Hello everyone it's me again. Last chapter you and Louise were greeted with the presence of the Princess of Tristan Princess Henrietta. Now let's get into this chapter.

POV: You

Part 1.

It was now the day of the exhibition. It was about noon and the exhibition was on its way. In open a court yard next to the court yard where I always found Katie was were the exhibition was being held. There was a huge stage with row after row of chairs for students to sit in with a small section for the 2nd year students. Princess Henrietta sat under a royal looking tent with 2 guards on each side outside the tent. The 2nd year student had to wait in a tent before showing off their familiars and sitting down in their seat. Mr. Colbert was on the stage as the MC.

"We will now begin the presentation of this year's new crop of familiars" he says.

{Time Skip}

My routine for the exhibition was after many of Louise's classmates' routines. From what Louis told me, we were after Tabitha. Tabitha was doing her routine right now, the students in the audience looked up to the sky and watched as Tabitha rode on her dragon. Me and Louise were standing at in the waiting tent next to the stage. I had Derflinger on my back as I stood next to Louise.. When tabitha's routine was finished the audience clapped and Mr. Colbert announced Tabitha's name and the name of her familiar.

"Your routine better be good" Louis tells me sternly.

"It is good, you don't need to worry about it" I tell her.

"I'll worry about if I want to" she says.

Then we hear Mr. Colbert.

"Next up is Ms. Louise Françoise le Blanc de La Vallière"

"Here we go then" Louise says with a worried tone.

We walk onto the stage and face the audience. Louise didn't look very fond of standing in front of everyone with me by her side, probably because of her reputation around school. Some people were clapping as we stood on stage including Princess Henrietta, then the clapping calmed down.

"Let me introduce him, this is my familiar, his name is (Y/n) (L/n). And his type is...." Louise said before trailing off.

"Go for it Louise the Zero" Malicorne shouts then the audience started to laugh.

Louise looked over to Princess Henrietta and she had a gentle smile on her face.

"His type is...It's a peasant alright" Louise shouts.

The entire audience then roars with laughter except the very few who knew what respect was even if social rank is involved. Louise looked at me with face a of sadness then looks back at the audience.

"A peasant isn't his type it's his social rank" a guy shouts.

"Just we would expect from Louise the Zero" another guy shouts.

POV: Louise

I listened as the audience laughed at me and said hurtful comments. I closed my eyes wanting all of this to be just a horrible dream.

"SILENCE!" I hear (Y/n) yell at the audience.

The audience quickly stops laughing. I open my eyes and see (Y/n) facing the audience, he was holding Derflinger in the stance of a royal knight or a king that fights for their country. The tip of Derflinger place was touching the stage as his hands were laying on top of the handle end. He looked at the audience with hidden disgust.

"Now that your quiet I will start" He says before getting into a fighting stance. He then looks at me "if you could Louise can you stand to the side for me" he says with a small smile.

I nod and walked to the side of the stage while still being visible to the audience.(Y/n) closes his eyes then starts to swing Derflinger around, he did it with strength but I could tell he want putting much strength into it. As I watched him it looked like he was trying to be elegant also. He wasn't just showing moves of strength but also moves of technique. When he went to finish his routine he gripped the handle of Derflinger and slammed the sword into the stage creating a light gust of wind. It felt like the wind went through me and my cloak flew behind me. The same thing happened to everyone in the audience, their cloaks flew behind them when the gust of wind hit them. The gust happened in a matter of seconds. I looked over to the Princess and she had a big smile on her face. I looked over at (Y/n) and he was in the same stance from before the routine. I looked at where the tip of Derflinger was and there wasn't even a single mark on the stage. They must of put a barrier on the stage so it doesn't get damaged. Mr. Colbert then walked on to the stage.

"And that was (Y/n) (L/n) with his master Louise" he says.

The audience was silent until the sound of one person clapping filled the air. I looked around to find the one person clapping. Then I saw that Princess Henrietta was the one clapping. Other people also looked around to find the one person clapping, when they saw that it was the princess they slowly started clapping. Before I knew it the entire audience was clapping either it was because they wanted to or they did it so they didn't get called out by others. I then looked over at Kirche and see was clapping as she fonded over (Y/n).

POV: You

I watched as the audience clapped. My routine did take a while to make but doing it wasn't that hard. It was quite plesent being able to release some anger.

"Looks like we won them over" Derflinger says.

