Cookie's Challenge
Okay so Little_Cute_Cookie tagged me in this challenge, what it specifies is that I list my favourite cards from each clan, I have to have an actual reason to it as well. She said that it could be just 5 but I'm gonna actually do it for each of the clans (except Cray Elemental, Etranger, Touken Ranbu, TachiVan and BREAKERZ. I'll be doing this by Nation starting with United Sanctuary clans. With that here goes!!
United Sanctuary
Royal Paladin
Sanctuary Guard Arc
Reason: This dragon to me was needed for the Sanctuary Guard build, giving a skill that when you stride lets you call a grade 1 and give that unit power which gives potential for different units to call whether it'd be a unit that gives you more power or a unit that can allow you to draw a card with a soul blast increasing your hand. Not only that if you don't stride with a Generation Break he gives grade 1 or lower units a 5000 power boost giving potential for powerful attacks. On a side note his artwork was amazing
Oracle Think Tank
Floral Witch Master, MiMi
Reason: MiMi, a stride created for the Witch archetype in the OTT clan. It has a powerful skill with a low cost. By simply discarding a card with Witch in its card name and having a Witch heart card the opponent is given a choice, discarding two cards which in turn lowers the number of cards the opponent can use to guard an attack, or not discard and receive one damage that has its trigger effects nullified meaning if they fail to pay the cost of discarding at 5 damage you basically lose the game. In the notes of artwork it has a really nice design that I really like.
Angel Feather
Nurse of Broken Heart
Reason: A unit in the Angel Feather clan that is used in almost every deck nowadays and with fair reason. Its a grade 2 with the skill to give it and the vanguard 2000 power every time a card is placed in your damage zone and with Angel Feather being the clan that controls the damage zone it can be a very powerful skill which if used right could give a you column that reaches over 30000 power. In terms of the artwork I like her design and it suits the clan and Gavrail who it was released alongside.
Shadow Paladin
Dragheart, Luard/Witch Queen of Transfiguration, Sinclair
Reason: I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule here Little_Cute_Cookie but I feel that to me Luard and Sinclair are both equally good cards, the reasons being that Luard is a new grade 3 that once you stride over it can let you retire to call 2 grade 1 or below units to the rearguard allowing for a quick field build up and has a Ritual skill that lets you return cards to the bottom of the deck (2 to be precise, which can't be triggers) and by doing so can stride without paying a cost. Then there's Sinclair a Witch stride that allows the player after paying a cost with the right conditions to force the opponent to look at 10 cards in their deck and ride a grade 0 from among them to become their vanguard and make it that to guard from hand with units above grade 1 will have to counter blast and this is for each attack, dealing with 3 or more attacks with a vanguard that has 5000 power (or lower if the trigger is a 4000 or 3000 power unit) can be quite difficult with the limited options and can be a good game finisher. Not only that both their artworks are well done and I can like them both in that sense, but also their skills are innovative for the game changing things up. IF I broke a rule here out of these two I'd say Sinclair would be the higher priority choice still on par with Luard
Gold Paladin
Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit
Reason: Okay now this one will be quite easy to do. You're doing your turn and you have a full field, a big soul and lots of counter blast to use. The opponent has a bit hand that you need to break down and you want big power. What do you do? Stride this card, with a Unite skill that makes Platina Ezel look like a grain of rice in a rice bowl (with Gurguit being the bowl holding every single one of them). His skill not only allows you to counter blast 1 and soul blast 2 to give your rearguards 5000 power, it gives the vanguard 5000 power for each of your rearguards AND it can be stacked. By simply using the skill 4 times with a full field you can give your vanguard 100K you give your rearguards 20K each. THAT power pull is ridiculous! Not only that since it isn't bound to just Gurguit it can be a force to be reckoned with in any Gold Paladin deck. The most ridiculous I've seen it in is a Ezel deck with Raven Haired Ezel. Since he blocks your opponent from guarding with grade 2's and 0's from the hand you are forced to only use grade 1's in hand to guard for the entire turn even after you stride on top of it. It can be blocked but it is EXTREMELY difficult if you aren't careful
Genesis
Cosmic Regalia, CEO Yggdrasil
Reason: Skill-wise Yggdrasil is a good card for Legion which can let you soul blast 6 to block your opponents grade 1 or higher units from blocking from the hand and gives a critical to it as well. Combining this with skills that let it gain power from soul blasting them gives it high power (a friend of mine in real life who LOVES Genesis gets it to 100K like its nothing), other reasons I have are it was one of Misaki's main units in the anime and its artwork is pretty XD
Dark Zone
Spike Brothers
Juggernaut Maximum Maximum
Reason: Alright now this one may not be as good as reasonings but as a G-Guardian it has an interesting skill to give a rearguard power and by doing that give itself 10000 shield and at the end of the battle (or turn forgetting which) return the rearguard chosen to the deck. Now for my bad reasons why...the name, I mean when I saw that its name was Juggernaut Maximum Maximum I laughed so much XD I mean that has to be one of the weirdest names ever and I can imagine there would be lots of jokes about it
Dark Irregulars
Wings of Annihilation, Blade Wing Tibold
Reason: Now this stride is a good one for the Dark Irregulars, it may be restricted to builds with Blade Wing's but its skill is good for it allowing you to return all your drop zone cards to the deck and depending on your soul you can soul charge 5 or give power to your front row. This stride allows you to give your deck a restart so you don't have to worry about decking out like you normally would with a Dark Irregular deck. Combo a few cards with it and you can make it more powerful. Not only that it has a great artwork design that suits it really well.
