Not-So-Secretive Cupids

A/N: This request is from LoveCarousel !!!

Kirstie watched Mitch draw in his notebook, a dreamy look on his face. She then tapped Scott's shoulder, who is innocently watching SpongeBob. Mitch then stood up and went upstairs to get something. Kirstie then widened her eyes and tapped Scott once more. When he didn't respond, she tapped harder.

"Scott," she spoke loudly, irritated that Scott still didn't answer. "Scott!"

When Scott didn't answer, Kirstie let out an exasperated sigh. She then got a pillow and was about to throw in it on Scott when the show went on a commercial. Scott then turned towards her with a smile on his face.

"Hey, what's u-why do you have a pillow?" Scott asked, tilting his head. Kirstie set it down, shrugging her shoulders. "I was watching a new SpongeBob episode. Anyways, what do you need?"

"Mitch's notebook," Kirstie responded. When Scott turned back to the television, Kirstie frowned. "Scoooottttt."

"No," Scott fought back. He turned the television off and turned to his sister. "It's his privacy. I don't want us to be those super annoying and nosy older siblings."

"I do," Kirstie rebutted. She stood up and was a few inches away from Scott when someone grabbed her legs. She quickly fell, landing on her elbows. "Ow! Scott! Let me go!"

"No!"

The two siblings began to fight. Kirstie tried to get out off Scott's grip, but he refused. He then sat on her, causing her to yell.

"Scott Richard Olusola, if you don't get off of me right now, I'll tell Dad and Papa what you did it Hawaii," Kirstie threatened.

"You wouldn't!"

"Oh, I would."

Scott then got off of her and held her back when she tried to get to the notebook. Kirstie then brought her elbow up and glared at her older brother.

"Let me go or I'll elbow you," Kirstie commanded, causing Scott down. Whenever Kirstie used that threat, Scott and Mitch know to stop. Her elbows hurt! "Thank you. Now let's see what he wrote."

Scott sighed heavily, shaking his head. Kirstie then picked up the notebook and widened her eyes. In the notebook, Mitch Coby Michael Wright was written multiple times. Travis has hearts around his name. Kirstie looked up at Scott, shaking slightly.

"Scott? Mitch has a crush on Travis Wright."

~~~
Scott noticed Travis talking to a few people. He then tiptoed to the boy and tapped his shoulder.
"Hey, Scott," Travis greeted. Scott nodded his hello, his smile brightening. "What's up?"
"My bro-I mean, friend, wants to go out with you," Scott answered, thanking God that he didn't say brother. "He has a crush on you."
"Oh, really?" Travis asked, nodding slowly. He waved goodbye to the people he was talking to earlier and looked back to Scott. "What's his name?"
"Mi-I mean," Scott replied, trying to think of a name. A name popped out of his mouth suddenly, sighing in relief. "Mikel, his name is Mikel."
"Interesting," Travis responded. "What time and where do you want us to meet?"
"My house at 6:30,"Scott answered, face palming mentally. He was supposed to say a name of a very nice restaurant.
Dang it, Scott! You had one job!
"Sounds good, I guess?" Travis observed, raising an eyebrow. "Hopefully I'll see Mitch there."
Scott nodded, hoping everything will work out. He sighed heavily, scolding himself slightly.
I messed up so terribly. Hopefully I didn't mess anything up.
~~~

"What do you mean you told him to go to our house?" Kirstie yelled, striking fear in Scott. "I'm going to kill you, Scott. You better hope you get to live to see Mirch date Travis."

Scott was about to speak for himself when a soft voice spoke up.

"What about Travis?" Mitch asked, smiling at his siblings. Kirstie's glare then turned into a smile. "Are you friends with him?"

"Not exactly," Kirstie murmured. She then turned towards Scott and shook her head. "He is coming here for, uh...uh..."

"A study session," Scott interrupted, smiling when he said it. If looks can kill, Kirstie just killed him multiple times. "He's going to study...with me...in our house...study session."

"Oh, okay," Mitch replied, blushing a bit. He nodded, looking towards Kirstie when she began to speak.

"You could help with it too. They're studying for a big test. Scott needs the most help," Kirstie began. "You are going to help."

"Okay," Mitch replied, his blush spreading across his face more. "Travis seems nice. I can't wait to work with him."

Kirstie nodded as Mitch went out of the room. She then turned towards Scott and glared angrily.

"I'm going to kill you!"

"No!"

~~~
Travis came up to the Olusola's house, knocking on it slightly. Scott opened it and smiled, noticing how Travis seemed to be dressed in formally causal way.
"Oh, snazzy," Scott commented, a smirk on his face. "Oh, Mikel is al-."
"Who's Mikel?" Mitch asked, walking to the door. When he saw Travis, his legs became wobbly. He looked at the ground shyly, his cheeks flushed. "Hi, Travis."
"Hey, Mitch," Travis responded, smiling at the young boy. Scott then let him in. "Where's Mikel?"
"Mikel?" Mitch asked, his confusion evident. "Mikel was Scott's fish in sixth grade."
Scott was about to defend for himself when Kirstie came running down the stairs.
"Oh, Mitch and Travis! You two are here...together...it's time to help Scott study," Kirstie commented lightly, raising an eyebrow when Mitch and Travis began to laugh. "Why are you laughing? I know Scott is idiotic, but this isn't a laughing matter!"
"Yeah! Hey," Scott whined, frowning slightly. "Why are you two laughing?"
"You two aren't that good at setting people together for a date," Travis pointed out. He then smiled at Mitch, rubbing his shoulder gently. "I do want to date him though."
"Really?" Mitch asked shyly, his smile lighting up the entire room. When Travis nodded, Mitch kissed his cheek quickly. "I want to date you. Let's go on that date."
Travis nodded and lead Mitch outside, taking him to the car. Mitch then turns back to the house, smirking at his siblings.
"Oh, and Kirstie?" Mitch called out, going into the car. When she nodded, Mitch smirked once more. "Next time, be more secretive about checking my journal. You're louder than a lawn mower."
Travis then drove off, leaving Scott and Kirstie behind. The oldest Olusola sibling looked down at Kirstie and smiled.
"We did a good jo-"
"Yeah, yeah," Kirstie commented, going upstairs. "We're not good matchmakers."
"No we're not, but we're good siblings!"
Kirstie shook her head, laughing a bit. At least her brother is with his crush. She did learn a lesson though.
Never let Scott set up a date alone.
A/N: I hope that this is funny, haha. Sorry if the ending seemed weird. Anyways, I hoped you enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all!
