A young girl walked down the street before her house, clutching a leash attacked to a small, brown dog with waves of faint black on her back, a black tail tip, and black circles around her eyes. The girl had golden-brown hair, and grey-blue eyes with a far away look to them.

She had earbuds in, and was nodding her head to the beat of her song.

Suddenly, she was startled when a loud explosion took place behind her. She jumped, whipping around and pulling out her earbuds.

The dog barked, pulling on the leash to go in the direction of the explosion. The smoke it left cleared away unnaturally fast, revealing a young man wearing a mask with an arm around a girls neck and holding her with her back on his chest.

He had a gun pointed to her head, and her eyes were wide with terror.

"What the heck?" Said the man, his voice muffled as the girl walked towards them.

"Who are you?" Asked the girl, her eyes narrowed with suspicion.

"Where are we?" Snapped the man.

"In a street in Georgia, why?"

"We were just in Paradox!" He snapped. "Paradox?" Asked the girl.

"Paradox, Ohio." He said.

She began to laugh, as the man looked at her.

"I didn't realize people liked my story that much." She laughed, smiling.

"Story?"

"Paradox, Ohio is a fictional town that I came up with for a fanfiction I wrote called The Squad." She said, shaking her head.

"What? I'm not from a story!" He snapped. "Prove it!"

"Calm down, Timothy, and release Spark. Then we might talk."

"Everyone knows Spark, how do you know me?"

"Like I said, I made you up." She said.

He let go of the girl he had a gun pointed to, and she ran to the girl who had identified him as Timothy.

"I think you two should come with me. We have a lot to talk about."
