Mika POV:

Matt is snatched up by the fangirl. I see Leon scream something and he starts climbing from her skirt, pulling out a few strands of fabric.

"Hang on, Leon!" Koneko cries out. "You too, Matt!"

I look up, and Matt screams.

Leon POV:

I see Matt, gripped by the monster. I balance on my sword, and scream "Don't leave me!"

I am halfway up her dress when he screams back "I won't!" He pound on her fist, but the fangirl doesn't flinch. She pulls him closer to her mouth.

A 7 meter fangirl isn't too tall. I soon wrap my fist around the neckline and drive the sword into the back of her neck. She screams as I pull my weight down.

As I reach the bottom seam, she falls to the ground, dress falling off. Her blue hair is quickly on a withered body. Through the steam, Matt runs to me.

"Matt! You're oka-"

He hugs me.

Yuki POV:

The boys seem to be enjoying their reunion. I almost crack a smile.

Almost.

Suddenly, a man and a woman run up, wearing red cloaks. On the back is the image of two feathery wings, one black and one white. The white feathers overlap some of the black where they cross.

"Children! We are soldiers of the Peecgard league." They cover their hearts with their fists. Then the woman speaks up. "We are here to sa-" then she notices the grey ash with blue hair. "Y-you destroyed her cosplay."

"She's dead!" Remarks the man.

They exchange a glance, then speak in unison again. "We invite you to join the Seary Corps."
We all agree, and the soldiers tell us to keep up, then they run.

I keep pace with the woman. Mika is ahead of the two soldiers. She seems to be humming something in German.

Koneko runs on all fours, right beside the slightly-slower man.

Matt and Leon smile at each other as though they are racing. They run side-by-side.

I search, but can't find Michael. Actually, I hadn't seen him during the battle. Then I look up. He is running along rooftops at the same pace as I. He must have climbed up there during the battle.
Soon, the soldiers stop. Mika realizes later than everyone else, running into a
wall. Koneko stands up and giggles.

We are at the training facility.
