Chapter 10

The obsession with Danny Phantom is real >.<
———————————————-

In a door some ways away...

"One, two, Dan's coming for you."

A dark chuckle filled the small room with a large echo.

"Three, four, don't bother locking your door."

So what if they knew he was out? It won't change a thing.

"Five, six, your bones will break like sticks."

There will be no running from him.

"Seven, eight, ten years too late."

He will become him. This is the future. There's no hiding from destiny.

"Nine, ten, I'm coming for them."

Back in the Far Frozen...

Dash sat next to Kwan on the couch, brooding. Kwan on the other hand, sat on the couch next to Dash, snoring. When Dash couldn't take the loud noise anymore, he started to calm down and smiled in Kwan's direction. He took off the letterman jacket he was wearing now that he'd changed. He aimed carefully, and chucked it at his friend. Startled awake, Kwan fell off the couch and yelled "COME AT ME NERD!"

Dash fell out of his seat as well, laughing to hard. The nerds(the only nerds that came were actually Mickey,Nathan, Rebecca, and Mia. Most of there others were to )just walked in at just that moment, before walking out immediately. A small whisper could be heard among the four. "And we're the nerds."

When the two jocks composed themselves, Dash put his hand on his friend's shoulder. He pulled Kwan's head close and whispered, "Let's prank Fentertainment- tonight."  The two shared a look that would have scared any nerd, but probably will only annoy the raven haired child. They planned to follow Fenton around until the best possible moment to humiliate.

Hours later, they would find that it's harder to prank a kid in the Ghost Zone.

——————

Danny was supposed to go with his parents to visit Frostbite. They didn't quite know which house was the designated hut, but Danny did. He may not have said he knew because he visited every now and then, but instead told them that the Yeti had told him the way.

As Danny walked through the village, acting like he didn't know one hundred percent where they were walking, he thought of if he should tell his parents. Not that he was the ghost boy. No, definitely not that for a while. He wondered if he should tell them about Dan. He'd ask Frostbite of course to tell them, he'd look suspicious otherwise.

Danny has always been slightly oblivious. He won't deny that. That doesn't mean he's not smart, though. Getting smarter as the days go by.

Lost in a daydream, Danny walked into the door to their destination. Maddie immediately checked over her son to see if he was okay. The thud must have made whoever was inside think they were knocking, because soon after a booming come in was soon heard. Jack stepped around his son and wife, who were both standing now. Jack opened the old, rustic looking, wooden door.

He stepped in first and looked around, quickly finding the large yeti. When all of the present Fentons had walked in, the door closed on its own. The large shadow of a yeti crept closer, growing bigger. It stopped right in front of them, and then, suddenly...

"Do you want a cookie?" Frostbite held a plate of chocolate chip cookies out, and Danny was quick to grab three and shove them all in his mouth.

The meeting between the four beings in the room began, and many things were discussed and agreed upon. Dani would be accompanying them, they would have extra fuel in case, and a slip that would prevent ghosts from attacking them without permission from clockwork. The slip was just a slip, not some ghost shield, but it did give Walker an excuse to capture and hold someone as prisoner. The most important part of the meeting though, was when Danny and Frostbite looked at each other, and knew; they needed to tell the Fentons of Dan for their safety.

Frostbite sighed, his blue eyes meet with the Fenton adults, Maddie sensing that something was wrong right away. The cold room became colder with the downcast mood. Frostbite sat down after standing for so long through the entire meetup.

"There is a ghost, I suspect, that you have not known of. Many of the ghosts here in the Ghost Zone don't know of him themselves. Only the few with the highest authority know if fact."  The Fentons looked at Frostbite, confused. They knew that even if they didn't know all ghost names, they had to have at least all of the ecto signatures. Frostbite, seeing as the Fentons were waiting for him to continue silently, followed their wishes. "He greatly overpowers the late Pariah Dark-"

The Fentons were financially shocked out of their stupor at this line, and Jack was the one to say something first by interrupting the yeti. "Pariah was an extremely powerful ghost that even that ghost boy, Phantom, had to use an invention of ours to stop him! Mr. Gray informed us of this as soon as we had regained consciousness after... unspoken events(What, don't want to say that an entire group of adults knocked each other out? Starting with you?)," The older Fenton boomed. He was quick to explain his reasons behind the impossibility behind the statement. If there was a ghost this powerful, then stronger defenses would have to be started now, the class would have to leave the zone, even good ghosts that value their afterlife more than power.

