"Beep beep beep" I heard my alarm. I grabbed my phone and turned it off. I rolled out of bed

and went downstairs. "Morning mama" I said to my mother. "Has Tomás came down stairs

yet?" "No," she replied "can you go wake him?" I ran upstairs opened his room door and

yelled "TOMÁS!!!!" "Qué Lupe???!!!" He whined and threw a pillow at me. "Get up idioto

estúpido, your gonna be late for school!" "fine!!" He said walking out of bed in his Minecraft

pajamas. I put on my green polo shirt and my grey skirt then started brushing my teeth. As I

start applying my makeup I hear a whine from Tomás. "Why do I have to go to school

mama?" He complains. Listen Tomás you learn things at school to become smart. "I don't

want to be smart though mama." "But Tomás don't you want to get candy because I only give

candy to smart people." "fineeeeeeee!" he whined "ok now go take your uniform and get

dressed." Sí sí sí mama." I heard him running up the stairs as loud as an elephant. I finished

up my makeup then headed downstairs. "Adios mama y papa!" I yelled before grabbing my

backpack and heading out. I hopped on my bike and starting riding to the bus stop. I was

locking up my bike when my friend Vera appeared. "You beat me this time," she said "but

tomorrow I will get my revenge!" She exclaimed. "Yeah yeah." I mocked. " Oh look," I say

"Tomás is finally here." "Oh Nora!" Vera shouted at her older sister. "What?" Nora called

back. "You're late." "and?" Nora asked. "Whatever." Vera said as the bus pulled up full of

tired kids. I found my seat next to my best friend Josefina. "Ughhh shut up Carlos!" I hear

her shout as I see her older brother and his girlfriend Maya sitting diagonally from us. "You

can't make me Jose" He replies. "Carlos," Maya shouts "stop teasing Jose!" "Ok." He

surrenders as we are met to a stop. The doors of the bus open and everyone rushes off.
