This story has been inspired by my love of fantasy in literature: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, The Lord of The Rings, A Court of Thorns and Roses. I've also been inspired by my love of fantasy on film, (most of) the above mentioned literature made into movies as well as a childhood favorite, Willow. I'm so excited to share this story with you!

Summary:

When Eliana's grandmother dies, she makes a trip back to the town she lived in as a child. Flooded with memories and feelings of nostalgia, she realizes that there is so much about her family and early life that she doesn't know. Her best friend, Harper had come along for the ride and offers moral support, as well as her snarky replies.

But destiny comes into play and the two girls find themselves in an unusual land, the Ferlands. And yet somehow, to Eliana it feels like home.

As they travel the land, more about its origins and Eliana's connection to it, are revealed. The girls find themselves tangled up in a revolution, and Eliana is the unlikely spark that will bring change and peace to the struggling land.
