Cake!!

Even dreary days can't keep me away,
Your soft, comforting touch keeps the pain at bay.
Sparkling sugar and frosty delight,
The gentle, loving, refreshing light.

Cake, oh my sweet!
Your bright, lovely fluff no other can make!
Glimmering drops of sugar and spice,
Boom! The explosion of flavor is truly, quite nice.

Every day, as your warmth wraps around me,
I relax and sigh, my tongue tingling in Glee.
I melt with a smile,
I think I can stay for a while.

Cake, oh my sweet,
The glory of your beauty, none can beat!
A Cascade of emotion, so soft and glad,
It sets my heart racing. For you, I'd go mad!
