As Sangamithra woke up in the morning, she found Aditha looking at her.

Sangamithra: Thaangal urangavillaiya?

Aditha: Un vadhanatthai partthu kondirundhen. Itthanai azhagaiyum engu maraitthu vaitthirundhaai kanne?

She blushed and hid her face in his chest. She then looked at the falls which was near their window.

Sangamithra: Ennai thaangal andha aruviyai kaana kooda azhaitthu sellavillai.

Aditha: Adutha murai idhai vidavum azhagaana aruviyai kaana azhaitthu selgiren.

She smiled in response and they rose from the bed and dressed themselves up as it was time for Veera to pick them up. Veera reached the place as promised. After reaching the tents, Aditha informed the old priestess and the people of Niru and started to the the mainland.

At the same time, In the mainland, Virutha Varmar looked at Rukmani who had her hair dishevelled and sat on the floor away from him. Her eyes were filled with tears. She wanted to forget the things that had happened the previous night. In all those years of living in the palace, he had never touched her from the night she was newly married. He had always respected her right and stayed away. However, the previous night, he stormed into her chamber and had his way with her to show his anger towards her. On the previous day, he had asked her to come and meet him. She denied and stayed in the temple. He wanted to meet her to get Umayal to agree to this engagement. Since she had denied his request, he had shown his anger by violating her.

Rukmani was disgusted to even see his face. She clenched her fists and tied her hair into a bun. He looked at her as he sat up from the bed.

Virutha Varmar: Nee etthanai azhagaanaval enbadhai naan marandhe ponen Rukmani.

Rukmani placed a finger on her mouth and shushed him.

Rukmani: Vaarthai... Oru Vaarthai umizhndheer aanalum ennai naan maaithu kolven. Thaangal theendiya indha udal theeyil ittadhu pola erigiradhu. Naan verum pen dhaane enna seidhu vida pogiren endrallava ennai theendineer? Indru aanai idugiren. Thangalin uyir thaangal seidha paavangalukku prayachithamaaga pogum. Virutha Varmar: Rukmani!!!!

She roared her last word and the whole andhapuram heard her yelling. Virutha Varmar got up from the bed and walked towards the door. When he opened the door, he saw Umayal standing. She didn't even meet his eyes and kept her head down. He quickly left the chamber. Umayal came in and looked at her mother.

Umayal: Amma....

Rukmani hugged her as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Umayal: Naam yean indha nilaiyil irukkirom?

Rukmani: Un thamayan maaligaiyil illai allava? Adhanaleiye indha avalangal. Azhaadhe kanne.

Umayal: Thaaiye. Naan andha kizhavanai manandhu kolgiren. Ennaal dhaane itthanai kaayangal thangalukku?

She touched the wounds on her mother's body. Rukmani had visible wounds on her neck and hands.

Rukmani: Veandom Umayal. Nee oppukolla avasiyam illai.

Umayal: Veandom thaaiye. Enakkaga thaangal innum vali anubavippadhai naan virumba matten.

Umayal was also the reason Virutha Varmar stayed away from Rukmani as he never wanted to soil his image in his daughter's eyes. However, he no longer bothered about anyone. His greed towards one single kingdom brought the vile monster out of him.

On the same day, all the sons of Virutha Varmar returned to the palace except Aditha. Boomadevi welcomed her two other sons to the palace with open arms. Her middle son Raveendra smiled at her but didn't bow down. Her last son Ramanendra hugged her. Everyone hugged Rajendra and when it was Raveendra's turn, he hugged Rajendra and asked.

Raveendra: Thamayan enge?

Rajendra: Naan dhaana da un thamayan?

Raveendra: Thaaiku pirandha mootthavan nee. Naan ketpadhu pattathu ilavarasar. Nam anaivarin motthavaraana en annan Aditharai.

Rajendra: Thandhaiyai kooda ketkamal vandhadhum thamayanin pecchaa?

Raveendra: Enaku avar dhaan mukkiyam.

He then walked ahead as all the other sons met their mothers. Raveendra had always been fond of Aditha when everyone else always followed Rajendra. All the other sons never had an opportunity to grow with Aditha as he was sent to war early. Raveendra grew fond of him as he grew up hearing his praises all his life, whereas the same praises irriated Rajendra.

Raveendra then went and met Rukmani and Umayal. He was shocked the moment he found Rukmani.

Raveendra: Thaaiye idhu enna udal engum kaayam?

