'Here's your latte.' I smiled as I handed out Deisy ma'am her order. I was in charge of the beverage counter, just like Ryan was. She seemed pretty normal then, and it was a relief because I would have otherwise felt terrible while I gave her order out. She thanked me as I gave a Doiye to a woman who came with her.

I had to work on my magic a lot, my instructor had reminded me. He also told me to stay chill because it was usually difficult to do it, but I was getting pretty anxious. I wanted to know what sort of 'magic' would I develop with my human flesh and bones. He also asked me to listen to a lot of Etis's music, which was music developed by the spirits and the inhabitants of the realms. It was supposed to increase magic flow, which in other words meant moral support.

After I finished my shift at Moonlit's by about nine at night, I called Ryan. We stayed busy and apart from each other most of the time in the day, so we generally called each other up to stay connected.

'Hey Kashi, what's up?'

'The chandelier?'

'Kashi! I mean what are you doing?'

'Oh yeah about that.' We had a good laugh. 'Just finished my shift and I'm coming over to your house, I want some food. I had ice cream for lunch.'

'Sure, I'm making sausage and ready to eat noodles, Wai Wai.' Wai Wai is basically an Indian brand of noodles which can be eaten just after crushing mixing the masala. Too ready to eat basically and Ryan smuggled stuff like this into Etis too often. Even Aspen and Mat had gotten a hang of Indian snacks.

'No. Make something like Chicken Tandoori or Pork Curry.'

'I don't feel like Kashi please no.'

'Fine, I'm gonna bring some. I'm picking up Aspen on the way. She is in Pentatox.'

'Cool, I'll ask Mat to come over.'

'Bye.'

'Bye'

'My stomach will always long for Ryan's Tandoori and Curry.' I ended in a dramatic, very very dramatic way. Ryan giggled as he cut the call and I did too. As I mentioned, I picked these delicacies up from Sharma's, which was one of the five Indian restaurants in Etis. I also met up with Aspen on the way.

All four of us had a good meal of stuff prepared by Ryan (very negligible) and stuff I brought from Sharma's.

The typical day was not so typical in Etis.
