Dan's body fell to the ground, hitting a few branches on the way down. He groaned in pain as he lay on the ground.

"Holy shit! Dan!" Kellie ran over to him.

"Woah... Am I dead?" He asked quietly,"Everything hurts..."

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock. You just fell like fifty feet." Kellie stated the obvious.

Veronica began phoning an ambulance as Tom carefully made his way down the tree.

"Do you feel like you've broke anything?" Kellie asked, bending down so she was on her knees to help Dan until the ambulance came.

"I can't feel my arm..." Dan said, trying to sit up.

"Lie your ass down!" Tom demanded, kneeling at his brother's side.

"How long will it be for the ambulance?" Kellie asked.

"We're not that far from the hospital, so about ten minutes." Veronica said before kneeling down as well.

"Tommy... I'm scared..." Dan admitted his ears and tail dropping, using the arm that wasn't broken to reach out for Tom's hand.

Tom held his brothers hand. "It'll be okay. You'll be fine, you won't die." Tom assured his younger brother.

"That's not why I'm scared..." Dan whispered.

"Then why are you scared?" Tom asked, nodding for the girls to go away so he could talk. And they did.

"I don't like hospitals... I don't like staying overnight alone..." Dan informed him, tearily.

"Hey.." Tom wiped a tear away from his cheek. "I can stay the night, even get one of the girls if they wanted."

"Thanks bro..." Dan said quietly, snuggling closer to Tom.

"The ambulance is here!" Kellie called to the brothers.

"Do you think you can walk?" Tom asked, needing to know if they'll need a stretcher.

"I can't feel my legs. Does that answer your question?" Dan joked, looking over to Kellie,"Make sure he doesn't fuck up while I'm gone."

"I will." Kellie said with a chuckle, before saying the the Paramedics that they would need a stretcher.

"If you weren't already hurt, I'd punch you." Tom said, standing up but not leaving his brothers side.

"You know you love me!" Dan joked as he was lifted onto the stretcher.

"I'm forced to! You're family." Tom said with a laugh as he followed the Paramedics towards the ambulance. "We'll be right behind ya, okay bud?"

"Ok..." Dan used his alright hand to wave as the doors shut.

"Come on! To my car!" Veronica yelled running back to cafe's car park.

Kellie groaned before running with Tom. "This is the only time I'll voluntarily run!" She said.

Once they reached the car, Veronica jumped in, pushed the keys in and started up the engine.

"Hey, I've got a request from Dan.." Tom spoke up as he put his seatbelt on.

Kellie hummed in response.

"He's... Scared to be in the hospital alone. Is it alright if we take turns staying with him?" Tom asked, looking at the girls in the front seats.

Kellie nodded. "I'm fine with that. I'll just need to text my dad to tell her." She said taking her phone out.

"Yeah, I understand his condition. I'd be scared too.." Veronica admitted as she drove.

"You're dad is like the most accepting person, you'll probably be fine." Tom said, playing with his fingers.

Kellie reached her hand behind the seat to confront Tom. "What do you think your dad will do when he finds out?"

"Yo, he's out at sea. He won't find out until next year."Tom explained,"My mum will probably shout at both of us for being reckless and then make us dinner... Aw shoot! I still need to tell her!"

"Do you want to call her now or at the hospital?" Veronica asked.

Tom pulled out his phone,"Wish me luck guys."

Veronica mouthed. 'Good luck' before looking back at the road.

Tom dialed his mum's number into the phone and placed it to his ear. He greeted her before breaking the news. Kellie turned around before turning straight back to face the road as she heard Tom's mum shouting down the line.

Veronica looked at Kellie and mouthed the words. 'Oooo she mad.' She looked back at the road.

A few minutes later, the phone call was over and Tom put his phone in his pocket.

"Well, I think I've gone deaf..." Tom said, leaning back in his seat.

"I think we all did slightly." Kellie said with a chuckle. "What did she say?"

