This is my reply to a student who believed in old earth geology, evolution, the big bang, etc.:

"I believe God created the universe with His Word; no need for a big bang whatsoever since God's Word is all that is necessary(Genesis 1:3). I believe in six literal days because God made such a point of saying 'and there was morning and there was evening' for each day of creation(Genesis 1:5,8,13,19,23,31). I believe the world was created as an even more united (as in even the plates) Pangaea that was destroyed in the flood(Genesis 1:10; 7:11). I also believe that the flood was so destructive that is utterly devastated and made the world appear more aged than it was (in fact, God might have made it look more aged than it was just as He created Adam and Eve as adults). I'm not quite sure what limited evolution is, but I believe in micro-evolution [adaptation within the boundaries of one's genome; aka going from wolf to German Shepherd, a visible phenomenon and scientific law)- but not macro-evolution(adaptation outside of the boundaries of one's genome; aka, going from a dog to a cat, something no one has ever seen and a hypothesis without evidence) (Genesis 1:21; 24). And I believe that God's grace is in control; not 'the survival of the fittest' (though, in this fallen world, such savageness is at play).

That is what I believe and why I believe and I know what you believe. Please give me more reasons you believe."

Several other Creationists replied with their own arguments, both scientific and theological (it was a Christian college), and then a 'special' person came on and without attempting to challenge or refute a single argument merely said Creationism had no evidence. This is my reply to that person, God bless them:

"What evidence do you want? The Holy Bible? The fact that our magnetic field is decaying at such a rapid pace that there is no way that it could have survived for millions of years? The fact that the very material used to find carbon dates couldn't haven't lasted as long as those dates suggest? The fact that we can still find skin and other delicate parts on some fossils even though there is no way that could have lasted millions of years? The fact that there are areas where entire herds- young herds at that- of dinosaurs are buried together at once (like a flood swept over them suddenly)? The fact that the 'dead dinosaur posture' looks similar to the spazzing done when creatures today drown? The fact that we have fossils of animals in the middle of eating each other (another proof for a sudden destructive flood). The fact that our own science book admits that one of the two special conditions necessary for fossilizing is "rapid burial"- a condition the flood can give easily... The list goes on and on."
