LEO:

Percy appeared at the house at 7.30 a.m. sharp. I and Nico were already ready for school. We had devoured our toasts and were now waiting in our room for Percy and Apollo to come. Percy entered the room and said, "I guess the pillars of Destruction aren't up yet. Let's sneak out before they are awake." We sneaked out of the house successfully. Today was one of the lucky days when we managed to get out of the house unhurt. We walked our way to the bus stop. It was a 15 minutes walk. We waited there for another 5 minutes when the school bus pulled up. We hopped in and got to our usual seats at the back. The journey was quite long. An hour to be exact.

Now that I don't have anything productive to do, let's get on with my life story.

I am Leo Valdez and I'm sure you've guessed that by now. I'm 16.

I am in High School, a grade below Percy but I am not a dumb fool like him who barely passes in his subjects. I am pretty good at maths and other science subjects but language is my Achilles' heel. I love doing science experiments the most and enjoy making models and mechanical pieces. I am also good at drawing but not as good as Apollo. He is at a whole new level.

You already know about my family and I am not going to repeat that crap because I am the jester. So be braced for laughing as it is my shield against the bullying at school. Now, I am a closeted bisexual. Note the word closeted. It is because of those freaking homophobes. I have seen what they are doing to Apollo. He is more responsible than everyone I have ever met. I just respect him without doubt. He is the best guy I have ever met. He and Percy are the reason I and Nico are alive still now or else we would be chilling six feet under.

I wanted to get a part-time job to help Percy and Apollo, but they refused point blank and threatened to tie me in a corner with a ball gag in my mouth to stop me from speaking and moving. That would be hell literally and symbolically. So, I didn't push the topic further.

I have a little crush..... no a huge crush on Nico but I am not sure that he would like to date me, that if he sees me only as a brother or more than that or his sexuality. But be sure, once the great Leo gets a single hint that a relationship between him and Nico is possible, he would not waste a second and woo the dark haired, pale skinned boy.

The bus has come to a stop. I guess this is my cue to stop and hop away to school. I waved to Percy and Nico and skipped away towards my locker in the hallway and to my class.