"Something about no more climbing big trees, we're both stupid boys and she'll meet us at the hospital." Tom summarized the call.

"Pretty accurate. Especially the stupid." Veronica said, pulling up to the hospital. "What's the time?"

Tom gasped and put his hand on his heart,"Dang bitch! How dare you!"

"It's 2:30." Kellie said, looking at her watch.

"Visiting hours are still on, we're good just to head in, ask where Dan is and go see him." Veronica said as she parked the car.

They all unbuckled their seatbelts and walked towards the door where they were greeted by an angry middle-aged woman.

"Mrs Holland! How have you been?" Kellie said, trying to lift the mood.

Tom was right beside Kellie, with a smile.

"Oh Kellie! It's so great to see you!" Mrs Holland smiled before grabbing Tom's ear,"As for you, young man!"

"Ow, mum!" Tom yelled, holding onto his ear as Veronica chuckled.

"What have I told you boys about climbing that tree?" Mrs Holland shouted,"Your not Spiderman!"

"Look, I said I'm sorry many times! Now will you let go? You have a death grip!" Tom yelled back at his mother.

Mrs Holland let go of his ear and sighed,"I'm sorry Tom, I'm just worried."

"I know. But Dan is a strong kid, he'll be fine." Tom assured his mother.

"You're right." Mrs Holland agreed, walking to the toilets.

During that conversation, Kellie and Veronica had went up to the front desk and asked where Dan was.

Tom walked over to the girls. "What floor is he on?" He asked.

Veronica began to run up the stairs as Kellie turned to Tom,"He's on the third floor. Me and V were going to race. Jokes on her, I'm not going to try!"

Tom chuckled. "Of course you wouldn't." He hugged her. "I'm glad you're here."

"Even if I wasn't there when it happened I would've asked Dad to drive me here." Kellie told him as she began walking up the stairs.

Tom nodded and followed her. A minute later, Kellie's phone rang. Kellie picked up the phone.

"Kellie I have a serious question." Kasey said in a stern tone.

"This question would be?" Kellie asked, confused that Kasey was calling her.

"Okay, so... Do I look good in yellow?! I got an amazing top and I'm wearing it, maybe the only time! But Katie says it does not look good on me!" Kasey explained.

"..." Kellie paused before yelling down the line,"I'm at the hospital because my friend fell out of a tree and your question is that you look good in yellow?! By the way, you look good in yellow... But still!!"

"Yes, that is my question! This is a once in a lifetime experience for everyone! Its ver-  Katie, put down the fucking banana or I swear!" Kasey yelled.

Tom watched on in silence as his girlfriend continued to yell at her crazy sister on the phone.

"Katie." Kellie said sternly,"Put down the banana!"

"She looks exactly like this banana! I'm telling you Kellie! Its fucking hilarious!" Katie yelled through her laughs.

"Well, as funny as she may look, I need to make sure Dan isn't dead. Ok. Love you bye!" Kellie said quickly, hanging up the phone.

Tom looked at Kellie confused. "What the fuck was going on?" He asked, only hearing one side of the conversation.

"Kasey asking if she looked good in yellow as Katie mocked her, basically." Kellie explained before walking into Dan's room.

"Yo, sup dudes! What took you guys so long?" Dan asked and Veronica looked at them.

"Long story short, my crazy sister's called and I walked upstairs, I've ran too much today." Kellie summarized, walking over to Dan's bed.

Veronica chuckled. "You need to get out more Kel." She told her.

"Says the girl who refused to leave her room for a week because her boyfriend ate her cookie!" Kellie teased before adding,"Nice cast by the way!"

Veronica grumbled in response.

"Thank you Kellie, at least someone likes it." Dan said with a smile.

"I'm signing it!" Tom announced, taking out a marker from his pocket.

"Where'd you get that from?" Dan asked, holding his cast out for Tom.

"That's for me to know.. And you to worry about." Tom said as he signed his cast.

"Isn't the saying 'That's for me to know and you to find out'?" Dan asked, looking up at Tom.