" Most of them are using a facade, but some are being genuine" I tell him.

"But the Princess is definitely being the most genuine" Derflinger tells me.

I look over at the Princess and she was clapping as she had a smile in her face. I then put him back into his sheath. Louise then walked up to me and started pulling me off the stage by my arm.

"Louise why are you pulling me?" I ask.

"Because I don't want to watch as Kirche fonds over you" Louise tells me.

Once we got far enough away from the exhibition Louise let go of my arm. I followed her to where ever she was going. As we walked I could her a faint rumble, then there was the constant sound of something big hitting something. The sound grew louder and louder as we continued to walk. Then after walked through one of the arch ways in a wall we saw what I was hearing. It looked to be a huge earth golem.

"A g-golem" Louise says as she looks at it.

The golem was about half of the size of the main tower in the middle of the academy.

"Is this someone's over sized familiar or something else?" I question.

"No its not, it's a-" Louise stops when the golem steps down.

"Your luck has just run out" a female voice says.

We look up and one of the hands of the golem was heading strait at us.

"Look out" I say then pushed Louise out of the way then the golem picked me up in its hand.

"(Y/n)!" Louise yelled.

"Louise run" I shout at her.

She doesn't listen and stands up with her wand in her hands. She says a incantation but nothing happens. Then a explosion happens next to the main tower.

"Are you trying to kill me?" I tell her.

"It was a little mistake that's all" Louise shouts back.

"I'm wondering what part of that was a fire ball" the woman on the golem says.

"Let go of (Y/n) I'm serious this time" Louise shouts at the woman.

"In any case this is a lucky break, now golem" the woman says.

The golem then plus back it's left arm and punches the tower where Louise made the explosion. The woman then walked on the arm and inside, she grabbed a long looking wooden box from inside. The golem then retracts his hand from the building and the woman stood on top.

"I thank you for this" the woman says to Louise.

Then the golem dropped me from over 200 feet in the air. As I was bracing for impact but Tabitha catches me on her dragon just in time. I look at the golem and watch as it stepped over the outer wall of the Academy and walked away.

Part 2.

The sun was close to setting and me and Louise were in a court yard with all the other students that were at the exhibition.

"That was an enormous golem she was controlling, there's no doubt in my mind that she was a triangle class mage" Louise tells me.

"Well in any case I guess it's alright since we both survived" I say.

"That's not how things go" She shouts at me.

We then both heard the sound of people running. We look behind us to see Princess Henrietta running towards us with her guards following her.

"Thank goodness, I'm so glad your safe" Princess Henrietta says.

"Your highness, I'm terribly sorry but the palace treasure has been robbed" Louise says as she gets on to one knee.

I get down one knee also right next to Louise.

"There's absolutely nothing you could of done to stop her Louise Françoise" the princess says.

"Yes but-" Louise says before getting cut off.

"Your highness please hurry" one of Prencess Henrietta's guards says.

The Princess nods then turns to Louise "I have to leave now and make a full report on this entire incident to the palace,I will see you again in the very near future Louise and mister familiar"

{Time Skip}

Me, Louise and some other people watched as Princess Henrietta rode off in her carriage.

"I hope they don't hold the princess responsible for this" Louise says.

"Hold her responsible? Just because a thief broke in while she was here?" I question.

"I've been hearing bad rumors about what's been going on in the palace, though it does me no good to worry" Louise explains.

I look out to the sun set and asked Louise "Louise can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" She responded.

"When the golem caught me why didn't you escape to safety?, your safety is my top priority as your familer" I tell her.

"Your an idiot, a mage who for sakes their familer cannot call them self a real mage" she explains.

"That makes since in the end" I say "Now we should go eat it's almost time for dinner"

Louise nods and we start heading to the dining hall.

Part 3.

It's the next day and I'm with Louise in class due to it being study hall and not actual class. At the moment Kirche was trying to feed me fruit she had.

"Fine I'll try it" I tell Kirche.

"Here now say awe" she tells me as she raises the fork with some of the fruit in top.

I opened my mouth and she put the slice of fruit in my mouth. I chew the fruit then swollowed.

"Did you like it?" Kirche asks.

"Yeah, it was pretty good" I reply.

"I'm glad, this fruit is a specialty of Germania" Kirche says.

When Louise heard that she became furious and shouted at Kirche.

