It is no secret that Val is one crazy ass bitch. However, she does have a heart (as small and black as it may be). So that's why, she SOMETIMES has a hard time killing or torturing people. If she knows that a person is completely innocent or hasn't done anything to bother her and her loved ones, then she'd just wanna leave them alone. That's one of the main reasons why she would NEVER hurt little kids, defenseless senior citizens, and especially not animals. So I guess you could consider her as an anti-villain since she's sort of in between, and sometimes she can even be bribed (or just for her own pleasure) to hunt down extremely evil people.
