"What did you do?"

Following a visit from the Soul World after completing his goal, Thanos stumbles back into reality with a shaken Thor staring staggeringly at the now burnt and damaged Infinity Gauntlet previously worn on the Titan's hand.

Thor asks with more anger, and urgency this time, "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

Thanos is extremely worn down from using all six Infinity Stones, and silently without truly noticing the God, the Titan teleports away in the same blue stormy cloud from earlier—Stormbreaker falling to the ground in Wakanda. 

Where it had previously been lodged in Thanos' chest.

Noticeably, not his head.

Detrimentally . . . not his head.

Steve, after returning to his senses and pulling himself up roughly, holds his aching side while looking around, and he is first confused, "Where'd he go?"

"Thor." He stresses, "Where did he go?"

The Avengers have lost this fight . . . and now, they must pay the price.

Bucky pays it first.

"Steve?" 

The best friend and old war buddy of one Steve Rogers turns into dust, body crumbling beneath and the Winter Soldier drops the gun he was holding in his hand.

Steve slowly walks over to where the remains of his friend lie, reaching down and grabbing fist full's of what was now just dust, and no blood... ash.

He looks back up to Thor, the God's expression both terrified and teary-eyed, doomed . . . they failed.

They failed.

King T'Challa finds Okoye quickly in the woods, extending a hand for her to take eagerly, "Up, General. Up!"

His last words are aptly accurate, "This is no place to die."

The Black Panther's body evaporates.

In Wakanda members of the Kingsguard, Dora Milaje, and Jabari Tribe all are picked clean when individuals start rapidly disappearing.

Upstairs in the lab it is scarily silent, the ones who previously occupied it are already gone, but one remains, and that is Ania Udaku.

The White Cat carefully treks towards the windows inside Sister Shuri's building, and upon witnessing the result of Thanos' snap, she is aware that something went wrong.

That ... they lost.

Ania did not think that was possible.

There are many things the Princess has trouble believing could be possible, one of them was Izitena dying . . . another was Baba dying . . . and finally, that she would die.

A strange sensation overcomes her as her fingers curl around the brown jacket she wears, and sucking in a large breath and holding it for what seems like an eternity, Ania breathes out peacefully amidst all the chaos, "Goodnight moon."

... and with that, her own body turns to ash.

Others are victims of this 'Snap', like Groot, whose last words are the same three words he only can permit but are the most meaningful in the translation, "I am Groot..." Dad?

Rocket Raccoon tries to grab hold of his friend but it's too late, and the sole Guardian expresses his remorse, "No... no. No. No! Groot! No."

But he's gone.

So is Wanda. Not only mentally but physically.

She kneels next to Vision's corpse and accepts her fate willingly, not feeling otherwise.

The sky rumbles and Sam tries to get up, but he can't.

He disappears as well.

Rhodey calls out to him, "SAM!"

Everything is lost, people are dusting...

Just who will be next?
