'I am not sure about what he's planned for Earth.' I narrated. 'But I think its the virus.'
'Covid19?' Aspen enquired.
'Yes, but how does that weaken the Earth?' Ryan asked, puzzled.
'I have no idea, but we have to look into it. We can't turn a blind eye.' I replied.
'But remember Karishma, we cannot do much about it, magic on Earth isn't recommended.' Matilda said.
'I disagree.' Fayna snapped. I just nodded.
'We have to take that decision only when we're aware of the full situation.' Deisy suggested.
'But whatever be it, I believe humans should be given some powers. We can't risk Earth.' Fayna spoke, Cecila rightly agreeing to her.
'No, can't be.' Mat immediately added.
'But why so? The Etilet's aren't any different from those humans. Then why?' Cecila replied.
'Listen to me, it's not that easy.' I slowly spoke. There was instantly a debate on it, and the room filled with utmost noise. I went and talked to Matilda for a while, while Ryan tried to mediate, but he eventually got caught up. 'We shall discuss that later. There's another matter at hand. And I am against providing magic to all humans.'
'But then its--
'Enough.' The curtains nearest to us set ablaze. I held both Fayna and Cecila high in the air, chocked. My anger escalated pretty quickly. It had been twenty minutes, and everyone was fighting like cats and dogs. 'You know why all humans can't be bestowed upon with powers? DO YOU KNOW WHY?'
'Marvella.' Prakash started. I gave him a blazing glare.
'The arguments here, in this room, where are they leading, answer me!' I shouted. Everyone was well horrified.
'Kashi, I know you're angry, and you have every right to be. We had been wasting valuable time, and that's not the true spirit of warriors. But please, your anger is horrifying.'
I left them. The entire room heaved a sigh of relief at the same time. 'Humans are incapable of withstanding power, my dear acquaintances. They simply can't handle divinity, magic. Yes, there exist people like Savannah who really can process it, but the majority can't. After all, they're flesh and blood, I agree, but their brains? They can't take it. Only a section of them hold the willpower and the heart to accept magic and truly love it. We must let them fight on their own, but we'll surely assist them if the matter gets out of hand.'
'Agreed Riya.' Mr. Roy noted. 'Matilda will take it from here, as Riya and she has conversed about it already, while all of us were fighting like immature brats here.'
'So, Zachariah and Nathaira hold despicable power. All these years, they have grown their powers to a level where they might actually succeed in their agenda.' Matilda spoke. 'They intend on connecting with the space spirits so that they can weaken Marvella's power. I believe they're planning to take over both the worlds, Etis and Earth.'
'As we all know, the space spirits never really show their form, but if they do, by Universe's grace, they always provide a wish to the one who could impress them.' Deisy informed.
'And the last time that happened was when King Veer summoned them, and he asked for capabilities to regulate Etis and its peace, it's working.' Summer spoke. She had similar powers like mine, but she could only produce heat, and exclusively for seasons.
'We can't do anything to stop that, it's not possible.' Winter added. And then we discussed all sorts of possibilities.
'Right now, we can't do anything but try to summon the space spirits on our own front, which is extremely difficult, and I shall not do that. I have already done it once, ages ago, and repeating it might reduce our chances. As of now, I will let Varya and Matilda proceed with it. Matilda, what do you have in mind?'
'We all know the spirits don't act upon seeing what is good and bad, or fair or not. The only way we can summon them is by proving that we as Etilets are united as one.' Matilda replied. 'We, unfortunately, cannot do anything more. We'll try to work on our powers and prove we can use them righteously, but what we would need are sheer cooperation and unity.'
'How would they be able to impress them, then?' Mr. Roy asked.
'You see, on Earth and how Nature works, Eagles and Serpents are generational enemies. But since the beginning, Zachariah had indulged with Natha, which violated the laws of Nature. But now, Nathaira and Zachariah, by being allies, are trying to prove that both the animals can be at good terms. The spirits respect negotiation and friendship to a great extent, so as long as they portray that, I'm sure they'll be inclined to show them their true selves.' I narrated.
'But I personally feel it won't work out. I sense something even crueler than Zachariah in Nathaira.' Mr. Roy said.
'Even if that is, she's so manipulative that she'll be able to pull it off.' Deisy replied.
'We have no option but to now try our best to gain our wish.' I concluded. 'I and Ryan will check on Earth for some time, while we look after Etis from time to time. Mat, you're in charge of everything in my absence. Let's go back now. We all have skills to work upon.'
'But Queen we nee--
'Watch out!' Ryan slashed instantly with his sword. The eagle fell with a hard thud on the floor. And in no time, the room filled with them, each carrying a snake in their claws. We immediately fought them, but even I must agree, they were too many, and I couldn't surge all my powers as I did back in the school, because that came only at certain instances. We fought as much as we could. I saw Matilda and Aspen twisting them with creepers, Varya pulling off a small tornado, Ryan using both his eyes and sword, the Sisters using their elements and Prakash crashing them with waves.
The council was powerful.
