MAIN HOUSE

Red flowers scattered everywhere in the garden. Mainly roses sprouting neatly on the bed of healthy green grass. Very well groomed and maintained if I may add; earning the name 'Red Orchard'.

It was one of the many gardens that decorated the vast land of the Dragneel Compound, the territory of no other than the much acknowledged Japanese Family.

And at the very moment, two children played along with the flowers around them. Both at the young age of three.

One was a girl with pitch black hair...

And the other, a boy with salmon-pink hair; with long eyelashes surrounding his brown eyes.

As they continued to play, a green-eyed woman approached them; Mavis Vermillion.

"Diva!" She called out to the little girl, her little girl.

Hearing her mother's voice, Diva ran up to her with a bright smile. Mavis picked her up as she kissed her cheek.

When she turned back to look at the other child, he was no longer there.

"Where's your cousin?" Mavis spoke.

Well, it has been known that he could be quite troublesome at times.

Lucy opened the door to the main house's nursery room. Ever since the Family 'expanded', Natsu made some renovations around the place.

"Hello, Lucy," Mirajane greeted as soon as she entered.

She was watching her son, Gin, play with Lego on the carpeted floor. His hair was silver just like hers.

"It's livelier around here ever since these little troublemakers started popping out huh?" Lucy joked.

"I couldn't agree more," Gajeel said, chuckling as he turned his head to Levy who was holding their newborn.

"Well, there will be a new one soon enough," Juvia added, smiling dreamily as she touched her bulging belly. She was pregnant.

"Don't forget, Erza and Jellal are on a honeymoon right now. There will be more of us before you know it," Gray chuckled.

Lucy sighed at the thought of how quickly three years passed by ever since the Nura incident.

"You're probably looking for Natsu, right?" Laxus was in the room as well.

Lucy just gave him a smile, a sign that meant 'Yes'.

"He's in his office. Discussing with a 'friend' from China," he said.

"Another one?" Lucy had an amused look on her face.

"Yep" They all answered in chorus.

.

.

As Lucy neared the door to her husband's office, she could hear their voices beyond the wall as they conversed.

"You're asking me to eliminate all your enemies for you?" Natsu started.

"Yes", a voice of an old man answered.

"And why would I do that? What's in it for me?"

"In return for your help, I will offer my family's service to the Dragneels for eternity"

"I've been getting offers like that lately...and lately I've been giving the same answer, NO."

She could tell that Natsu was getting tired of all these 'favors'.

"You have the power. In a flick of your finger you can destroy whatever you want. So please, help me," the oldman's voice sounded so helpless.

"I can't. I will not involve my Family in some petty fight you've gotten yourself into. Fight your own fight. That is not my problem."

"But-"

Before the old man could say another word, Lucy opened the door, a smile on her face.

The men's attention turned to her. Both of them were standing the entire time.

"Natsu, you shouldn't keep our guest standing. Please, have a seat" Lucy started as she stood beside her Don.

But the Chinaman ignored her offer like she didn't matter at all.

This got Natsu pissed off. Lucy saw this, it was written in his cold eyes.

"Can I get you something to drink?" She offered again, still keeping her smile.

But then again, he still ignored her.

"She just asked you a question."

Now Natsu spoke up. His voice matching the seriousness of his face.

It took seconds before the old man answered. More like forced to answer.

"No. I do not want your fucking drink," he said as he gave her a glance.

Natsu wasn't in the mood to snap, but this man was clearly testing his patience.

"Watch your mouth. Do you have any idea who she is?" He said. His voice mixed with suppressed anger.

"Of course I do," The man started, "The Chinese, the English, the French...everybody involved with the mafia knows who she is. Lucy Heartfilia Dragneel. The LadyWife of the Japanese Family-"

"Then treat her with respect," Natsu interjected.

"I would love to. But the way you rejected to offer me your help, forgive me but I am not in the attitude to treat anyone with such admiration at the moment."

Sensing that the conversation was getting heated, Lucy tried to ease the tension. Even if she was also getting irritated.

"You were 'asking' for our help, not 'demanding' for it. We have the right to choose whether to reject or not," she calmly said.

"Just because you happen to be the strongest Family doesn't mean you can treat us weaker ones with disrespect!" Now the old man snapped.

"I never treated any one of you in such a manner," Natsu countered with an unfazed demeanor.

"Oh please! You and your pathetic excuse of not involving your family into any fight. That is bullshit!"

The instant the man raised his voice, Lucy started to lose her cool. One more downgrading word from this guy and she'll-

"A pathetic excuse of a coward like you! A selfish coward, Natsu Dragneel!"

And that was it.

Lucy grabbed Natsu's gun tucked on his lower back and aimed it on the oldman's head. She was fast.

Where do you think she learned it from?

"Do not ever talk to my husband that way. Or I will shoot you."

Her eyes were dead serious.

The oldman wasn't expecting that. He turned to Natsu as if asking for help.

He just smirked and placed his hand over hers, slowly pointing the gun down to the floor.

"You're scaring our guest, Lucy," Natsu said to calm her down. Then he turned to the man in front of them, "Get out of my sight."

Not planning to lose his life yet, the Chinaman murmured complaints as he walked out of the office.

After the door closed and the two of them were left for privacy, Natsu took the gun from her delicate hands and put it back where it belonged.

"Leave the killing to me, baby," he said as he turned her body around and kissed her forehead.

He could tell she was still a little tense.

She sighed.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" he asked.

"For not being able to keep my anger in. How do you do that? Masking your emotions so perfectly..."

He could only smile as he cupped her face.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

He then started to lean in and kiss her.

But just then, the door slowly opened, getting both their attention.

They looked at the small figure standing by the door.

It was the same boy from before.

The same salmon pink hair as Natsu's.

Lucy gave a heartwarming smile as she stretched her arms outwards as if welcoming the child into her embrace,

"Come here, darling."

The boy brightened up as he ran to her.

Lucy held him up in her arms. He was laughing. Not for long, his attention turned to Natsu who was staring at them with a pleased smile.

"Father," his gentle voice sounded.

Hearing this, Lucy gave him to Natsu who gladly recevied the boy.

Their baby boy.

Their treasure.

Their Heir.

As he held him effortlessly and securely in his firm arms, Lucy watched with content eyes at the two sets of pink hair in front of her.

"Well," Natsu started as he stared at two little brown orbs, just like his wife's,

"What mischief have you done this time,

Lucas?"
