I wait in the reception of the photographer's studio, fumbling with my fingers as I wait. So eager now to see Katniss, Dwyn and Leigh.

My hearts begins to race faster as I hear a car approaching and parking outside. I hear the chatter between Prim, Katniss and Dwyn coming from outside as the car doors open and close.

I stand up and wait by the reception desk to see them and as they file in, my mouth drops. Katniss wears an orange gown with her hair curled. Dwyn wears a yellow dress with a mini gold belt and the Leigh wears a light pink dress as she is carried by Katniss. 

"Look at you all, absolutely gorgeous." I gush and bend down to pick Dwyn up as she comes to me. 

"I saw you daddy!" She squeals as she hugs me.

"Did you now pumpkin?" I ask her, kissing her head. "How funny. You look beautiful." I add.

"Thank you daddy. Your hair is weird." She said, patting it and squirming with a giggle at the stickiness. "You put glue in it?" I laugh and shake my head.

"I put gel in it, it's something close to jelly. It makes it shiny." I grin and kiss her nose.

"It's very strange Daddy, you're very silly." She giggled and hugged me.

I smile and turn to Katniss as she comes up to me. "Hello, gorgeous." I murmur before pecking her lips. "Had a good morning with the girls?" Katniss nods and smiles.

"It was beautiful, but I know it's going to get better now that you're here." I grin and give her a quick hug. 

"It will." I greet a tired Leigh and kiss her cheeks, which wakes her up a bit more. "Hello bubba. Excited to see me are you?" He kisses her small fingers and she squeals in delight.

I turn my head and lead them into the studio where a black sheet is set up against the wall. Prim follows behind, with Leigh's transportable bassinet and asks the photographer if there is anywhere to put it. The photographers shows her where she can and Prim explains if just for when she's not in photos.

I hug Prim and kiss her cheek before she goes, thanking her for her work with Katniss and Dwyn and then she leaves.

For the next hour and a half, we are shooting a variety of photos. Whole family, just Katniss and I, Dwyn and Leigh, the three girls and our daughters and I. I hear from the photographer that we will be getting both colour and black and white copies sent to us. 

"You have a beautiful family." the photographer says to me  as I pay for the shoot and I grin.

"Thank you, took a lot of courage but we finally made our little family." I say.

After thanking the photographer, I take my family to the car. I help Katniss get Leigh and Dwyn in their car seats. I kiss Leigh's head and I put her in and pinch her cheeks gently. She squeals and giggles, making me smile wider.

I close to door carefully and then get in the drivers seat. "Prim did an amazing job; you did choosing your gowns." I say and reach over to kiss Katniss' hand as I hold it.

"We certainly did. Your mouth did drop quite large." Katniss giggled and kissed my hand back. I begin to drive to the restaurant. Excited for the rest of the night ahead of us as a family.
