"Korede! Don't do anything stupid!" Theresa screamed while running up to catch up with him but he was far too gone to even listen to what she was saying.

He is mad. Mad at himself and also mad at that ape. He was out for his blood. A lot of gory things ran through his mind as he thought of ways to rip him apart.

Should he break his spine? Smash his face into his head? Break his head, skin him alive?

Students were quick to step out of his way because they could tell he was angry, it was the haunting and blood thirsty look in his eyes that gave it away.

He entered the class, looking for that one person that will bear the brunt of his anger that morning. He saw him sitting alone, though his friends surrounded him, he looked uninterested in the conversation.

He marched towards where he was sitting, the noise in the class started dying down as they all wondered on the reason why he was in their class.

Akeju looked up from his deep thoughts the same time he saw Akorede marching towards him with a deadly look in his eyes and clenched fists.

He knew the truth was out...

Grabbing him by the collar while lifting him up from the chair, his friends shouted in confusion but they know not to interfere.

"You.fucking.bastard!" He finished his sentence with a fast punch to Akeju's face. There was a crack followed by gasps from students in the class.

He grabbed him by the collar, pulling him up before throwing him to the ground as he threw fast punches at his face.

He tried defending himself by blocking and attacking him with punches but it was all futile as Akorede pound him in the face with his fists repeatedly. Delivering devastating punches.

His friends tried pulling Akorede away but it was all in vain as he seemed to glue to Akeju's almost lifeless body and bloody face.

Students screamed hysterically in panic as they started to notice the blood and the unconscious state Akeju was slipping into.

Evans and Faramade ran into the classroom and both panicked when they saw their friend on Akeju, delivering fatal punches on him. They quickly move into action, it took them a while before they were able to pull him off.

"Cool down dude! You will get into trouble!" Evans snarled at his face but he only glared back struggling in their hands.

"Let go of me you idiots! I'm going to kill him!" He screamed causing the students watching the whole scene to cower back in fear.

They have heard of his anger but most of them had never seen or experienced it, they were asking themselves what could Akeju have done that would have caused this reaction.

"Akorede you-" Faramade was cut off at the new voice.

"What is going on here?!" The principal screamed in horror, while staring down at Akorede bloody clenched fists.

Evans groaned while Faramade swore loudly, he was unbothered, glaring down at the still form of Akeju whose friends are trying to revive.

"Ma'am there-" Evans spoke up but he was shut down by the single hand from the principal.

"Wellington! To my office! Now!" She ordered with anger clearly evident in her voice. "And get Balogun to the clinic!"

"What rubbish is this?! Like are you high on something when you did this?!" She screamed at him while pacing back and forth in the large living room.

Akorede said nothing as he refused to look up at his parents, he was lost in thought but he didn't regret beating the shit out of him. He was actually glad he sent him to the hospital.

How dare him?

"Am i not talking to you?! Or are you now deaf and dumb! Answer me!" Simisola Wellington screams her lungs out.

She got the shock of her life when the school called her that her first son had sent a fellow mate to the hospital. It was something she wasn't expecting.

"Simi... Calm down " Adejare ordered from where he sat on the armchair while watching his son carefully. He knows him, he knew he would never have done that unless the boy had triggered him.

"Don't tell me to calm down! Don't tell me! This boy wants to ruin our name! I mean... Think of what people will say, of what my friends will say if they heard my son was acting like a hooligan in school!"

" So that's what you care about? About what people will say? Not on the reason why he did it? Adejare questioned his wife with raised eyebrows, equally surprised at her way of thinking.

She hissed before taking a seat on one of the expensive leather couches in the living room, tapping her foot on the floor rapidly.

"Okay... He is here. Let's hear the nonsense he wants to say" she said while throwing him an evil look. Her body shook in fury under the two piece suit she was wearing.

"Son?" For the first time Akorede was called to the impromptu family meeting, he looked up "explain..." His father opened the floor.

"It's not my fault. He had it coming"

"So you choose to kill him abi?!"

"Woman! Let this boy talk!" Simi rolled her eyes before turning her other cheek, a sign for him to continue. "Go on boy..."

"Like i said he had it coming... He has been getting on my nerves. He is a big bully who seeks pleasure in seeing other people in pain" he said bitterly.

"I don't want to ask this cause i know it can never happen but has he been bullying you?" Adejare asked slowly.

"No" his father raised an eyebrow at his answer "he  sexually assaulted my girlfriend" his face fell at his son confession, Simisola sat up in surprise at the confession.

"The same girl... Omotolani right?" Adejare asked to confirm.

"Yes-"

"Wait wait? I'm lost... What's going on here? Did you just say girlfriend?" Turning to her husband with a hard glare on her face "you don't look surprised!"

Father and son exchanged looks knowing they had left her in the dark. Shit is about to go down!

"Mum..." She turned to him with that same intense glare that all Coles seems to possess "yes. I have a girlfriend_"

"Since when?! And when did you start fooling around with girls? Is that what i sent you to do in school?"

"You had no problem whenever Celine comes here acting like my girl and an entitled brat!" Akorede defended getting fed up with his mother's non chalant attitude towards the whole thing.

His girlfriend was almost raped... Raped!

"Celine is a different case and she is not a brat!" Akorede scoffed, shaking his head in annoyance at the whole issue. "Is that the reason why you choose to get yourself suspended by the school after beating up a fellow mate?"

Akorede gawked at his mother, mildly shocked at her action but was equally not surprised. To Simisola, any other girl apart from Celine, her  best friend's daughter is not important to her.

"Can you just listen to yourself?!" Adejare let out in an outburst. "He was protecting the dignity of his friend!"

