the big green dude

I still haven't watched Ant-Man and
Wasp :(  but I got a marvel shirt :)

Today's talk: Bruce Banner and Hulk

We watched Thor Ragnarok and we saw Bruce saying he can't risk turning into the Hulk again because the green dude is gaining control and the last time he had taken over for TWO YEARS but he turns to him anyway.

And then, all of a sudden, Hulk decides to go! He fights with Thanos (and Loki says "We have a Hulk" and the whole theatre cries) and loses and disappears. Many people say he was ashamed he lost and decided to go. But seriously? That's the explanation? Marvel owes us something better.

Apart from that, how does the Hulk thing work? Bruce was poisoned from gamma radiation while experimenting but in Thor Ragnarok it appears as if Hulk is a person, a being anyway, who takes over when Bruce's heart rhythm is fast enough. I thought his cells were changing when that happened but Hulk might be someone who could be extracted and live on his own. Maybe.

These are my initial thoughts. Now, after some research, I found out about Professor Hulk. In a nutshell, Professor Hulk is Bruce and Hulk combined since they had to reach to some short of agreement due to their constant fights.

Hulk was angry because he was always taken for granted. He even turned back only after Bruce fell on the bridge in Ragnarok to show his distaste, but since he has a mind of his own, he came because he wanted to save the Asgardians. He is a being usually trapped in Bruce Banner and wants to have full control.

But Banner deserves the control of his body too. While I suggested separating them, Marvel has other plans: merging them. They become one. Like cojoined twins. It kind of freaks me out, staring your body with someone  else. There's even a grey Hulk in the comics! And the idea of merging was being foreshadowed since Thor Ragnarok. Maybe even Incredible Hulk since separating them didn't work.

By the way, shoutout to StevenSteel . I first was freaked out by the idea of many souls in one body in his book, Someone's in my head.

Anyway, as much as I'd like Bruce Banner and Hulk to live peacefully in different bodies and Loki to be alive, Marvel won't grand my wishes.

Also, as much as I ship Bruce and Natasha, where's Betty Ross? You can't  just discard a character!
