"I..I.." Aiden stuttered. He couldn't finish his sentence. Hannah looked at this man who was shouting at her five minutes back and now, he can barely speak. That was when she knew, she wasn't the only one.
Even she couldn't say a word to him. She was too lost in his golden brown hair, dark, raven black eyes which looked as if they hid several secrets behind them. She was imaging the outlines of his biceps through the suit he was wearing. Strong arms and sculpted shoulders was all she could think at that point of time. She felt a little guilty for thinking like that when her beloved cooper stood destroyed between them.
"I am sorry." He finally said. He checked his watch, then continued, "You were right, I should have honked, it was my fault. Right now I have to rush, but I will pay for your damages tomorrow morning." He still looked baffled.
Tomorrow morning, she thought, that meant she wouldn't be able to talk to him now. She didn't want to leave just yet, not when her mind was still absorbed in his eyes that attracted her like the black holes did to light.
"Tomorrow? But how will you pay? I don't even know who you are...."
"Oh, right! I am Aiden Clifford. I am an architect and the CEO of Clifford Constructions."
"Architect? Dr. Hannah Mason. I am a guest lecturer of Physics at the university."
"I will ask my PA to send your car to the same garage I will send mine to. If that's okay?"
"Yeah, no problem." PA, she thought, so she might not meet him again.
"But, for that, I will need your phone number..." He lingered on the question before quickly correcting himself, "Or any other way to contact you, I mean-" Before he could say more, she had already written down her phone number on a small piece of card.
"Here, my contact is written behind the card, ask your PA to arrange it with my secretary, or you could contact me and we can discuss the situation..." She smiled shyly at him. He could feel the connection and knew, the cars weren't the situation she was talking about. His eyes lit up as soon as he held the card and they both knew it was start of something new.