Sensing where her husband was drifting with his thoughts, Maddie addressed the yeti directly. "Would it then be to much to ask for you to escort our bus back to the living realm?"

The yeti locked eyes with the auburn haired woman in front of him, and with the most sincerity one could ever muster, said, "I must apologize, for if this ghost has truly escaped, there will be no escape for anyone."

Danny, who had been silent through the meeting, fidgeted in his seat. Maddie took this as he was scared and hugged him close. She almost didn't realize she had the question until it came flowing out of her mouth in a whisper, "What is its name?"

Frostbite rose to his feet again and moved closer to the door, symbolizing the meeting was over. Right as Maddie was about to step out the door, arm still around Danny, Frostbite spoke up. Only loud enough for the Fentons to hear, he said, "His name is Dan."

Before any questions could be asked, the door was shut, and the Fentons were left to walk back to their housing hut.

—————

Danielle didn't expect to be doused by what was assumably not water. Daniel didn't expect to walk back to the hut to see Dash pinned to a wall by no other than Dani Phantom. The Fentons didn't expect anything in general when the they got back so they were more shocked than confused.

Glowing green eyes

Time change

A few minutes earlier

When they saw Danny leave, the jocks had set up to work immediately. Dash and Kwan had heard the door beginning to open, their prank had been fully set up, and the bucket over the door was released. Under the door though, stood a teenage girl (presumably 14, at least), now frozen in shock. She turned her head fast enough to break a regular human's head. Her eyes glowed a deadly toxic green, and her pure white hair seemed to flame in anger, hot enough to burn off the wet substance. Looking straight into Dash's and Kwan's eyes, they knew they messed up.

That was a bit before the Fentons had walked in. Kwan was gone, probably a runner. Dash had a darker spot in his jeans then the rest. We can all guess why, can't we?

It took a few minutes even after that to get the girl to let go of the frightened Dash, and a few more to calm her down. Many of the students had come to see the commotion by now, and they could finally get a good look at her without the angry glare. With a long sleeved crop top and baggy sweat pants in the color scheme of black and white, matched with the hair and eyes, the kid looked much like their hero, Danny Phantom.

Quick to see the crowd that had grown during her angry rampage on Dash, Dani realized she still hadn't introduced herself. Or explained why she was here at that. A bright smile took place on her face, and before questions could be asked, she started talking.

"I'm Dani Phantom!" She announced in a cheery voice. Valerie, who had been quite through the trip so far, let out a little gasp of recognition. Many of the students were confused by her name, and someone voiced what they were all thinking.

"But you're a girl!"

Dani's eyes were quick to land on Kwan, and she smiled a sickly sweet smile. "Yet I scared you with a simple look your way not to long ago." The jock closed his mouth and remained quiet. "Yes, I am a girl. In fact, I'm a clone! Danny Phantom's clone, to be exact. I'm here to be your escort."  Dani finished off, directing her last sentence to the three adults in the room. Maddie sent a nod of thanks her way, and Jack turned to face the class.

"Well let's get up and out! We have a Ghost Zone to explore, ghosts to meet, and Fudge to eat!" The older Fenton left to pack anything taken down from the speeder, and the class followed after.

Hey look at that! I updated! I figured, hey its midterm week for me. Let's at least give the readers a happy week. So we're moving on from the far frozen. If any of you think this is moving to slow, just know, I'm still only a freshman writing a fan fiction, if you dont like it, don't read it. I'm going at my own pace, and i usually have a short attention span when it comes to writing.

I'd like to just give a moment to ask you to give a simple thought towards the people in all recent disasters. The hurricanes, shootings. No matter where you are, or who you are, your religion or whatever, please. I wasn't apart of any of it, but it breaks my heart. All i ask, is you give them a bit of hope.

SO LONG MY CHICKEN ARMY,

YOUR LEADER,

-Bella
