"Glimmer, you still haven't talked to Bush about your... problems," Serene whispered.

"I know, I know! I'm getting to it," Glimmer snapped.

"Ok. I'm going to take a guess: Bush is Gemstone's father," Serene said. Glimmer glared at her, then beamed.

"You read my mind. You read my mind! Are your powers working? Can you control them?" Glimmer exclaimed.

"No. You two obviously hate each other, and when you talk about Gemstone's father you insult him the same way you insult Bush. And you insult everyone differently." Glimmer scowled at this.

"You're right. But I'm not talking to him about it yet."

Whatever, Serene thought as she rolled her eyes. She flew closer to Bush. The MudWing radiated a kind energy and it always made Serene feel better.

"Hey, kid. How ya doin'?" He asked, smiling.

"Good." Serene replied, unenthusiastically.

"Hey, what's up? You can talk to me," he said, with a concerned expression.

"Nothing. Well, it's not my place to say," she said, glancing at Glimmer. His expression hardened.

"Ah. So, you... you know?" he asked. 

"Well, yes. But I told her to come talk to you about it, so don't say anything, okay?" He nodded. "Thank you." 

"We're here!" Shouted Glimmer from the front. She could see Fate's house up ahead.