Pale Moon
Masked Magician, Harri
Reason: This is a great card added to the Pale Moon clan introducing the Magia keyword. With it you can call a unit from soul after soul charging and give it 5000 power when you stride on top of it and also it has a skill to do the same thing when he attacks a vanguard, though minus the extra soul charge. Not only that its artwork looks real nice and really shows off how Harri is a performer like all the other cards in Pale Moon
Gear Chronicle
First off I wanna say considering its Gear Chronicle its hard to say I have favourites here since although its good as a new clan but there are something about it in terms of its execution and role in the anime that annoy me (Chronodragon Gear Groovy....why did they choose that name?). Anyway back to the challenge I'm giving it to Chrono Dran, because as a starter it works perfectly with the deck allowing you to call a Chronojet by placing it in the soul after binding it for Time Leap. In artwork he's done well and you can see his similarities to Chronojet presented in lore.

Nova Grappler
Exxtreme Battler, Victor
Reason: I choose this as my favourite Nova Grappler because his uses are perfect for the clan, giving a stride a skill that can stand a rearguard with 5000 power with a simple counter blast and its Generation Break does the same as its given stride skill giving the vanguard a power boost as well. Not only that I love its design that being a giant orange robot that looks really awesome to me.
Dimension Police
True Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daikaiser
Reason: One of the few forms of Daikaiser and in my opinion one of the strongest. The reasons why are that being a legion it can attack for 22000 on its own, but you can pair it up with its skill to get a critical and counter blasting one when you get a grade 3 in drive check to retire a guardian and nullify perfect guards. Combo it with the Break Ride Daikaiser you can retire 2 guardians, attack for 32000 power and have a critical of 3. Plus its design is one to love and not hate.
Link Joker
Star-Vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon
Reason: A great Star-Vader grade 3 which allows you to draw cards with a soul blast when units are unlocked and retire them at the same time and by counter blasting one you can lock a card, not only that it has a stride which can be very powerful for a deck. It has gotten support as one of the main decks to use in Link Joker as well, even when it was first released it was a powerful card
Magallancia
Aqua Force
Blue Storm Wave Dragon, Tetra-burst Dragon
Reason: Blue Storm Wave Dragon, Tetra-burst Dragon was one of the best Legion's in Aqua Force with a powerful skill that can allow it to attack for 28000 power and a critical of 2 during the fourth battle of the turn with a counter blast of one and with Aqua Force's play style this is an easy feat if you have the cards to get extra attacks, not only that its mate can be very useful in the rearguard and its artwork is really nice XD
Bermuda Triangle
Brand-New-Prism, Garnet
Reason: I'm gonna start with the skills for this one obviously. Its skill to call up to 3 Prism's when you attack can give potential extra attacks if your field is empty using the skill and to be able to add an ultimate break that adds an extra drive can allow you better chances at pulling triggers to power up the rearguards you just call to the field and when you return a card to your hand you can counter blast to give a unit a 5000 power boost that can help you out to break through, not only that this card is able to combo with many different cards or strategies one of them being the Vert stride which can let you superior break ride returning rearguards to your hand, draw and give her an extra 10000 power. In terms of artwork its really pretty and Garnet is cute XD especially since it can be seen in two different styles, the normal one or the wedding special rare putting her in a wedding dress which although weird makes the artwork even better
Granblue
Undying Departed, Grenache
Reason: One of the best starters in Granblue, a hollow skill to retire it from rearguard and a skill that once this happens you can counter charge two, a skill that can really help so that you can get a refund on your skills. Not only that since all you need is a Generation Break 1 it can be used in any deck as long as you make room XD
Zoo
Megacolony
Lawless Mutant Deity, Obtirandus
Reason: There are many reasons to like this G-unit but I'll make this one short by saying the obvious. It prevents calling of any kind on the opponents turn, you paralyse all their rearguard and use that skill you pressure them
Great Nature
Crayon Tiger
Reason: A grade 2 for the Great Nature that has the ability to stand a rearguard, give it power, and when its retired at end of turn lets you draw. This makes it have many potential combos and although you'll need to boost it to use this skill its worth it for the draw power and the extra attack on a turn, also the artwork is very creative.
