Chapter 9: Contemplating

Herobrine's POV

Gah..what was that Author thinking when she came here! Not to mention her friends, who would only lead to their demise.. If he was thinking correctly, Notch would've felt it. That..pulse. He'd sensed it the second that each of the three stepped into his world..the world of Minecraft.

He managed a weak laugh, sitting in his room. His clothes laid strewn all over the room, the room of someone who was too busy (or too lazy) to clean up his own mess. His enchanted diamond sword laid on his lap, the sword humming quietly with power.

"It..She..Gah..I can't even speak correctly.." Herobrine mumbled, hugging the blade. He flinched as the blade cut the side of his cheek, and then continued hugging the blade. It wouldn't matter, would it? Either he'd die along with everyone who was a part of the rebellion, or Notch would.

"Hey..it's alright." the blade murmured to Herobrine. "Just convince the author, or authors to listen to you. After all, the portal collapsed."

"It..did?" Herobrine asked, letting go of the sword as it hovered above the ground.

The blade shimmered a pale blue and bobbed slightly. "It collapsed moments after the Authors' arrival."

"So..they are trapped here then?" Herobrine asked, stroking his beard.

"I'd believe they could get out if they wanted," the sword said slowly, and Herobrine flinched. "Don't give me that face!"

"I'm not." Herobrine said, managing to keep his face the same as it was before, but inside, several emotions were bubbling.

"Look, get your point across to them." the sword said, flashing brightly and boldly. "After all, they wouldn't kill someone like you off!"

"You do have a point there." Herobrine murmured. "With the right points, we could convey our message to them, and they could change the story around."

If swords could nod, this one did so. "Indeed. I suppose we shall head to them now?"

Herobrine nodded and grabbed the sword's hilt by one hand. "I believe it would be best."

The sword quivered in Herobrine's hands. "Let go..It'll look more intimidating then."

Herobrine sighed and let go of the sword. He opened the door as it creaked open, and the two of them walked down the hall.

Sparrow's POV

"Gah, I'm glad you're better now.." I said quietly as I hugged my little sister.

Throughout the course of several days, I'd managed to heal Daisy to the best of my extent. Unfortunately, several slash marks still littered her arms as scars. I mentally slapped myself whenever I'd seen them, and Daisy told me it was alright. It wasn't.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine!" Daisy squealed, bounding away from Sparrow as she bounced onto my bed. "You should go back to Fawn!"

I flinched. "She'd kill me on the spot.." I said quietly, but Daisy shrugged.

"She wouldn't kill a friend," she said, beaming. "Especially you!"

"Look, just drop it.." I grumbled, looking at Daisy. "Please."

Daisy flinched, and I did so. I didn't want to make Daisy sad..but..

"Fine, I'll go." I muttered, and Daisy grinned.

"Yay!" Daisy said, cheering.

"But..on one condition." I said, and Daisy froze.

"What is it?" Daisy asked, and I smiled.

"You come with me." I said, and her smile returned to her face.

"Okie!" Daisy said, grabbing a rainbow colored backpack off her bed. "I'm ready!"

"Alright kiddo." I said, smiling as I climbed down the ladder from the treehouse. "We've got a bit to travel, and not a lot of time."

And..Chapter end?
