Y/n's Backstory

Y/n L/n. An American citizen and the illegitimate child of Raynare, a fallen angel. The exact date and birth of Y/n is unknown, as the one thing his true father knows is that he found him in a basket right in front of his house, with a note. Y/n's father, John Angevin, was a very successful businessman, and a child being randomly placed in front of him proved to be difficult, especially when he found through a DNA test that Y/n is in fact his son.

Y/n's father did manage to make do, and was able to hire a babysitter. However, behind closed doors, the babysitter wouldn't really care for Y/n, and would invite friends over without his father knowing, and have crazy parties, or even have sex. Y/n would cry constantly, trying to get someone to help him, but no one ever came.

Y/n's life did change, when his father married a Japanese woman when Y/n was only 5. He, along with his father and step-mother moved to Japan, thus officially making Y/n a Japanese citizen. Although Y/n's new mother, Hiromi Shiota, looked like the perfect mother, she was very strict with Y/n when his dad was at work. Due to Hiromi's strict childhood, she forced Y/n to do everything that she couldn't.

Y/n would try to go against Hiromi's rules, she burst into a loud fit of rage, even going so far as to hitting Y/n, and even got close to breaking bones. Over time, John did notice the changes in Y/n, with his hair growing longer, and wearing more feminine clothes. When he did ask Y/n, he was forced to lie and say that he started to like wearing girl clothes.

While life at home was bad for Y/n, his life at school was even worse. Almost the entire school picked on him, and the staff wouldn't do jack shit to stop them. The bullies would often call Y/n names, like freak, abomination, and monster. A majority of the time, the bullies would say to Y/n to go back to America, where freaks like him belong.

However, as Y/n was taking the long way home from school, which no one but him knew about, he found a woman bleeding out. Before Y/n could see if she was alright, a few mobsters asked Y/n where the woman went. Y/n lied to the mobsters, as Y/n felt like the woman was himself. But what was unknown to Y/n, or anyone, he had unintentionally awakened his Sacred Gear.

Two months after Y/n saved the young woman, they both ran into each other. When they both realized who the other was, the woman said one thing to him. "You saved my life, when you could have easily ratted me out. I will never forget that moment for as long as I live." Y/n was very confused on what that woman said, but a few days later, things started to change.

In his house, when Y/n said no to something his step-mother didn't like, she was about to burst into rage and hurt Y/n, but didn't. School even changed, as all the teachers and students treated him like a star pupil, and made sure he became the best student in the school. Unbeknown to Y/n, the woman he saved had the ability to make things happen, no matter what.

When Y/n reached age ten, he started to grow his fallen angel wings, which scared him. Afraid of what his parents would do to him if they found out he had these wings, he ran away, not leaving any note behind. It was during his time alone in the world, that he unlocked his Sacred Gear, Life Bringer.

Seven years later, after Y/n finally learned to control his powers and how to retract his wings, he decides to finally come home. However, he comes home to see both his dad and step-mother dead, with his father's body burned, and his step-mother's tongue ripped out. Y/n, determined to find the killer, goes through many forms of internet in order to find the killer.

One year later, and legally changing his last name to L/n, after learning that was the last name of the woman who changed Y/n's life, found out that his parent's killers were somewhere among Revocs, and the CEO's daughter, Satsuki Kiryuin, was the head of a school called Honnoji Academy. With this info, and his determination on high, Y/n enters Honnoji Academy, with plans to rise to the top, and one day, overthrow the current CEO, ending their reign, and take over their entire business for himself.