"Hey! Don't feed someone else's familiar"

"Ohh it's alright, we all get bored when we're stuck all the time in study hall. I mean the whole thief is giving them not time to hold classes. Their making it such a big deal. I heard a rumor that their going to try to blame the whole thing on Princess Henrietta" Kirche says. Louise gasps a bit then Kirche explains "The reason Fouquet was able to sneak in was that they pulled what few guards they had off the vault and sent them to guard the princess. On top of that I heard that Princess Henrietta decided to visit the institute in spite of all objections from her advisers"

"Ohh princess" Louise says to her self.

Then Mr.Colbert rushes through the door to the class.

"Ms. Vallière and Ms. Tabitha, come to the principal's office immediately" he calls out.

{Time Skip}

Me, Louise, Kirche, and Tabitha were in the principal's office with Mr. Osmond, Ms. Longuevile, Mr. Colbert, and some other mages. I stood behind Louise as Kirche, Louise, and Tabitha stood in front of me. Then Louise finally noticed that Kirche was with us.

"Hey why are you here?" Louise wisper shouts.

"I don't know, it sounded like fun" Kirche replies.

"After questioning several witnesses around town we have gathered credible information about a suspicious shadow that was seen entering and leaving a deserted shack deep in the woods this morning" Ms. Longuevile states.

"Very speedy work Ms. Longuevile, you are to be commended" Mr. Osmond tells Ms. Longuevile.

"With the testemonies I attempted to sketch out a picture of the shadow" Ms. Longuevile says then hands Mr. Osmond a rolled up paper.

He opens up the paper and shows it to us. We look closely at it and it looked exactly what we saw, too exact to not be suspicious of Ms. Longuevile.

"What do you think?" Mr. Osmond asks.

"This is Fouquet there's no doubt about it" Louise says and Tabitha nods.

The other mages made small comments on the sketch.

"We must report this incident to the palace at once. I will send a request along with it, we will ask the royal guards to go after her" Mr. Colbert suggests.

"If we waste time with those bureaucrats Fouquet will get away. We must retrieve the staff of destruction and capture Fouquet our selves if we're to regain the honey that was tarnished by that thief. Now raise your staff if your up for the challange" Mr. Osmond says.

Everyone looked at eachother deciding weather they should or not. Mr. Osmond looks around also.

"Is there none among you who wish to raise their fame by capturing Fouquet ?" He questions.

Louise then raises her wand "I will do it" she says shocking everyone including me.

"But Ms. Vallière" Mr. Colbert says.

"I will go too" Kirche says as she raises her wand.

"Zerbst?" Louise questions.

"Well I can't lose to a Vallière" Kirche says.

"Why can't you just-" Louise gets cut off by Kirche.

"Tabitha?"

Louise and Kirche looked at Tabitha as she raised her staff.

"You don't have to come, this is a problem between the two of us" Kirche tells Tabitha.

"I'm worried about both of you" Tabitha says.

"Tabitha"

"Ohh thank you Tabitha"

Kirche and Louise say.

"Well I'll leave it to the three of you then, these two have witnessed what Fouquet can do. On top of that Ms. Tabitha here is a chevalier kight, so talanted and so young in age" Mr. Osmond says.

"A knight!?"

"is that true Tabitha?"

Louise and Kirche question and Tabitha replies with a nod.

"Ms. Zerbst comes from a established military family in Germania, very old stock. And I'm told by someone reliable that her flame magic is of the very best quality" Mr. Osmond says and Kirche stands proudly.

"And Umm *cough* Ms. Vallière over here is the daughter of the well regarded Vallière family which has several excellent mages in the past and uhh well she has a very bright future and uh" Mr. Osman says while he sweats bullets. Then he figures out something "Ahh yes that's right I hear her familiar is a excellent swords man who overwhelmed Guiche de Gramont the son of the famous swordsman general Gramont" Mr. Osmond says.

"That's right, he uses the legendary gun-" Mr. Colbert says before stopping his words.

"The institute will be looking foward to your hard work,as well as your duties as nobles" Mr. Osmond say.

Ms. Longuevile then steps foward "Lord Osmond, I will serve as their guide if it is your wish"

"An excellent idea. Are you sure Ms. Longuevile?"

"I planned it from the start" she says with a smile.

"Is don't know what's more suspicious? The sketch she drew or what she just said. But all I know is that I don't have a very good feeling about what's going to happen next"
