While heading back to my apartment because Ryan constantly nudged me about my whereabouts, which I didn't reveal, I got so lost in thoughts that I actually forgot to set the destination on my Zephad. (Yeah, you can do that. Travelling could never be any easier). I realized that when I actually found myself in the middle of a dense forest and it was nighttime. There were lights generally in forests too, both natural and man-made, but this part seemed to be very underdeveloped. I tried to set the GPS to my house, and then Ryan called for the hundredth time and I picked up.

'What?'

'What?' I asked.

'Where are you, Kashi? I've searched for you everywhere.'

'Did you check in Mumbai?'

'No, well you want me to?'

'No, I am planning to spend time with Dad and Prateek tonight. I don't know, they returned for some reason. They'll leave tomorrow so we gotta have some family time.' I had no idea why I lied. I was in the middle of a dark forest, yet I just said I won't be home.

'Cool. Bye.'

I went back to adjusting my GPS. I actually decided to go to Earth for some time. Just ignore everyone. And maybe I'd find Ayum somewhere. But then, my life seemed very similar to the victims in horror movies.

My Zephad malfunctioned. That never really happened in Etis. I checked my network, which went completely off. And it was dark. The ghost will strike at any moment. Prepare, Karishma, prepare.

There were really dangerous animals in Etis I heard, but the good thing was, they were friendly and generally could think much more than normal ones. So I wouldn't be eaten up by a tiger, the ecosystem didn't work like that here. A tiger only devoured a deer and small animals, not other creatures.

I was literally too lost to go anywhere. I was growing scared, but then it all felt like it was leading to something else. I decided to just camp there, and when the sun would rise the next day, I'd go. And there Karishma was, in the middle of the jungle, trying to sleep under the stars, literally.
