~Here Comes Trouble, Make It Double~
Requested By: SierraQuinnTheMinx
Summary: Just a little look to how Valerie and Sierra were like when they were still a part of The Maniax.
Ship: Valerie x Sierra= Valerra

Valerie, like every other inmate, of course despised Arkham Asylum with a burning passion. Although, as much as she did hate to admit it, she kind of deserved being thrown into it. She betrayed Fish Mooney, the only woman who ever took her in and even treated her like she was her own daughter after Valerie's whole life has been fucked over.
But she DID have her reasons...one of them being none other than Oswald Cobblepot. Her first love (much to his obliviousness), and someone who she has passionately sworn her utmost loyalty to no matter what the cost.
But he was long gone now.
...Or so she thought.
When she first arrived to Arkham, she was just so...lost. There was really no other word to it. She just wanted to get away from everything, but where would she even go?
She lost her light and her spirit. Her headstrong nature; her will to live right on the edge and do whatever the fucking hell she pleased.
She missed Oswald so much, more than anyone will ever even know. All her life she's always been so independent, and growing up the way she did she knew she can only TRULY count on herself. But meeting Oswald and getting to know him... She can't exactly explain how or why, but he has simply claimed every single part of her without him even knowing it.
Though, eventually, Valerie slowly but surely regained herself. And it's all thanks to one person.
Sierra Quinn.
Most of the inmates and staff were terrified of Valerie. She much rather prefers to keep to herself--silent and brooding in a corner, with no one knowing what she was thinking. She would slit your throat even with just a plastic knife in a heartbeat if you dared bother her! But this one blonde young woman just wouldn't leave her alone, and she most certainly wouldn't take no for an answer.
Everyone thought that Sierra was downright stupid and probably suicidal to be trying to interact with Valerie, then it came as a total surprise when they heard the ex-assassin laugh for the first time.
And sooner or later, they even started hanging out on a regular basis! Valerie found herself smiling genuinely and generally just having a good time again after so long despite their situation, Sierra having helped pull her out of the deepest pits of grief.
And for that, she was forever thankful for her newfound bestfriend.
They were just like twins. Both strong, sassy, and humourous plus seemingly running on the same energy. There was an undeniable connection between them, almost like a magnet, and soon they couldn't think of living in a world without the other.
Then one day... Tabitha Galavan busted them out.

"I'M BOOORED!" Valerie whined, lazily sprawled out across the couch in Theo Galavan's living room.
Sierra, as if on cue, walked in just right on time and sighed loudly. "Tell me about it! Literally none of us have anything to do right now. I wish Theo will hurry up and give us our damn tasks already!" A crazy grin spread across her lips. "My hands are just ITCHING for chaos!"
Valerie sat up, matching her grin. "Me and you both, love. Say, what d'you say we...CONVINCE Theo to give us some fun?"
No other words needed to be said. Sierra only smiled, her eyes gleaming wickedly as she nodded vigorously.

"Are you girls being serious right now? Taking me hostage in my own room?" Theo sighed with an exasperated roll of his eyes.
"Hey, I'm not the one with the knife to my throat right now!" Valerie shrugged, pressing the sharp blade dangerously closer to him.
"This is what happens when girls get bored, silly!" Sierra giggled, just as she finished tying Theo up to a chair and him grunting softly at how painfully tight it was.
"This is completely RIDICULOUS." Theo grumbled, glaring up irritably at them. "What do you two even expect to come out of this? Besides, Tabitha will get me out and deal with the both of you."
"Tabby would NEVER do that, she just loves me far too much! More than her sorry excuse of a brother, at least." Sierra replied all too cheerfully.
"The thing is, Galavan, Sierra and I are done with your shit. It's great that you had us busted out and all, but we know that you have ulterior motives. But for now, we don't care about any of that. We just wanna do something, and you REALLY wouldn't like it when psychopaths get bored!" Valerie chuckled, her voice low and malicious as the blade was just close enough to break Theo's skin.
Theo gulped, but it was so subtle that neither of the girls noticed. He kept a calm facade until, finally, he couldn't take it anymore.
"Fine. The boys are going to be terrorizing the city later on this afternoon, and you two are free to join them."
The girls beamed excitedly, highfiving each other.
"Here comes trouble!" Valerie proclaimed.
"Make it double!" Sierra finished.
As they made a move to leave the room, Theo cleared his throat.
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
"Oh, right!" Valerie snapped her fingers, rushing back into the room and grabbing her knife before getting out.
Theo could only stare at the now closed door, clicking his tongue. "Tch, bitches..."
"THANK YOU!" Valerie and Sierra sang out in unison.
