The weeks that followed our arrival at Derf were busy and full of activity. We were all briefed and had to complete training exercises in simulators. There was much h to learn about the operation and because there was no telling what was in the other dimension we prepared for everything. Pressure  was mounting because the Jaguars were departing in two months.

Meanwhile I spent every spare moment walking through the parks.

It's so Beautiful and green. I've never seen anything like this on the surface. I wonder what it will look like where we're going.

As Kacy walked the grounds she thought of everything  that she'd been told of. The flora and fauna  of the supposed utopia was going to be drastically different form earths'.

"Agent Mulligans! Excuse me agent Mulligans, can I have a word with you?"

Startled Kacy looked around to see the man she'd met a few weeks prior, who turned out to be one of the head researchers, but she could not remember  his name.

"Oh...um no, I'm not busy at all. Can I halp you with something?"

For a few moments he opened and closed his mouth rather like a fish out of water and the blue light in the side of his head blinked furiously.

"Well," He stuttered, "I'm not quite sure where to begin you see."

She smiled, and wondered what this boy was doing, he seemed so out of his element.

"The first scouting mission takes place in a few weeks, but you already knwo that don't you. I was wondering if perhaps myself and a few others could accompany the Jaguars. And collect some samples of plant life and soil."

"I'm not sure if I can give that permission, you should ask General McCrete or whoever else is in charge."

He ran his hands through his already messy hair.

"You see, they won't let any unauthorized people have access and didn't see the need for my group because you already have qualified members to go. and I was hoping you could put in a word for us because  we've dedicated years to this project only to find they're going remove us from this assignment since we're no longer needed."

"I see what's in it for you, but it only means untrained sheep that my crew will have to protect. And seeing as we have no idea what kind of monsters could be lurking there I'm not sure it it would be best."

He looked disappointed, but it was the truth but she did not regret the decision.

"a...alright, I understand." Was all he said before turned around and walked away.

Later that afternoon Angey, could be found headed to the girls rooms at a quick pace. Her heels made a click click click clack noise, which bounced along the walls alerting everyone to her presence.

As she turned a corner strong arms grabbed and pulled her into a side room. She could not see a face or figure because a light was shining in her face. She was bound and gagged, when a deep husky voice began speaking softly into her ear.

"Angey Carslo. Age twenty-three. Height five foot two. Gender female. Title, Jaguar. This is you correct?"

Angey struggled against the ropes and cried as her desperate screams were muffled by the gag in her mouth.

"Miss Carslo, I need you to give a message to everyone. You can manage that, right? Tell everyone  to cancel the dimension research and bury it. And if they don't listen to you stop it at all costs, if you don't I'll kill everyone  you've ever cared about."

Desperate  for help Angey threw herself and the chair to the ground hoping to make enough noise to alert someone, anyone.

"I'll let you go now, now tell the others when you wake."

With that, the stranger held a rag dampened with chloroform to her mouth causing her to pass out. He then untied her and removed the gag before walking away.

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!"

Kacy heard the screams and recognized them as Angeys'. Before she had even reached the corridor her gun was out and loaded ready to shoot whoever was harming her friend.

"Angey where are you!?"

"Kacy help me! I'm in here!"

Kacy kicked the door down and found herself in what looked like an old closet. She quickly found Angey sobbing on the floor and what looked like a hostage situation.

"Who did this to you?"

"I..I don't, k..know. He scared me, Kacy I was s..so  afraid."

The girl sobbed into Kacys jacket.

"Shhh, it'll be okay."

She comforted the shocked girl as well as she could, before reaching for the portable radio.

"We have a situation in sector three Jaguars report immediately to the girls common room."

"Come on Angey, I'll make you some tea and then you tell me what happened."

"Who the hell did this to you?!"

Greyson was fuming and had already broken a vase full of flowers.

Still in shock and choking back sobs, Angey did her best to explain what had happened. Catherine held her and told her it would be ok.

"We need to inform McCrete," said Rance.

Jake looked up, "And him what? That we have a spy? Someone  working against us? Angey  could have died, we should just call this off and get outta  dodge."

"No, we need to inform the officials and search through he cameras, see if we can't find who did this."

Realizing Catherine had the best solution Kacy spoke up.

"I agree with Cat."

"Well I don't! I say we should hunt down the bastard make him pay for threatening one of our own."

"Greyson, that's not going to help anyone. No doing anything about this without us knowing. That's an order."

Greyson glared at Kacy, before storming out the door muttering to himself.

"I'll go inform the general and talk to Grey."

Kacy nodded her approval then turned her attention back to Angey.

I know this episode  is short but a lot happened.
Who is threatening stranger?why is there a blue light in Conners head? Who knows but please comment and vote.
