It was morning, Steven and the gems are all out for a walk. They planned on going to Funland since he's gonna be staying for a while, "I heard that Mr. Smiley had just installed a new attraction, and he says it something both dangerous, more awesome, and more exciting than anyone has ever ride on. I bet it's gonna be a something waaay cool, like a new roller coaster, or a haunted house, oh! Or maybe both." Amethyst getting excited for Funland's new attraction. But as they were about to go there, they heard loud noises and screams at Funland.

They arrived at funland and surprised to see what was causing this havoc.

Pink diamonds old palanquin....moving on its own!

But something was off, it was walking funny and it's shooting out bolts through the curtains (And don't question the logic of how it's not burned by it). The palanquin was swaying back and forth,side to side, trying to gain its balance. Making it crashing into one of the carnival game huts. Steven was shocked and exclaimed "Why's mom's palanquin moving on its own!?" til he heard a voice from inside the palanquin "Woa -hahaha- ho, this is a lot more difficult than I thought. Guess you need the diamond's actual powers after all, but I'll somehow." Comet said as he was struggling with the button. Garnet then said "It's Comet, he must have activated it. But he couldn't control it, we can use that to our advantage." The gems all summoned there weapons and they all went after the legs, until it started to jump. They looked up in confusion, then when it start to fall back down they all backed away quickly. Then the palanquin started to shoot lightning bolts again. "Guys, get behind me!"Steven said As he pulled out a huge shield, they all ran up behind him. They huddled up and talk to one another to think of a plan, first Steven said "How are we gonna defeat this thing if you guys can't get near it? you'll all get poofed." Then Garnet said "But you won't, your immune to the destabilization." Then pearl explained "But he'll get electrocuted and get hurt, and besides let's not forget he has that shuriken with him if he gets stunned." Then Steven curiously answered "Wait, shuriken?" Then they all continued rambling about until someone was fighting the palanquin.

They all looked over the shield to see who is fighting it, Jasper was the fighting that thing with her spin dash. "First you humiliated me, and now you humiliated my diamond's grave!? oh you just crossed the line mister!" She was furious, then as they all saw the opening the gems and Steven all charged at the palanquin and knocked it down. When the smoke was cleared away, they all looked inside. But no ones there, he escaped...again. "Phew! That was tough, but at least he didn't do that much damage. Well except for the roller coaster, it's been demolished." Steven said in relief. Then Mr. smiley came up to Steven and happily said "Ah no worries, I've been wanting to get rid of it. People been saying it's not that half exciting since it break down. So that's why I want you all to enjoy the new attraction I came up with." Then he smiled and showed what looks like a literal roller coaster and a haunted house combined, amethyst burst out laughing and said "Oh wow, it is both!😂" then Steven said in concerned "Wait, why is there a giant monster me in there?" Then Mr. smiley answered "Oh that, well ever since that monster incident everybody been talking about it. So I use it as the main prop of the new attraction, if it's not to much for you." Steven then laughed nervously but at the same time it looks kinda fun, so everyone enjoyed the ride.

After the ride the quartz soldiers helped cleaned up the palanquin parts, Steven saw jasper just standing in front of the pieces. He walked up to her and said "Really sorry about Mom's ride, this was must be what made you saw the fake shattering of her." Jasper then shrugged and said "it's fine, but that jerk is still out there. So I'm used to this." Then amethyst came running to Steven and showed him a photo of there ride together "Wow, I never thought you guys might actually be scared of this. It's not even that scary." He looked at the picture to see pearl screaming and huddling against garnet and amethyst having fun raising her arms. "Yeah but it's still funny just looking at it. *giggles*" then Steven noticed the picture being photo bombed by some red and yellow blur showing a piece sign next to him.

Somewhere outside of space, a red and blue gem is going back to earth with a plan they had in mind.
