"what's the commotion all about?" i asked cu

"oh? you didnt know?" cu asked

"that's why im asking." i answered

"we're here to welcome other master potential candidates." cu answered

"i see. so the other master who were cryopreserved have woken up" i answered

"nope. they are still in coma" cu answered

"are they from magus association?" i asked

"not them either. you really dont heard the news?" cu answered

"what news?" i asked

"chaldea have been scouting masters from other universe and timeline." cu answered

from other universe and timeline... dont tell me...

"im here to welcome bazett. rin arrive a while ago. she was welcome by arturia. why wont look for arturia. you might find rin with her..." 

but i left cu without hearing the rest of what he is about to say

i can sense arturia in my room. 

just as expected, they're here. from the looks of it. they're waiting for me.

"what took you so long to see me?" rin greeted me.

geez... this girl is never change. she's the same girl as i recall.

"i should take my leave" arturia answered

hey. dont leave me here.

but i can read arturia's expression that i'll be fine.

"you got a lot of stories to tell. but first, tea and some snacks, archer!" rin ordered

i laughed

"what are you laughing at?" rin looks embarrased

"you sure love my tea." ianswered

rin blushed more.

"here's your tea and your snacks" as i placed them in the table.

i noticed rin she's reading something from a tablet. finally, rin can at least use a gadget.

"you really have fun here." rin commented

"what makes you say that" i asked

rin showed me the tablet

they were full of picture and videos of what kind of life we had in chaldea.

"you didnt smile that much in the universe i came from." rin answered

"and you look happier now." rin added

i was about to say something but rin cut me off.

"i found something interesting" rin then showed me pictures during valentines and christmas event.

damn that christmas event

i disappeared in front of rin

"archer? hey! dont hide from me" i can hear rin screaming

geez. im really an idiot. 

from all the places i choose to hide. i choose to hide in my reality marble. for now, rin cant find me here. but i cant stay longer here. 

knowing rin, im sure she's going to pry my chaldea life.

i have to figure out what are the things i should tell her and keep from her.

the next thing i know. i was summoned back into my room. 

in front of me is rin who is now wearing a chaldea uniform. and her left hand has 2 command seals.

"dont you know how precious command seals are!" i scold rin

"of course i know. but the technology in chaldea is amazing. command seals regenerate after 24 hours" rin said

damn. im the one who is helpless here.

"no running away from me. or else..." 

"else what?" i asked

"i'll use another command seal to make you a very obedient servant" rin threatened

"pls do." i answered

"huh?" rin was shocked

"dont tell me you're still a tsundere." i asked

"shut up." 

and rin did used another command seal

"finally. i miss that binded feeling" wait something is not right.

rin was shocked then she asked "what binded feeling?"

"being binded by you" wait, when did i become this honest?

"rin what exactly did you use the second command seal for?" i asked

"you're still the archer i know. you really love to poke fun of me. i just want you to be obedient and honest with me." 

did she just say honest with me?

"say what?!" i asked

"you're the one who provoke me!" rin answered

"i just miss you" crap. my mouth wont stop 

"archer?" rin looked surprised

"silly girl. i said i miss you. im happy to see you. and if possible i want to be the servant that serve on your side"

holy crap. i miscalculated. i wont mind being obedient with her but this honesty is going to be my grave.

rin blushed and she's silent.

"rin, pls say something" i break the silence

"you being honest wasnt bad either" rin commented

"what are you saying. it's bad in my part. i might ended up saying i love you" shit my mouth wont stop moving and i ended up saying the thing i was not supposed to say

"you're joking right?" rin asked

"i really love you" damn it. if things didnt end well. im going to cut my tongue.

rin slapped my back

"geez. you sounded like shirou. you really an idiot, archer! from all the places you're going to confess. it's not even romantic!" rin complained

"im going to die from embarrassment if things keep up" i answered

"very well. im going to be fair with you then. for your honesty, i will allow you to ask any question and i will answered it honestly"

"did you end up with shirou?" i didnt hesitate to ask.

"i did." rin answered and i fell silent

"i see." he laughed. so my younger self did get to have a happy life after all

"but we broke up" rin added

i was surprised

"why did you broke up?" but rin is silent

i held her hands. "pls. i want to know." 

"because of you" i didnt expect that answer. both of us fell silent.

"lets talk about something else" rin suggested

"i want to know what happen" i said

"i will tell you more when im ready" rin answered

"very well. i'll wait. can i still serve you?" i asked

"of course." rin answered

sorry. if i was gone for a long time. i have a busy life now as a chemical engineer. im supposed to write a very short story. but didnt expect to be this long.
