Murtagh's POV

I opened my eyes to pure darkness. Then stars came into view. Not just stars, but constellations of people. Then I saw the one person I had wanted to see since I knew of her existence."Mom" I cried. I tried to run to her, but I couldn't. In fact, I couldn't move my arms or legs at all. Only my head, neck, eyes, and mouth. I looked down at myself and saw that I was made of stars too. When I looked back up I saw my mom effortlessly floating towards me."How are you doing that" I asked her."Don't actually try to make your muscles move, just picture it happening in your mind" she answered in the motherly voice I'd always wanted to hear directed at me. I began to picture myself moving and it gradually happened. Eventually I reached her."What should I do mom? I mean I know how to bring myself back but I don't want to leave you" I said. My mom looked at me as if the answer were obvious."If you know how to go back then you must. I have been watching you and your brother and I know how dire the situation is" she said. I agreed with her completely but as I tried to give her one last hug I started to slow down. All of a sudden it made sense why she moved so much slower than me. If you stayed here too long than you would become slower and slower. My mom noticed and yelled faster than I expected "Hurry your running out of time." I didn't know what she meant until I started forgetting all of the words of the ancient language that I spent months memorizing until all that was left was the true name of the ancient language. I tried to say it but I guess that since my voice was so slow the ancient language didn't recognize it as a spell. Then two words popped into my head: draumar kopa. Then I became numb to all thoughts and felling accept for the fact that that I was stuck in here for forever.