Tom shook his head. "No, you can worry about where I got it from." He finished signing the cast.

Dan lied back in his bed, his ears and tail perking up,"Just a few days."

Veronica stood up and grabbed the marker from Tom,"Thank you very much!" Before signing Dan's cast.

Kellie waited for her turn to sign it. "Has your mum seen you yet?"

"She's been. She's scary." Dan said quickly.

"Tell me about it. I swear shes going to rip my ear off one of these days." Tom said, sitting down in the chair next to Dan.

"I mean, you'd be a pretty cool actor then, wouldn't you?" Dan asked, leaning towards Tom.

"Yeah, totally. All the fan girls will call me Tom ripped ear Holland." He said rolling his eyes.

Dan and Kellie began laughing.

"Tom! Remember the Second Year Halloween Dance?" Veronica asked.

Tom thought about it for a second. "Uh.. no? Why?" Out of all the things, he didn't remember this.

Dan tried to hold back his laughs as he said,"You can explain this one Kellie!"

Veronica was staring at him,"I'm surprised. It was so humiliating! I thought you'd remember it!"

Kellie stopped laughing to explain. "So it was the Halloween dance, we all had decided we'd go as the teletubbies. But V and Dan told me to change into something else. We told you that we'd meet you inside, so here we three are. Talking, laughing.. Until you come bursting through the assembly hall door dressed.. In a TinkyWinky teletubby outfit!" Kellie started laughing again. "The whole year group and teachers couldn't help but not laugh!"

Tom was silent, not saying anything.

"Guys... Maybe we broke him by bringing back all the repressed memories." Dan said quietly as his older brother stared at the wall.

Kellie poked Tom a couple of times. "Uh..."

"THAT'S WHERE THAT OUTFIT IN MY WARDROBE CAME FROM?!" Tom screeched.

"Yes! Do you think I would let you get rid of it?!" Dan laughed.

"ALL THE PHOTOS!" Tom yelled defeated, throwing his hands up in the air.

Veronica started giggling as she went on her phone.

"Are you doing what you think you're doing?" Kellie asked, which she got a nod in return.

"Replying to my Dad. He said I need to come home soon because he needs to go to work soon and he only has one key. Also here are the pictures!" Veronica yelled, showing her phone to the group who laughed at Tom's humiliation.

Tom attempted to grab the phone off of Veronica, not wanting to be embarrassed.

Veronica held it just out of Tom's reach,"Nu uh! No grabbing Mr Holland"

"I swear Veronica. Just stop showing the photos! Or I'll get ones of you!" Tom threatened.

"Which ones?" Veronica asked,"I've had so many embarrassing pictures of me, I don't care that much anymore unless... Oh God! You have THEM don't you?!"

Tom nodded with a smirk. "Don't test me Veronica Laurens."

"Tom, don't!" Veronica demanded, grabbing Tom's collar from across Dan's bed.

"I feel extremely uncomfortable." Dan stated, ducking down, out of the of his friend and brother.

Kellie backed up into the wall. "Same here."

"Would you like to continue showing my pictures?" Tom asked, raising a brow.

"Not really." Veronica said, letting Tom go.

Tom nodded with a smile before sitting back down. "We're good!"

"We're good!" Veronica repeated, sitting down and playing games on her phone.

Kellie looked at the two. "What the- I'm not even going to mention it."

"Nope." Dan agreed.

All of a sudden, there was a buzz on the intercom,"Zzzt... Visit hours end in 15 minutes, say your goodbyes now...Zzzt"

"Fuck." Tom said. "I'll stay here tonight. Is that okay with everyone?"

Dan agreed straight away.

"Makes sense. I'll take tomorrow." Veronica said standing up.

"That leaves me with you last!" Kellie stated, pointing fingers guns at Dan as she left,"Bye Danny!"

"None of you die while I'm in here!" Dan shouted as the girls left the room.

"We promise that we won't!" Kellie shouted back.
