Magnolia Port, Asura's POV

At long last, I've finally arrived back at Magnolia. My horrid suffering had finally come to an end. What kind of suffering you may ask? Well, I have an extreme case of motion sickness, which renders me immobile whenever I am on top of anything and everything that moves. Horrible, I know. And the worst part of it is that I can't get rid of this motion sickness, it is a permanent thing that I am forever stuck with until the day I die. I get off of the boat that I was riding in and collapse on the ground.

"Ughhhh oh my god Mocha, I am never doing that again!" I groaned out as I am laying on the ground.

"That's what you said the last time we rode on a vehicle, and the time before that, and the time time before that... and the time before THAT, it just goes on and on!" Mocha says as he walks up to me, wearing his usual outfit, and in his human form. That's right, my exceed and best friend for life has a human form

(this is what Mocha looks like as a human btw)

"Whatever. Remind me again why you have a human form?" I ask the male exceed as I sit back up off of the ground.

"It's so that people don't make fun of me for being tiny and you know it!" He pouted.

"Mocha... You're still shorter than me even IN your human form..." I deadpanned.

"Asura why..." He said, sounding really hurt as he crouched in the nearest corner with mushrooms growing out of his back.

"Easy there, shorty. I was only making harmless fun. Now I haven't played my violin in a while, so I figured I could go to the center and perform a song for the townspeople!" I say as I stand up.

"You're forgetting we're supposed to be meeting with Jupiter first, Asura." Mocha says as he gets up and shakes the mushrooms off of his body.

"And speak of the devil, there he is." I say as I point to a figure that is approaching us.

"Oi! Asura and Mocha, there you two are! It took both of you long enough!" Jupiter says as he finished walking to us.

(Yep, its the same Jupiter that Asura knew as a kid. He has his own human form after he learned transformation magic like Mocha did.)

"Bah, whatever Jupiter. Are you really that same dragon that I knew as a kid? The Jupiter that I knew was never this big of a prick." I say as I dust myself off.

"Easy there, tiger. I was just checking in on ya. And you're supposed to call me Junpei while I'm in my human form, Asura." He says to me.

"Whatever you say, Jupiter. Now let's get going, I wanna go to the town center so I can perform!" I say as I start walking towards the town center as the other two behind me.

Once we reach the town center, I run to the fountain and summon my violin as I put the bow to the string and I prepare to play.

Natsu's POV (surprise!)

I was walking around town with Happy and Lucy when I overheard a conversation between a few towns people.

"Hey did you hear? Somebody's about to play a violin song in the town square!"

"No way, really?"

"Yeah! You coming?"

"Hell yeah, I'm coming! There's no way I'm missing something like this!"

"Hey guys, do you wanna go watch this person perform?" Lucy asks Happy and I.

"Sure! It would be nice to hear someone sing after all this time!" I say as the three of us head to the town center.

When we get there, we see a hooded woman holding a black and gold violin. She smelled so familiar, but I couldn't figure out why.

As the woman finished her song, the hood on the cloak she was wearing fell down, revealing... ASURA!?

Asura's POV

As I finished playing, my hood fell down, revealing my face for all the world to see. I sighed and desummon my violin, and looked in front of me, only to be met with a flying ball of blue fur to the face.

"Asura!!!! You're back!!" Happy wailed as he cried heavily while hugging me very tightly.

"H-Happy! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be back at the guild?" I ask the blue exceed as I finally manage to pry him off of my face.

"No way! Me, Natsu, and Lucy decided to take a walk through town, and heard that someone was performing. We didn't realize it was you!" Happy says as he floats with his wings.

"Well, now you do. You said that you came with Natsu and someone named Lucy, who I assume is that blonde girl behind you. But I don't see Natsu anywhere. Where is my favorite flame brain that I know and love?" I ask as I observe the blonde girl that was standing closely behind Happy.

"Oh him? He's standing right behind you." The blonde girl known as Lucy says.

"Oh, hey Nats- ACK!" is what I manage to say before I am pulled into a near bone crushing hug by my fellow dragon slayer and guild mate, Natsu Dragneel.

"Wahhhhh!! Asura, you're finally back!!! Where have you been for the last six years?!" He says as he bawls his eyes out.

"N-Natsu... c-can't breathe..." I managed to wheeze out as I was quite literally starting to turn blue from the lack of a vital thing called oxygen. Natsu finally lets go of me as I take several deep breaths of air.

"As for where I've been, I was on a thousand year job, which I FINISHED!" I say proudly with a smirk on my face.

"A thousand year job?! That's so cool, Asura!!" Happy shouts in excitement. I then turned my attention to Lucy.

"You're Lucy, correct? My name is Asura Nightsong, and I am a wizard of the Fairy Tail guild." I ask her as I introduced myself.

"Wait, you mean the famous god class wizard and Sorcerer Weekly idol, Asura Nightsong?!" She asks, sounding extremely shocked.

"You got it, blondie! Say, you wouldn't happen to be a celestial wizard, now would you?" I ask her.

"Y-yeah I am! How did you know?" She asks curiously.

"The keys dangling from your side are a dead giveaway, sweetheart. Anybody could tell that you use celestial magic." I deadpanned.

"We need to get back to the guild and tell everybody that you're home!" Happy shouts with excitement in his voice.

"Alright, alright we'll get going, but I want to keep it a surprise for now." I say as we start walking towards the guild hall, with Mocha and 'Junpei' following closely behind us.

A few minutes later, the others walk inside the guild hall and I conceal my magical presence so nobody realizes that I'm here. I kick the door open with a powerful kick.

"WASSUP YOU NUMBSKULLS I'M BACK!!!" I yell as I kick the door open only to be met with a flying table to the face. A murderous aura then surrounds me as I become instantly pissed off.

"Now then, who would care to confess to throwing that table at me?" I say, with my voice full of murderous intent just waiting to be unleashed upon the poor soul who had just done goofed badly.

Everyone immediately goes silent before quickly moving away to reveal the culprit behind the flying table, and it turned out to be none other than fellow guild mate and resident stripper, Gray Fullbuster, or as I like to call him, the Snow Stripper.

"A-Asura wait, I can explain!" He cries out as I put my hand on his shoulder with a very menacing smile on my face.

"Too late, Snow Stripper." I say as I teleport the both of us out of the guild to a secret spot.

Ten minutes later, we teleport back in with a severely traumatized Gray.

"MOMMY!!!" Was what he cried out as he ran extremely fast out of the guild like his life depended on it.

"With that idiot out of the way, might as well announce that I'm back." I say.

The guild remains silent for a few seconds before erupting into a very loud chorus of cheers.

"Alright, Asura's back!!!"

"Our guardian dragon has returned!!"

"After six years she's finally come back home!!!" This is what various people in the guild yelled in happiness. Then the guild master known as Makarov appeared.

"My dear child, you have returned from your mission. How did it go?" He asked me as we hug each other.

"Oh that thousand year job that I took? I finished it, of course." I say.

The whole guild went silent once more before erupting into cheers once again, with various wizards coming over to congratulate me.

"Welcome back to Magnolia, Asura!" They all say as I had a big smile on my face.
