I was walking around aimlessly in creulean, and I walk up the path to the golden bridge. All of a sudden, Gary walks up. I had not foreseen this, and he challenges me to a battle. I panic. I'm definitely not ready to battle his team. I KO his pidgey with water gun from wartortle. Bulbasaur is next, and i switch out to mankey, even though I'm not certain it can take bulbasaur on. It's more important that warturtle is saved. Bulbasaur uses poison powder right off the bat and then proceeds to bombard mankey with vine whip and scores a crit once. Mankey just can't keep up. There's no use switching it- mankey dies, and I'm left with wartortle. wartortle kills bulbasaur with bite and murders his last pokemon. He walks away all cocky like. I rush to the pokemon center and put mankey in the dead box with spearow. I'm starting to get frustrated. I poured in time and training into this mankey and now its dead. I look at my P.C and sigh. Its time to train something that is immune to the poison that keeps screwing me up. Something that can murder bulbasaur. Its time to train a zubat.