"While he is at it, he should also think about the dignity of the family name he has to protect before dragging us into utter rubbish! I mean do you know what scandal it can bring?!" She snapped while standing up, she stormed out of the living room ranting along the way.

Her husband stared at where she disappeared into before shaking his head.

"Dad-"

"Did you hit him well?" Akorede raised an eyebrow at his father's question. "Did you knock his teeth out?" He asked while turning to face him.

"I did" Korede affirmed.

"Good" he said with a single nod, a sign for him leave as he was being grounded to his room through out his suspension.

His mum had already collected his phone and gadgets so he has no connection with the outside world and that is eating him up badly.

He wants to know what was going on.

Has she come back to school?

How is she doing? It is taking him everything to disobey his mother's orders to go and visit her. There is no way to contact her now that his phone had been taken away.

He does not have one single remorse for what he did and if given a chance again, he would pound his face into his skull.

If i can just see her... Just for a while, there is a lot to talk about, a whole lot.

"I just finished talking to dad, the school is looking into the matter" Tega stated sitting opposite the two girls while placing his phone on the table.

"Any news?" April asked from where she sat with Omotolani.

"Nothing much but it seems he is denying the allegations" Tega responded while stealing a glance at his cousin who hasn't said much since the start of the conversation.

"Of course he would" April said with a scoff and an eyeroll.

"I'm actually pained that i didn't have the opportunity to lay my hands on him, he would have wished he was never born"

"I think another person had beaten you to that task" he snickered "and he did a good job at it based on the fact that he was admitted in the hospital due to serious injuries he sustained "

"As if he is any better!" Tega snapped causing Tolani to flinch.

"Can you guys just stop arguing over this issue? Please?..." Came her quiet voice.

"Sorry" April quickly apologized while Tega said nothing, only watching her.

"You haven't said anything about the matter, you look too calm for this" she gave him a long look before looking away.

"I don't want to talk about it"

"I think it will be good if you start talking about it now" April gave him a long look too "yes, i mean where and when it happened? to make your words valid over his since he is strongly denying all your allegations"

"Wait... You don't believe me?" Tolani questioned in a hurt manner while Tega gave her an annoyed look.

"Who said i don't believe you? If I don't believe you, do you think i will be here?" She didn't bother replying him as she stood up, walking into the house in a fast manner as if she was being chased.

"Dingbat!" April chided while hitting him on the arm.

"So I'm the bad guy? I'm just trying to help here, to get justice for her and to keep that SOB in the hospital for a longer period before sending him to jail"

"That's an impolite way to go about it! It was like you were attacking her"

"I'm not att-" he was stopped short when one of the security men who was assigned to the main gate walked up to them "what is it?"

"Sir, you have a visitor..."

"Who?"

"He didn't say much about himself, he said he is from Saint James College and claims he is really close with Tolani"

"Ehn en?" Tega said as a frown grew on his face while April listened attentively "boy or girl?"

"A boy... His dark with a lot of curls in his hair and-" he stopped talking when Tega stood up abruptly with a furious gaze.

"Let's go"

"Tega?... What are you going to do?" April asked looking worried due to the scary look he possessed. He didn't say anything as he followed the security man, leaving her a bit worried.

Pushing the hoodie further over my head, i rubbed the palm of my hands together in anticipation as i wait patiently for the security man who had been keeping me here for a while now to come back.

It is a risky thing i did sneaking out of the house knowing i am being grounded but i can't help myself anymore. Even if it is just seeing her, no words...

Just to know and see that she is okay...

I stood straight when i heard the sound of the gate, the security man stepped out as i gave him a false smile but it quickly dropped at who followed.

Fuck me....

This is what i was dreading, i was not planning on running into him but this was his house so i shouldn't be surprised but with the angry look on his face, i know he was not pleased to see me here.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with a threatening edge to his voice, crossing his arms, trying to look intimidating, he may be to some but not me.

"I am here to see Shetemi. Is she at home?" I asked gently not wanting to ruffle his feathers.

"Yes, she is at home and no, you can't see her" he said with a finality in his voice that didn't go down well with me.

"Tega come on... Don't be-"

"You know? I never thought you will grow the balls to show your ridiculous face here after what you and your band of idiots did-"

"It wasn't me!" I defended. I sent the bastard to the hospital for goodness sake!

"You also have the effontry to ask for her? You were meant to protect her dude! What kind of a boyfriend are you?!" He shouts getting into my face.

"I know i am at fault and i am extremely sorry-"

"You are not sorry... Where you not the one responsible for all this craziness? Or you think i don't know what happened?"

I bit down on my lip as i look down in shame.

"I'm sorry-"

"That's what i thought. Now you can leave" he said turning around to go back inside.

"You can't just ask me to leave! Do you  know what it cost me to be here?" I was suddenly pissed off with the whole situation.

"I'm not asking you, I'm ordering you to get the fuck out of my face before i mess up your pretty face with my fist" he threatened.

"I'm not going anywhere" I took my stand "I'm not leaving until i see her and there is-"

"Get lost Wellington!" He screamed suddenly pushing me at the chest making me stumble a bit.

"Make me Peters! I want to see her and i demand to see her!-" i was cut off by an heavy blow to my cheek which made me lose my balance.

Damn... He is strong...

"Boys!" I hear someone scream, i shook my head to regain my sight which was a bit blurry.

The security man was holding him back from pouncing on me cause he looks feral. April was by the gate, opening it up for me to see the compound which was packed with cars.

My eyes widen as i see her standing by the entrance of the house, she gave me a single look before going back in.

"Go..." I look back at April who was blocking a scary Tega with her small body, she flicked her head towards the house as he swore heavily at me.

"Thank you" i nodded in gratitude as i ran into the house, away from Tega who was now shouting at me to come back.

I'm not leaving until i talk to her.
