"Yeah I know that" Ethan said, "and you asked her for marriage but she wasn't ready, so you two agreed to abort the child" He said.

"Well" Grayson looked at Ethan, "she didn't abort it" He said, "so...now?" Ethan said a bit confused.

"Ethan!" Grayson said annoyed, "she gave birth to a baby" He said. "What? Congratulations!! You should be happy dude" Ethan said hugging his brother, "I'm so happy for you guys" He said breaking the hug.

Grayson hid his face behind his palms, "her parents don't know this, and they have fixed her marriage with an Indian guy. She broke up with me because she cannot go against her parents" Grayson finally said, Ethan's excitement vanished in a second.

"Bro, what the fuck?" He said, Grayson looked away, "what about the child then?" He asked, "she's coming to India tomorrow" Grayson said, "and she wants me to take care of the child" He said.

Ethan took some moments to understand what the situation was, "let me get this right. So, you two made out without protection, she got pregnant. You proposed her for marriage but she wasn't ready. So you two decided to abort the child. Obviously she went back to Manchester to continue her studies and I believe she didn't see you and her family for all this time" He said, Grayson nodded.

"Now she's given birth to your child and her parents want her to get married to another guy. She's agreed and she's giving the child to you" He finished, "yeah" Grayson said in a low voice.

"This is a fucking joke" Ethan said in disbelief. "Did you agree to all this?" He asked Grayson, "I had to. There's no other option. Her parents will never let her marry a British and someone has to take care of the child" Grayson replied.

"I fucking hate this" Grayson said irritated, "I genuinely believed that she will never leave me" He said, "and she's doing this just because of her parents" He said.

Ethan kept quiet, "like what the fuck is wrong with British people?" Grayson asked, "I fucking hate this thinking" He said, "and I fucking hate Indian girls!" He said before leaving.

"Boht chaalu nikli yaar" Bandana said about Priya, "what's chaalu?" Ethan asked, Manjot and Sameeksha looked at Bandana. "Kya? Chaalu hi to nikli" Bandana said.

"So is she coming here tomorrow?" Manjot asked, Ethan nodded. "Obviously Gray doesn't want to see her, so we'll have to go to the airport" He said, "kitne baje aa rahi hai?" Bandana asked, "6:40pm" He replied.

"Me nhi drive kar rhi" Bandana said, "Bandana please yaar" Sameeksha said, "no" Bandana said. "Why?" Ethan asked, "uss jungle se hokar jaana padega" She said, "ham honge na saathme" Manjot said.

"Kaash mene talli hoke drive na kia hota" Manjot sighed, "hey please?" Ethan said to Bandana, "ab to bilkul nhi" Bandana said.

"Haan bolti hai ya sabke saamne woh baat batau?" Sameeksha smirked, "konsi baat?" Bandana asked, Sameeksha looked at Manjot, "Mandy pata hai..." She said and Bandana immediately interrupted her.

"Chalungi!! Me hi drive karungi" She said, "good!" Sameeksha smiled, Manjot looked at her, "kya secret hai tum dono ka?" He asked, "hai kucch" Sameeksha said and looked at Bandana.

It was night and Grayson didn't leave his room after he received Priya's call.

Ethan went to talk to him, "Gray everyone's waiting for dinner" He said. "I don't feel like having dinner" Grayson said trying to concentrate on the hindi tv serial that clearly, wasn't making any sense to him.

"Gray come on, she wasn't the one" Ethan said, "I don't want to talk about her" Grayson said with his eyes fixed on the screen, "at least look at me when I'm talking to you" Ethan said.

Grayson didn't move his gaze, "your child's coming tomorrow, at least be happy for that?" Ethan said, Grayson finally looked at him.

"You know how badly I wanted to have a kid?" He said, "I never ever fucking imagined that my dream will come true in this way" He said.

"I know but you have to deal with the situation now. I'm with you" Ethan said, "I know...but...I don't know what to say" Grayson sighed, "I know one thing for sure, it'll be extremely hard for me to fall in love again" He said as he stood up.

Ethan was aware of the fact that Sameeksha was developing feelings for his brother, and maybe sensed that at some point in the near future, they would get stronger.

"What are you thinking? Let's go" Grayson said, Ethan nodded and they went to the dining room.

Sameeksha and Grayson had a short eye lock when Grayson was sitting on his chair, "guys I'm really really sorry. I imagine Ethan's told you everything, unfortunately the child will be living here with me, if you don't mind" Grayson said.

"Of course we don't, don't worry man, we'll take care of your child as a family" Manjot smiled, Bandana rolled her eyes.

"Who cooked this?" Ethan asked as he tasted the food, "why?" Bandana asked, "cause he didn't like it. He never likes someone else's cooked food" Grayson said.

"I cooked it" Bandana said gritting her teeth, "I wanted to say that it's actually very tasty..." Ethan said, Sameeksha tried to control her smile.

"Little spicy..." He said taking a sip of water, "but it's very good" he smiled. Bandana looked down and carried on eating. 

Manjot nudged Bandana, "kya hai?" She asked, "paani" He said. She placed the jug in front if him, "aur kucch?" She asked. "Bhadki kyu ho yaar? Mirchi hai khane me to woh bechara bolega hi na" He said.

Ethan looked at them arguing, he observed a different connection between the two, something that he never noticed when Manjot talked to Sameeksha.

Sameeksha was doing the dishes after dinner when Grayson came, "need help?" he asked, she turned around, "oh, no...thanks" she smiled. "Actually I wanted to talk to you" He said, "yeah, what is it?" She asked. 

"Well, talking to Bandana would have been a little challenging, so I thought I'll just ask you" He said, she nodded. "So, I want to start my project as soon as possible, and I need some help with it" He said, "what's your dissertation topic?" She asked.

"Razia Sultan" He replied.
