Hey Guys! Tessa Here! I'm now an official Aphmau's Fairies writer, so I'm going to be posting a new fanfic that is very different from other fanfics! ^-^

Goodbye
Misaki's POV
"I'm sorry my dear, but I cannot stay...." Irene was fading from view, disappearing into nothingness, as the whole world turned to black.
"Wait! Irene! Please!" I sprinted after her, moving as fast as I possible could. Irene raised her hand.
"I'm sorry. I promise I will always remember you, my dear fairy of Irene." A single tear slid down her cheek, glistening against the black sky. I stopped in shock. I hadn't seen Irene cry in many years. Not since.... Shad. My shock only lasted for a minute, and I began running again. A white light eroupted from my Matron's hand, and I hit an invisible wall.
I awoke with a cold sweat along my brow. I was laying on my bed, clutching my pillow. I slowly calmed my breathing, then peaked through the window. The sun was just beginning to creep out from behind the hills.
I climbed slowly out of bed, and slipped on a pale pink dress, my dream still fresh in my mind. Normally, dreams fade quickly, but not this one. It was still frozen in my mind, haunting me. This dream, it had just felt... so real.
I found myself walking the familiar path to Irene's home. Suddenly, a horrible possibility crossed my mind, and I broke into a run. Irene had the ability to talk to her followers in their dreams. She'd only ever done it once, but that dream was more real than any other. She wasn't actually saying goodbye, right?
I could feel the stares of the people of Scaleswind on my back, but none of that mattered. I skidded to a haunt in front of a huge purple door, and stepped inside. In Irene's home, I saw all of her other followers gathered around a large round table. Irene's chair was empty.
When no one else looked up from the map, Hannah stepped forward.
"Misaki, it's Irene. She's gone."
