Y'know, they say the universe started with a Big Bang, where there was first nothingness, Stars and galaxies suddenly exploded out into our universe, a beautiful and mesmerising dance of millions of galaxies colliding and expanding. The biggest party ever, well, for our character, they got the Big Bang part right.

I'd like to introduce, my viewers, to our main character, Sam. He doesn't quite remember much about what his life on "Ee-arth" (strange name, I know) was like, only small tidbits such as his name, race, and general information you should remember about your planet, (seeing as he lived on it). That information is completely useless to him now though, as he awakes in a white shell, with small lines of light creeping from cracks in-between the round shell.

He also discovers some other things, such as that he has eight appendages, a slightly warped vision, and he is very cramped in this place of his, now Sam reacted to this event as any sane man would, he said -and I quote-. Ahem.

"AHHHODGODWHATHEFUCKISHAPPEININGWHEREAMIOHGODAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH".

An apt choice of words I suppose, anyway, after having a rant that went along the lines of "where the hell am I?". His egg suddenly opened, revealing a hideous figure, a ten-feet tall arachnid, or spider, if you will. Now, he immediately tried to leg it and run the other way, when he found that he couldn't move his head, he had to move his entire body to even look around, which was easier said than done as he wasn't used to these six new legs of his.

So, using his two front legs and the shell he was still half encased in, he holstered himself around to look to his left, to find that other spiders were climbing out of similar eggs as the one he was in. He also found out three things, one, he was in a large crack in the ground, he knew this because he saw that the roof of this place was a massive crack that showed sunlight, stretching on for miles. There were tons of dead bodies some of which were deer, giant frogs and some dead wolves that were the size of him.

Two, he looked to be about half the size of the gigantic creature he would call his mother, meaning he should be around five feet tall, oh yes, his mother, there wasn't really much to say about her except that she had some spikes on her legs, was a greenish-blue colour and had a small horn above her eyes, other then that? Pretty much a normal spider, or as normal as a giant spider can get. His "siblings" also had the same features except for colour, those were all different, some reds, blues, and even a few pinks! Sadly he couldn't see what colour he was, with the whole "no neck" thing and all.

Third, if you hadn't already discovered it, he was a spider.

A few seconds passed with no words or sounds at all, his mother was silently looking at her hundreds of sons and daughters, and before Sam knew it, his mother was eating a group of his brothers, seeing as they couldn't move because they were just born, it could be considered a genocide. Sam, could only silently crawl away using his two front legs to hoist him up, and then move down in a worm-like fashion, after a minute of crawling, and sounds of bones snapping. He reached a small hole in the cavern, just big enough to fit him, as soon as he fell to the bottom of it (which only dropped him about 12 feet) his mother started violently running towards him, trying to dig to make the hole bigger so she could eat him.

If Sam was able to piss himself, he probably would've done it then and there, he could only watch as his mother failed to make it larger, after a while of scraping and screeching from her, she stopped and just stared at him, narrowing her eyes and dropping a bit of drool from her mouth that landed on Sam, drowning him a bit. She then made a noise that sounded like a bag of chips getting crunched up, then walked away.

"Well that was something" Sam thought.