Rukmani: Ondrum illai Raveendra. Valarndhu vittaai. agavai irubatthi irandai kadandhu irukkum allava ippodhu unaku?

She asked as she touched his head.

Raveendra: Aam thaaiye. Enaku aasi vazhangungal

He then touched her feet. When Boomadevi entered with Ramanendra, that was the scene which welcomed her. She was already infuriated with Rukmani as Virutha spent the previous night in Rukmani's chamber. Raveendra being respectful and fond towards her added salt to her injury. She yelled his name and asked him to come and visit the king.

Raveendra however looked at Rukmani and smiled.

Raveendra: Varugiren Thaaiye. Neram kidaikkum bodhellam thangalai vandhu paarkiren.

He then left from there and went to visit the king. Even the first minister was delighted to receive the children of the king. Virutha Varmar's mood lightened when he met all the sons. One by one, everyone touched his feet and got his blessings while Raveendra stopped before touching his feet and looked into his eyes.

Virutha Varmar: Enna aanadhu magane?

Raveendra: Enaku oru kurai irukkiradhu thandhaiye! Adhai kettu vittu thangalidam aasi petru kolla ninaitthen.

Virutha Varmar didn't have any face to look at his son. First minister understood what might have happened with the king's wife.

He left the chamber without even getting his father's blessings. As he quickly walked down the corridor, he heard some voices inside Rajendra' chamber. He stood and listened to them.

Nedumaaran: Naam ninaitthadhu naalai nadakkavirukkiradhu. Naalai nicchayam. Aduttha vaaratthil thirumanam. Ilavarase! thangalaal mattume idhai nigazhttha mudiyum. Ilavarasi Umayalaiyum oppukolla vaithuvitteere!

Rajendra laughed. Earlier in the day, Umayal had informed the royal hall that she was agreeing to this marriage.

Rajendra: Enaku mun aval sirupillai. Nam gavanam Aditthanai thaduppadhil irukka veandum. Avan vandhu servadharku mun indha nicchayatthai muditthirukka veandum. Vaaku kodutthaal thavara mudiyaadhu allava??

Raveendra clenched his fists and walked away from there.

On the same evening, Virutha Varmar was informed of Sambaladevan's entry into the nation. The palace was aso gearing up for the next day celebration. However, Rukmani's chamber in the andhapuram didn't boast any festive mood.

Poovizhi and Bommi were keeping everything down for the past few days as the servants were punished and Porchelvi was still actively searching for the spy. They were the other two people who were not so happy about the upcoming engagement.

Poovizhi: indha nicchyam unmaiyil avasiyam dhaana?

Bommi: Devi, satru medhuvaaga pesungal. Nam nilaiye ingu thallaattamaaga dhaan irukkiradhu.

She came inside her chamber as she asked.

Bommi was shocked to see such a transformation from Poovizhi. She held her hand to stop her and not to say a word anymore as Porchelvi was more vicious than Poovarasi. However, Porchelvi didn't say anything for a moment.

She then adjusted her voice.

Porchelvi: Indha thirumanam nam ilavarasarukku etthanai udhavum endru nee ariya maattayo?

Poovizhi: Anaithu thirumanangalum ivaruku udhavum avaruku udhavum endru seivadhai vida seidhu kolgiravargalukku piditthirukkiradha endru paarppadhu illaiya?

Porchelvi: Pengalukku endru virumbum urimai vandhadhu?

She sneered.

Poovizhi: Thaangal irandaam ilavarasari virumbi dhaan manandhu kondeer endru oorengum pecchaaga irukkiradhe!

Porchelvi: Avarudaiya paraakramangalai arindha anaivarum avarai virumbuvar. Nee virumba villaiya?

Before Bommi could stop,

Bommi was really shocked to see such a development in her. Porchelvi also seemed to be convinced with the answer. However, she still had her doubt on her. With a scoff, she left the chamber.

They thought that they had escaped. However, Porchelvi was more vicious than they could imagine.

On the next day, Sambaladevan was seated in the groom's chair. Everyone was calling for the bride to enter the hall. However, Raveendra was standing outside the door in front of her chamber and not letting her to come out.

Virutha ordered the guards to remove Raveendra and bring the bride to the hall. At the same time, there was a commotion at the entrance of the hall. To everyone's surprise, a man with cross chains and rudraksham on neck entered the hall with a crown prince band on his head. Rukmani's eyes brightened to see her son return in full glory. Aditha walked in long strides into the royal hall with Sangamithra and others following him.
