Chapter 3
While Natasha was trying to actively kill her brother and her other brother trying to desperately hold her back, Mikey wasn't the only boy who's attention she claimed. Surprisingly, Hakkai couldn't keep his eyes off the girl. She was, dare he say, cute. Despite the inhumane banshee-like sounds currently coming from her in the moment. Regardless, she immediately became drawn to her especially after hearing the story of her act of selflessness a few days prior. The story had been passed on so much so that the girl became what one would call an enigma. An enigma everyone wanted to meet. Now here she was. Just as crazy as he heard yet even more beautiful than the story gave her credit for and grasping his complete and undivided attention. He was so awestruck by Natasha that he didn't even notice Mitsuya talking to him. It was that bad. Finally the lavender haired boy got his attention after punching him on the shoulder quite hard.
"Jeez Mitsuya-san! What was that for?!" Hakkai asked as he turned to look at his captain. "You keep staring and you'll turn her into stone." Mitsuay chuckled as he saw the blush that was already on Hakkai's face grow. "Was it that obvious I was staring?" Mitsuya nodded in response to Hakkai's question and put a hand on his back. "Go talk to her. She calmed down a bit now. Don't worry, okay? I'm sure you can do it. I'm right behind you." As the two made their way over to a now mellowed out Natasha who just tired herself out with all the yelling she did, Hakkai froze the moment her big eyes met his. Her cute face made his heart pound out of chest and the words he was gonna say got caught in his throat. Sighing quietly, Mitsuya introduced himself and Hakkai and then bumped the taller boy signaling him to speak. Looking at the girl nervously, Hakkai stuttered out a question.
"I-I-I was wondering i-i-f you'd wanna hang out Friday? If you're not busy after school..." Perking up from the question, Natasha immediately accepted. "Hell yea! You like bowling?" After hearing the word bowling, it was like all of Hakkai's nervousness evaporated as he and Natasha carried on about their love for the sport. "I got my own ball and everything! Is it cool if I bring it tomorrow?" Hakkai smiled as he nodded as he went on about his streak and never once getting a gutter ball since he was a toddler. After confirming their plans for Friday, the two parted ways and soon the meeting had started. Moving to stand with Emma like Natasha had originally thought she'd be doing, she was told by Draken she would be going with them up to the meeting and not to worry about Emma. as she was escorted up the stairs, she was placed next to her brothers and their division.
As she looked around, Natasha noticed just how different her brother's demeanor was when in an important gang meeting. There was no goofing off here. It was all business. It was a very different vibe from the goofballs she originally thought they were. As the meeting commenced, Natasha watched carefully and listened intently. Her eyes flickered to how her brothers were standing and copied their stance and held her arms behind her back. She then copied their serious and intense expressions to a T. Just as she was getting the hang of how to stand and during a gang meeting, it was over before she knew it and next thing she knew she was on her way home holding onto Souta tightly as he drove her home while simultaneously racing Nahoya.
The next day, while Natasha was going about her normal day in school, Nahoya and Souta were called in for an urgent meeting by Mikey himself. As the two entered the cafe, they noticed that the attendees were only captains. Souta was the only exception due to a reason Mikey didn't explain over the phone. After taking seats at a booth, Mikey then revealed to everyone why he called them to an urgent meeting at freaking 9 am. "So I'm sure we all know Natasha by now right? We know she's strong, tenacious, determined and very very spirited." Mikey began to which a few captains made sounds of agreement. All except for Takemichi who looked surprised to have even been invited.
"I've thought long and hard about this. I know you all remember my plan to start a 6th division without actually appointing them a captain. Well with careful consideration, I'd like to induct Natasha into Toman and give her the 6th division. Thoughts?" Kisaki was the first to voice his opinion. "Are we sure she'd even know what to do with a group of 20 or so riled up teenagers? She doesn't have a handle on her own temper, Mikey. How do you know she won't run that division into the ground?" Next to interject was Mitsuya. "I think with a bit of help with that temper of hers, Natasha will be a great 6th division captain. She just needs a little time." Takemichi nodded as he listened. Mucho was next to voice his thoughts. "I heard about her fighting skills and I believe she could focus that nasty little temper she's got into her fighting. But I do have concerns about her picking unnecessary fights with others."
The final say however came from the ones closest to Natasha. Her brothers. Nahoya was first to speak. "As much as I like the idea of my sister joining us commander, I can't help but think this is a bit rushed. I'd like to suggest letting her hang around and see how things work for at least a week before just throwing her into the gang head first with little to no instruction and how we operate." Souta then spoke. "I agree with Nahoya. We let Takemichi hang around for at least a couple of months before we decided to put him into Toman and a little bit longer before he replaced Baji as 1st division captain." After listening to everyone speak their piece, Mikey came to a conclusion.
"Natasha will have a 2 week period of trailing each captain and seeing how things in Toman are done. Along with that will be a 1 week period of training to keep that temper of hers at bay. Mucho, Mitsuya, I'll entrust that to you both. Then another week to see how she handles her soon to be division. That's an entire month. That should be more than enough time to shape her into a captain worthy of the Toman uniform." As the meeting was dismissed, Nahoya and Souta found themselves just giddy with excitement. They just couldn't wait for Natasha to be apart of Toman.
