Few days have past, and everyone is back to being peaceful again. At least it pretends to be for some people. Since that Steven no longer carries pink diamonds powers ever since the surgery, things have been more difficult than he thinks. Seeing her mother alive in person, and probably giving out a lot of apologies for these past 5,000 years. And even though Steven is okay with just being human he couldn't help but think that this is all a bit...... peculiar. But at least he won't start glowing or swelling up again, but he still feels that this is not quite the he wanted. He feels.... petty, yeah that word. But that doesn't matter now, he hasn't seen jasper in a while now. Even at her rock she's not there, he looked around to see if he could find her but she's no where to be found. Until he finally found her, at that crater where Comet first landed.

Steven might have thought she might come here, he slowly walks towards her seeing jasper just sitting on the ground not showing her face. "Um, it's been weeks now. How long have you been here?" Steven said in a soft, concerned voice. Jasper didn't answer, just this same grumpy poker face she always gives out. Steven getting a bit uncomfortable walked a few steps back and said "Still thinking about comet? I ...uh... know you don't like talking about it. But its not too late-"
Jasper finally spoke without letting him finish "It's already too late." Then Steven said "No I meant not too late to celebrate, you did come all the way just to save me. And I did save you from corruption so now we're both even, right?" Steven put on a nervous smile, but jasper didn't say this time. Steven sighed and said "Well, if you feel like going just come with whenever you feel like it." But before he can actually walk away, jasper mumbled a little. "What was that?" Steven asked what she just said. "Nothing." Jasper said, but Steven not taking that word for an answer so he got the courage to walk towards her. "Jasper, I'm human not deaf you know. So what did you said?" Steven asked again, then jasper replied "No one ...ever wants to stay." Steven was a bit confused by her line and asked her why? Jasper then said "No one I fused with ever wants to stay." Steven now even more confused, "Um, can you be more specific?" Then jasper replied only louder. "No! I meant why do all gems leave me? I was an honorary soldier too everyone. First it was pink diamond, but turned out to be faked. Then when you showed up on my doorstep just to train, I give you my loyalty to you and you just lashed out in anger and left beach city, saying I should find something else to do. And then next is Comet, who was also loyal but now left as well. All thanks to that Jerk, Nova." Jasper punched the ground out of rage. Steven now finally understands why she act like this, she just takes her pride on being a quartz soldier but needs someone to gave her actual purpose. "I get it now." Steven said, "You need someone worth fighting for. I know you take pride on your work well but you can't keep acting like this." Jasper talked back "I never said I was the bad guy you know." Steven now understood everything, she was fighting all her life because he took away her status.

"Steven!?" A faint voice of pink diamond came down to see her baby. "Oh, hi mom." Jasper then got into position out of habit. "Oh jasper, are you still thinking about your friend?" Pink diamond asked, jasper doesn't want to say so she just nodded "I see. Steven, you father is putting on a concert for everyone. He said it will be great if you come with me to see him play. He'll be playing the song when we first met." Steven said "Sure I would love that. It will be like your anniversary." Pink diamond not knowing what that word means but loves it anyway. "Do you wanna come too?" Pink asked to jasper, she responded "Uh..sure?" But Steven remembered the song dad sang to mom so he said "Um you don't have to if you don't wanna." Knowing this might be a touchy subject for jasper. "If my diamond asks to this concert, I have to obey." Then pink diamond and the two all went out of the woods to beach city.

Everyone is all here, including the Acie. Poor girl must be all alone now, well sort of alone. I mean she's carrying diva's core in her hands. Everyone all gathered around the stage, when Greg come to the stage and so did the crystal gems everyone cheered. All except hematite, who's head is on her notepad. Hematite may not be doing gem reproduction anymore but that's not gonna stop her from achieving her goal, so one the gems rolled their eyes at her. Greg went up to the mic and said to the crowd "Thank you everyone for coming. Wow, the last time I held out my first concert I only had an empty audience." Everyone laughed at his joke but also felt bad for him, "But that all changed when I met you." Everyone clapped and whistles at pink diamond, being flattered. "So I like to give out this song that I first played out."

Everyone clapped and cheered again, it was amazing. Jasper was a little impressed but the song but tries not to like it. "You seemed okay with the song" Steven commented, jasper replied "So, just a song. Doesn't actually hurt anyone." Spinel "Wow, That song is so cool!" "Hehe, thanks spinel." Greg said, until spinel said "And look it that, your song was so sick. Even that star coming right.... towards you?" "Wait what?" Greg said in confusion. But spinel wasn't kidding, after realizing what she just said. There was an actual shooting coming right towards the stage. "Woah get down everyone!" Everyone all got out the way, including Greg. The Star wen t by so fast it cut the stage in half until it landed on the sand. "Woah what was that! Was that an actual Comet?!" Greg asked. But despite the damage it took it was still awesome, but glad that everyone's alright. The gems all came up to see some sort of orb?

Learning it was an asteroid, it's a core. The same as Diva's. The core was half damaged through all that space travel. And the color was yellow too. "What do you think it's from" Peridot asked, then hematite said "That's Co-58, his core was designed to withstand light speed. It resembles as a gem geode weapon, just the others." Hematite then got an idea, she only studied the gem part but never the form. "That's It! Why didn't I think of this before, the answer is right in front of me all along!" She then grabbed Comet's core, which was still hot from the landing, then grabbed Acie with Diva "Hey! Where are you taking us!?" Then hematite said "To the lab, where ever it is!" Everyone all just looked at her in a weird way. Steven got all excited to say "Jasper, that means your friend was alive. That explosion just made it into some sort of boost to travel through space to get to earth.Somehow." Hearing about Comet being alive is a miracle, jasper gave out a small smile on her face without her knowing she smiling. Steven saw jasper's face and did a smirk looking face, jasper looked back at Steven and said "What?" "You were smiling just now." Jasper shouted "Wha-No I wasn't." "You do miss him! That's so cute." Steven said, "Guh! Whatever." Jasper kept turning around to not make eye contact. Then Steven kept teasing jasper while pink diamond laughed.

One year later...

Pearl was talking to Steven at the phone "Steven, how's school going for you." "Oh it's going great, I told everyone in class how I was absent and was able to keep track of my grades."  Then pearl then gave a question she was curious about "Steven, do you ever want your powers back?" "Whatever do you mean?" Steven asked back, "It's just that its good your not swelling anymore, but do you ever want to be part gem again? Just asking." Knowing that this question will come out eventually, but he doesn't mind. "No, I think I'm okay. I'm just glad everyone's happy, including mom." Pearl gave out a relief smile and said, "Okay, well just call us if you have something to tell us." Then they both said bye each other on the phone. Then pearl introduced to the new students to little homeschool. Pearl asked "So are you three ready to get you class?"
