Chapter 15

"So how was the dance?" My mom asks when I wake up and go down stairs.

Amazing.

"Good," I say, pouring juice in a cup.

"Anything happen?" My mom wiggles her eyebrows.

I feel my cheeks heat up. She gasps. "What happened?"

"Nothing," I lie, taking a sip of my juice.

"You just blushed like a fool!! So something happened!" She laughs.

I end up telling her that we kissed, leaving out the details. She squeals. "Yay! About time he made a move on you!"

I laugh. "I'm getting in the shower now,"

I am happy that we kissed. And I am guessing he may like me now if not then mixed emotions.

After showering, I pull on a shirt and shorts. "I'm headed to work, call me if you need anything." My mom yells.

"Okay!" I yell before I turn on the dryer and dry my hair.

I end up watching a movie on Netflix. My thoughts keep going to the kiss.

It was amazing. First time I got to kiss a crush. It was amazing, I've said that twice because it is true.

I wonder what he's doing right now..

I end up falling asleep again on the couch.

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Era," Cameron says into the phone. I gulp.

"Hey," I say softly.

"Hey." He laughs. "What are you doing?"

"Oh I just woke up. I was watching Netflix earlier, but fell asleep."

Cameron answers. "Sorry I woke you up. I was wondering if I could come over."

"Oh. Uh, yeah sure." I stammer, trying to keep from squealing.

"Okay, I'll be there soon." He says then hangs up.

I run full speed up the stairs and brush my hair. I put some light mascara on and perfume.

I look down at my outfit, then cringe. I take my shirt off and put on a cleaner one.

Just when I want to change shorts a knock at the door, makes me jump.

I curse and go down stairs, to open the door.

Cameron stands there, smiling. His eyes travel down my body and I suddenly want to go hide.

"Hey,"

"Hey," I say, letting him in.

He smiles and sits at the couch, I sit down too.

We watch a whole movie without a word, but he eventually moves closer to me.

"You okay?" He asks.

I nod my head and continue to watch the movie.

He kisses my hand. Then pauses the movie. "Wha-"

He grabs me and pulls me onto his lap.

"What are-"

"Shh." He says, kissing my jaw.

My body tingles and I gasp. We kiss for a while then he pulls away.

"I need to ask you something?" He says, kissing my neck.

I curl my hands in his hair. "W..what is it?" I ask.

His hands rest on my thighs. Then he kisses me again.

"I was wondering," he says, kissing my jaw. "If you would like " he whispers in my ear, kidding my ear lobe. "To go," he moves to my neck. "On a date." He stays at my neck for a while. Then he moves to my lips. "With me?" His lips are so close that they rub against each other when he speaks.

My hands stay on his chest. I look into his eyes that are filled with hope.

"What?" I ask, raising my eyebrows slightly.

He looks at me and smiles wickedly.
