That was the day when she had said that the caste of a person did not matter but today how could she discriminate him on the basis of the same caste?

"What happened princess, why did you stop my friend?" asked Duryodhan.

"I......I stopped him because.......... I cannot marry him" said Draupadi.

"What? Why can't you marry him?" he asked again.

"I can't marry him because..................... he is a sut putra" replied Panchali.

No one had expected this from her and especially not Karn. He had never even thought that she would do something like this. He had, with very much difficulty overcome the insult that he felt whenever someone called him by that name but now that hatred, that pain once again grew up in his heart.

"Why Princess? Why? Why did you do this? If you had no intentions of marrying me then you could have refused straight away why did you have to call me by that name?" he asked hurt till the bottom of his heart.

Duryodhan was furious and said:

"He is not a sut putra he is the King of Ang that  is why everyone calls him Angraj don't you know that".

"Someone does not become a King by getting a kingdom in donation" said Draupadi.

Angraj's anger was visible on his face. He could stand that insult any longer but he thought that expressing his feelings would have been better.

"I never considered that you would do that Princess. I met you few days ago and you were not like this at all. Who has changed you so fast?" he shouted.

"People don't stay the same everyone has to change themselves according to the situation in front of them" replied Panchali boldly.

"Fine then if that is what you want, I will not complete the task but if  you have refused me now, who else would you marry?" he asked with a smirk.

"I am not afraid or worried about me, I am thinking about you. Who will marry you now. As you have insulted me now even if you hold my feet I will not even think about my marriage with you" he said loudly.

She was really worried now, she had expected that the Brahman would come but she had forgot that she did not even talk to him nor invited him neither did she had told him about her heart's desire. What if he does not come? Will she remain a spinster all her life? there were so many questions but no one to answer them. Her family had expected that Prince Arjun would come and will her, but he was nowhere to be seen. She had not even told anyone that she did not know even who he was? And neither had anyone told her about him except Govind.

"What happened princess? Went to deep thought? You should have thought about it before refusing my friend, so here is the challenge I put on you and your family and anyone who knows you if you want to marry then this is the only Swayamvar you can do it and if not then you are worthy to marry no one" Said Duryodhan.

"Challenge accepted" said Draupadi.

Though she had accepted it with all her confidence she was not at all sure about it.
