Applejack galloped swiftly in the wind, her brown leather boots making contact with the muddy ground. The muddy substance soon splattered onto her denim jeans and clothes, only restricting her movements. Twigs were stuck in her tangled blonde hair. The cowgirl stopped in her tracks once an elaborately decorated building, which was addressed as Carousel Boutique, stood in front of her.

Without a single knock, she burst into the tower. She took a few steps into the boutique only to see nopony there. "Rarity, ya here?" she called only to get no response.

"..."

As she waited for her friend, she observed the flamboyant room. Accoutrements of all kinds were neatly hanged on the wall. Rolls of fabrics were laying on the ground. Rarity's mannequins, which wore dresses of all shapes and colours were placed in a neat row. A quiet melodic tune played in the background.

Suddenly, she heard a high-pitched shriek. "What have you done?!" Rarity shrieked staring at her expensive carpet.

Applejack, who was extremely puzzled, looked down to find Rarity's once clean purple carpet covered with none other than mud.

"Ah'm..." the cowgirl started only to get cut off. "No need to apologise, darling. Just...clean yourself up," the fashionista grimaced as she gave her friend a warm clean towel and pointed to a changing room before shoving her into it.

"And do it quickly, darling! Once our friends are here, I'll be able to share some exciting news to you," she added, leaving Applejack to wonder Rarity's so called exciting news was.
