Izuku POV:

The week after the Sports Festival ended, classes started back up.

Ochako and I had fun hanging out with Iida and some of the others. Apparently Toga started talking to Kacchan, and he didn't yell at her and call her useless.

I asked her what she did, she said she just talked to him. 'It's that easy?'

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu became great friends while Ochako and I visited our parents.

Now I can't wait to see what Mr. Aizawa has in store for us today.

"What do you think we're doing today, Tsu?" Ochako asks Asui.

"I don't know. Maybe we'll do more hero training."

"I doubt it. Mr. Aizawa said that he'll have something special for us relating to the Sports Festival." Iida says with his air chops.

"Everyone sit down. You should've learned this by now." Aizawa comes in without the mummy wrappings all over him, and his usual 'dead inside' look.

"Today you are going to be looking at nominations given by hero agencies after the Sports Festival. You were given nominations by hero agencies that were watching the festival, and you have to choose one of those agencies to go to. Here are your nominations."

Behind him a rows of tally nominations from hero agencies appear.

Izuku Midoriya: 5,865

Shoto Todoroki: 4,123

Katsuki Bakugo: 3,556

Tokoyami: 360

Iida: 301

Kaminari: 272

Yaoyorozu: 108

Kirishima: 68

Uraraka: 20

Sero: 14

"Midoriya got the most nominations. It makes sense since he's the one that won." Kaminari says.

"But look at Bakugo and Todoroki's. It's not at all like how they were placed in the Sports Festival." Tsu says.

"Perhaps it's because of the attitude Bakugo displayed during the tournament." Tokoyami says.

"Oh yeah! If they can't handle me then they're weak!" Kacchan says angrily.

"Come on Bakugo, calm down." Toga says trying to calm him.

"Tch. Fine."

'THAT WORKED!'

"Those who weren't given a nomination, you can still find an agency to intern at. But for now, it's time for something important."

The door slides open and Midnight came in.

"You need hero names."

"I requested that Midnight come in to evaluate your hero names because I honestly don't care what you call yourselves. Now hurry and keep it down while I nap." He says getting into his sleeping bag.

"A hero name is important for heroes. It has to represent your quirk and personality. Our names are what the public sees us as, and recognizes us. I'll give you all 15 minutes to come up with a hero name, and if you have one, come up here and show us."

Everyone focused harder than I've ever seen most of them.

Aoyama was the first one to go up.

"I have the perfect name for a hero. The Shining Hero, I Cannot Stop Twinkling."

'Seriously?'

"It's a little long. A hero name should be short and simple. So take out the 'I' and shorten the 'cannot' to 'can't'."

'Oh man. I remember when Ochako and I used to make our names when we were little.'

Flashback 10 years ago:

Ochako and I are sitting on my bed talking about hero stuff.

"What do you want your hero name to be Izu?" Ochako asks me with a wide smile

"What about All Might Jr.?"

She starts laughing and rolled off my bed.

"What's so funny?" I asked feeling a little hurt.

"You can't name yourself after All Might. You should make your hero name that's your own thing. Like I was thinking Uravity."

"That's a great name, Ocha!"

"Thank you!"

We spent the rest of the day in my room before she left.

Back to the present:

"Izuku."

I jump a little. "Huh? What is it, Ochako?"

"You kinda spaced out there? Did you come up with a hero name yet?"

I scratch my neck nervously. "No, not yet. Are you going to use the name you used from the first grade?"

"Yep. I went up there a few seconds ago before I got you out of your trance."

"I can't think of a name I like that can be unique for me."

She looks away for a second thinking. Her face lights up and looks me in the yes.

"I got it. I know what you're going to say, but what about 'Deku'?"

'Deku?'

"Why would I use that? You know that I hate that nickname."

"I know it means useless, but it also sounds like the word for the word for 'to be capable of.' So it doesn't have to mean useless."

'To be capable of. I guess Deku can be whatever I make it to be.'

Toga goes up next.

"This is my hero name. 'Vampire Queen'."

"Very good. Now only Midoriya's left to show us his name."

I write my hero name on the board.

I go up and show it to everyone.

"Are you sure Midoriya?"

"Yeah. You can change it if you want to."

"No. I used to hate this nickname. I was called this to be useless because I wouldn't use my quirk to defend myself. But somebody important to me said that it can mean something else. Something that means 'I can do it.' So that's my name. I am the Endurance Hero: 'Deku'."

I look over to Ochako and she has a giant smile pasted over her face.

"Well that wraps everything up. I'll put these names in your student forms, and you'll be set. Class dismissed." Midnight says and walks out.

"Hey, Ochako. Do you want to hang out at my dorm?" I whisper so no one hears us.

"Actually can we hang out at my dorm? I feel a little uncomfortable with all the All Might's staring at me."

"Sure. We can do that."

As we prepare to leave the class, All Might appears in front of us leaning down at us.

"I am here! In a bizarre position!"

"All Might? What are you doing here?"

"I need to speak with you in private. Meet me down the hall."

"Okay." I agree and he walks away.

"Wow. All Might wants to talk to you. You must've really impressed him. That's so manly."

"Thanks Kirishima. I'll be back in a little bit."

"Okay. See you then."

I walk down the hallway until I see All Might.

"Hey All Might. What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Ah, Young Midoriya. I know how many nominations you've received, but I actually have someone who wants to be your instructor."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well you see. My master's predecessor saw you at the Sports Festival and contacted me. I haven't talked to him in a while. I sometimes forget to put him on the list of people who know about One For All. I was being very ignorant. Oh, he's going to be so angry at me. Anyways, here's the name and address of his location."

'HE'S SHAKING. JUST HOW SCARY IS THIS GUY?!"

"T-thank you. I can't wait to meet him." I shakily take the piece of paper.

I go to the front where Ochako is waiting.

"Hey Ochako."

"Izuku!" She comes up and hugs me.

"What did All Might need to talk to you about?"

"He gave me an offer from and old friend of his who knows about One For All. And All Might seemed pretty scared from just talking about him. So I'm looking forward to it." I say nervously at the end.

"That's...great."

"Anyways. Let's go. Oh, wait. I almost forgot. Where's Iida?"

"He didn't want to wait here. He just went straight to the dorm instead of going with us."

'I think I know what this is about. But I don't want to worry her.'

"Well then we can walk to the dorms holding hands without anyone finding out about us."

"I'd love to." She says giving a blinding smile.

We headed back to the dorm and hang out in her room.

When it starts getting dark. We just decided that I would stay the night like we've been doing for the past couple of nights.

"Goodnight Ochako. I love you."

"I love you too, Izuku."

We close our eyes and slowly go to sleep.

And done. I know I said I would do a few more fillers, but I couldn't think of anything else to do for filler. Please comment and tell me what you think.

Also, I was thinking of doing a face reveal if this story got enough views. How many views I haven't decided yet. But I do plan on doing one at some point.