Neo Nectar
Ranunculus of Searing Heart, Ahsha
Reason: The newest Ahsha to the Neo Nectar clan, its skills let you call at the end of any turn, counter charge and soul charge if you call another Searing Heart Ahsha and when you stride over it you can call a bloom unit from the deck to rearguard with a counter blast and soul blast. The changes to its artwork compared to the original Ahsha also really appeal to me and really shows how much she has changed.
Then finally..Dragon Empire (raise your hand if you were surprised I'd save this for last XD)
Murakumo
Ambush Demon Stealth Dragon, Shibarakku Buster
Reason: This is a powerful stride to say the least, you copy one of your units on the field with a counter blast of 1, soul blast of 2, discard of 1 and place a unit from drop zone to your deck and you choose that unit to get the ability to do a drive check during the first battle of the turn, this allows you to add more cards to your hand and lets you add more power with a trigger or even re-stand it if you get a stand trigger. In terms of artwork its very nice and with its skill its the first of its kind.
Kagero
Dragonic Overlord "The Legend"
Reason: First I wanna make a note why wouldn't I choose an Overlord for this one XD but back to the real reasons like Buster it has a skill that is unique, that being able to add 15000 power, 1 grade and 1 drive basically making it a stride and all you have to do is discard a counter blast and discard a grade 3 Flame Dragon, not only that when placed by counter blasting and soul blasting one you're able to search the top 5 cards of the deck for a Flame Dragon, with heal triggers and perfect guards that are Flame Dragon you're able to search up not only offensive cards but defensive ones too. In terms of design it is a really awesome looking form of Overlord
Tachikaze
Emperor Dragon, Gaia Emperor
Reason: Gaia Emperor was one of the first Engorge units to come out in the Technical Booster and honestly it has a good skill giving 5000 power and a critical when you attack with a GB2 and making it engorged. Not only that its stride skill lets you call two with the skills to return to the field after retiring making it so you're able to build up your field again after using skills. In terms of design it looks very ferocious and pretty in design especially with the rainbow headpiece with cannons.
Nubatama
Stealth Dragon, Shiranui/Shura Stealth Dragon, Kabukicongo
Reason: Again I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule but I love both these cards in Nubatama XD I'll start with Shiranui, his GB2 skill allows him to get power and a critical if he attacks and the player has a smaller hand than the opponent. The best part is his stride skill that allows you to counter blast 1 to make the opponent bind a rearguard of your choice and they are forced to discard a card from their own hand and because of that it has much potential to combo with other cards introduced to Nubatama. Next is Kabukicongo, his skill when he was first released was very useful allowing you to bind all of the rearguards the opponent controls when he attacks with a counter blast and if your opponent has 3 in the bind zone he gets 10000 power giving him a high power and has helped me out in many of my games because of it. In terms of artworks both of them are very impressive to me and have appealed to me equally.
Narukami
Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon
Reason: Any card fighter on here that knows me would know that I have 4 avatar cards in the Narukami clan since it is my favourite clan, those cards are Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster, Dragonic Kaiser Crimson, Dragonic Vanquisher and finally Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon. But for this I've chosen Gauntlet Buster since although I do like the other 3 I mentioned no matter what Gauntlet Buster will still remain as my most favourite one because it was the one that started it all. The reasons why I like it are as follows. His Limit Break is a skill where when a rearguard on the opponents field is placed in the drop zone he gets 3000 power and plus 1 critical, the other grade 3's didn't have this kind of skill back then which made it a real powerhouse that although could be blocked with a simple perfect guard could combo with many of the cards in the clan since it focuses on the opponents retiring their rearguards (I had made a combo to retire all 5 rearguards and give 6000 power for 3 of them XD). His second skill also compliments his Limit Break being able to retire one rearguard with a counter blast of 2 Eradicators. His artwork is also EXTREMELY awesome. He is a badass red dragon that uses thunder to punch his foes. His lore had also interested me too since he was nicknamed 'The wrecker' because of his great power. His appearances in the anime also impacted me greatly being used by my favourite character Naoki Ishida
