I messed around again.

WARNING: Dark!Nightwing, Bad Language (Not from Jason!)[I know, a surprise!], Character Death, Murder  

"Cheshire. What are you doing?" Red Arrow asked, bow and arrow pointed at a Cheshire, who was currently breaking into the museum.  

"Listen, Reddie. I know this isn't my usual M.O., but I really need something in there. And in the long run, it will help you and your little hero friends." Jade said.

"How so? And what is it?" Roy demanded to know.

"It's called the Jaded Necklace. I was hired to steal it, so that the one who hired me can destroy it. This necklace, whoever it is put on, becomes evil." Cheshire said.

"How do I know you aren't lying?" Roy asked, not letting the bow and arrow down.

"Roy, I need to steal this. I've seen it in work. And some bad men have found out how to use it. Roy, please. Help me." Jade said, completely serious. 

 But her eyes held something else.

Roy recognized it immediately.

Fear.

Whoever knew about this necklace was a serious threat if Jade was fearful.

"Let's get it." Roy said.

Then all hell broke loose.

An alarm in the museum sounded.

They both looked at each other before running to the case that held the Jaded Necklace. 

It was gone.

Recognized: Red Arrow B-06, Guest Authorized B-06. 

Red Arrow and Cheshire stepped out of the Zeta-Tubes into the main room of the Watch Tower.

"We have an emergency." Roy said.

"So, this Jaded Necklace turns anyone evil?" Kid Flash, Wally, asked.

"Yes." Jade and Roy answered together.

"And we're just supposed to trust her?" Vixen snarled, looking at Jade.

"Listen, I know I'm not always on the right side of the law, but you have to trust me on this. The Justice League has many powerful people that I wouldn't want to see go dark." Cheshire said.

"She's got a point." Flash, Barry Allen, said.

"Been there, done that. Wouldn't like to repeat." Artemis said.

"Agreed." Wally nodded.

"One Savage-controlled Justice League was one enough." Rocket said.

Many of the Justice League agreed.

"Are we sure we can trust her?" Superman whispered to Batman.

"If there is a threat, we have to. But if I find one discrepancy, Cheshire..." Batman trailed off, letting her fill in the blanks.

"Why would I lie about a threat like this?" Cheshire questioned fiercely. 

To busy us. Tell me, why would you lie about this?" Question questioned.

"I have no reason to. I'm being honest here. Look at that necklace. Just know that if put on the right person, the whole world will be gone." Jade said.

"I think I've helped enough. I'm gone." Jade walked to the Zeta Tubes.

Recognized: Authorized Guest B-06

"Let's find this thing." Flash said, cracking his knuckles.

"The Jaded Necklace. A necklace made out of magical silver with a giant Jade gem as the center piece. The magic travels through the gem, through the silver, and onto the wearer's skin. Tonight, my men. We activate it. Then tomorrow, we burn the world!" the man in a cape manically laughed.

The men around him yelled in triumph.

"Let the ceremony begin." the caped one said, holding the necklace up.

"How do we find a necklace that could be anywhere in the world by now?" Rocket asked.

"Let me see a picture." Dr. Fate said.

Superman brought up a picture of the necklace and a map of the world.

"Etacol." Dr. Fate said.

Several dots popped up, all localized in one area.

"Well, that can't be good." Flash said.

"What is going on here?" Red Arrow asked as they Zeta'd to the location.

Several people were in an abandoned warehouse, one holding up the necklace.

"It has chosen my brothers! And our chosen shall be here soon!" the caped one yelled out.

"Not creepy at all." Zantanna rolled her eyes.

"Says the witch girl." Beast Boy smirked.

Blue Beetle gave a short chuckle.

Zantanna lightly glared at them before going back to the men.

Who were now gone.

"That's not good." Flash said.

"FIGHT!" Someone screamed and the men showed back up.

"Awwee. They think they can win. That's cute." Artemis smirked, pulling out her bow and arrow.

"Gesh, Arty." Wally smirked.

"Get a room!" Nightwing yelled before flipping into the fight.

Beast Boy and Impulse made gagging noises. 

"Let's take these clown down." Vixen growled.

"He is here!" the caped man yelled.

"Shut up already!" Nightwing went in for a punch, only to get a punch in the throat from the caped guy.

He didn't notice the click of the necklace going on. 

"It is done!" The caped one yelled.

The men and caped one started retreating. 

A few of the men were caught, but most got away.

"You okay, Nightwing?" Artemis asked.

"Yeah, just punched in the throat." Nightwing said, standing up.

He took his hand from his throat.

Everyone gasped.

"What?" Nightwing asked, "Is there a bad bruise?!"

"How did this happen?" Batman growled.

"Sorry! I was punched in the throat!" Nightwing frowned.

"Why isn't he evil though?" Vixen asked.

"Maybe he already is!" Wally joked.

Everyone rolled his eyes.

"If he's evil, then what are our villains?" Aquaman asked.

"Stupid." Wally said.

Nightwing chuckled at that.

 Everyone looked at him.

"Hey! It was funny, not evil!" Nightwing said.

"Great. Why isn't the necklace working?" Green Lantern, John Stewart, asked.

"We should do tests until something happens." Suggested Stargirl.

"Hey, woah! No." Nightwing said, frowning.

It all went fine until an alert that Blockbuster was terrorizing Bludhaven popped up.

"Where is that ungrateful fuck?" Nightwing hissed.

The Jaded Necklace started glowing a bright green.

Soon, Nightwing's body was covered in a dark green mist, making him look deranged and angry.

"It only activates when the user is angry." Martian ManHunter said.

"Great. One angry Nightwing is hard enough to calm down. But now we have a super-powered angry Nightwing." Wally said.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way." Nightwing hissed at Superman.

The glowing intensified.

"Nightwing, I don't know what Blockbuster did, but you can't go after him." Superman crossed his arms.

Nightwing's eyes widened before narrowing.

His lips curled into a snarl.

The Necklace created claws on Nightwing's fingertips. 

An angry, dark aura filled the room.

They couldn't hold Nightwing.

Before the night was over, Blockbuster was dead.

All anyone saw was a dark green light.
