I ran down the road, laughing almost insanely as the older boy chased me. "Catch me if you can, Ty!" I shouted over my shoulder.

"Don't do dis!" came his response. "Why you do dis Rose?"

"Because! It's fun!" I giggled. "Race ya to the castle gates!"

"Rose, wait!" Ty shouted back as I stopped in front of the gates, my eyes landing on General Sky. I shrank back from the gates after he noticed me staring. "I'm sorry, Sky. She gets carried away sometimes." Ty apologized for me.

"It's fine, Ty. Just don't let it happen again." General Sky replied, walking away. "Also, meeting in five minutes!" he called over his shoulder. Ty nodded, and turned to me.

"Rose, I need you to go home now." he whispered. I nodded and gave him a hug.

"I'm sorry...big brother. It won't happen again." I replied, and then I ran home as I had been told. Before I got there, however, a blue arm hit the back of my head and I fell to the ground, the world turning dark.
