Last time, our three travelers have come across another group of gems. And they have some questions that need to be answered right now.

The green gem said as she holds her sword for defense, Comet walk close and answered,"We're just two gems, only jasper, and the human we're with is a geologist. And we are on a noble quest!" Jasper face-palmed, "We're trapped inside and here to find another exit out of this volcano." And Jaime came up and said,"And I'm here for assistance." and Comet reminded,"Oh by the way, our names are Comet and Jaime." The three gems all looked at each other and told them to excuse them for a second, they huddled up and whispered,"What do you think girls? Should we help them, they don't seem dangerous?" the tall gem said,"I don't know, they're with a human, I don't trust them. Especially that jasper, she looks strong." then the purple gem said,"But we're also caved in, it won't be long until this volcano is going to erupt soon. And it's just one human being, and besides we could use some helping hands to get us out of here too." The three gems all nodded and and agreed to help them to get out while they still can. They break and finally said,"Alright, will help you out of here. But only for you guys to help us escape too, ever since that huge quakes that's been happening they blocked all of the entrances. We could use your strength to break us out of here." Comet gave out a thumbs up and said,"Great, what are your names but the way?" they three gems all introduced themselves in order, "I'm prehnite." "Amber." "And I'm obsidian." "Cool names." Comet commented.

Then all six went down deeper into the caverns to find a new exit, with their only light. "So, what are three gems like you doing in this volcano?" Comet asked,"Ever since the war between Earth and Homeworld, we have been here for... who knows how long." Prehnite answered,"And we've been here since then, hiding from human eyes." Amber finished. "Well humans aren't exactly a threat to gems, unless you count as the government." Jaime joked, then Comet asked in "But I'm pretty sure they'll won't get in our way. Nana pua can talk them out, she's the mayor. Like a leader." "I see." Prehnite understood,"But I don't see you has a gem before, what kind are you? Some sort of defective citrine?" Comet responded,"I'm not exactly a gem. Back then I was a robot made from hematite." Then Obsidian shouted,"You know Hematite!? I was one of her followers." "Woah really?" Comet asked and obsidian responded,"Yeah really, she helped me build this hand blaster. See?" as she summoned her blaster and showed it to him, "Wow that is so cool." Comet said, "But what do you mean by a robot? Robots can't be turned into gems?" obsidian asked, "It's a long story, but I'll tell you all later." Then it's jasper's turn to talk, she asked,"And what's your story, Amber? Are you a fusion." then amber said,"No, I'm a single gem. You got a problem with four eyes?" jasper being slightly intimidated by her but said,"Haha, like her already." "Barf." Comet said, and triggered jasper. But all came to a stop when they a dead end.

"It's a dead end, let's turn back." Prehnite said, but Jaime stopped her,"Maybe not a dead end." Jaime come close to the wall and started tapping it. "What are you doing?" Jasper asked, and she said,"I'm trying to find the way out." Then her taps started to sound hollow, "Aha! Right here." She then marked the spot on the wall, "Think you make an entrance with your fists?" as she pointed to the X. "You don't have to tell me twice." Jasper then summoned her helmet and headbutts the wall to make a jasper shaped hole. "We're out." the five all peaked outside, and see a bunch of holes with slightly blue-ish green ponds with fumes. The gems all plug there noses because of the smell, "Ugh, smells like rotten eggs in here. This must sulfuric acid, Oh no... Jaime you better-" But before Comet can save her from hallucinating Jaime was already in a gas mask, "Oh I know there hazardous to humans so I came prepared. This isn't the first time I walked around volcanoes." All of the gems gave out a weird look at her and prehnite said,"I fear for that human's safety."

then they all walked through the sulfuric acid pools so they don't trip and fall in. Comet then realized,"You know, the pages said something about a silver shield. Hematite told me that if silver goes to close to the fumes here they become dark. And if she wants to destroy it she could've done it here." Jasper getting worried and said,"Please don't looking around, you might fall in." But Comet already left, "Wow, fast." Obsidian said in amazement, "Ugh." Jasper face-palmed again. Then everyone started searching for Comet knowing that if she falls in the acid she could actually die. "I found her!" Jaime shouted and pointed at that direction. Comet was on a ledge reaching out what looks like a half burnt piece of paper that's stuck between two small rocks. "Gah! What did I just say!" Jasper shouted, "Oh relax jasper, I'm not gonna fall in. Almost....and got it!" Comet successfully snatched the paper out of the pool and climbed back up to safety, "And you were so worried." then the ground starts shaking again, Comet lost balance and was about to fall in but Jasper came in and grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the acid pool. Jasper grabbed her hand so high up to her face and said," You were saying?" Comet smiled nervously and jasper put her down. Comet then held out the paper but it was hard to read will the letters slightly burnt up.

" s fumes are getting the shield all black, this place is dangerous. That one time where I accidentally dropped by journal into one of the id pools. Luckily they didn't get completely burnt. I have to use my shield to protect myself, but when the one time I did dropped the sh it didn't melt. It's indestructible, great. n't be destroyed after all. be bad news. If this really can't be destroyed. I don't I want to know."

Comet's face turn from excitement into seriousness, the shield was powerful. And if someone get's it this will a start of another war. But no realizing the three gems heard the story they asked, "Who wrote these? Certainly wasn't us." Prehnite said, Comet then explained the whole story of a Zircon who holds this very shield. "No way! That is so cool! but also serious." obsidian said, "If that shield really is dangerous we must find a way to eradicate it." Amber replied, but prehnite was curious to this Zircon and asked," What color was she?" then Comet answered,"Um a pink one?" The three gems all gasped in shock. "She's still alive, after all these years!?" Comet, Jasper and Jaime are all confused and asked what's wrong and they said, "Pink zircon was a gem gifted with intelligence. She was an example of a perfect and flawless being to the diamonds. Everyone in homeworld all wanted to be like her but one day she got caught in the war. We never thought she would still be alive. How did she survive?" Then Comet asked, "Well you three are also survivors how'd did you three avoided the diamond's attack?" Then they all answered, "We were all underground." And that got Comet thinking, only for a few minutes."hmmm, but the war zone has no place to hide underground. Maybe we should go back and warp there to find how she avoided it." Comet thought out loud, "Finally!" Jasper said in relief. "Well that's settled then, let's all go back to little homeworld. And you three can come too." Comet mentioned, "There are more gems!?" Amber asked, then Comet answered," Yes, and they were all uncorrupted. Now you get to live freely without having to hide." So the three gems all followed them back to little homeschool.Until bluebird azurite was hiding behind them. "Huh?Never know there will be more gems on earth? But I'll be completely out numbered if they all saw me. I guess we could wait a little until the right time." And speaking of the right time.
