"what are you doing here?!" "i came to drop cookies off around the neighbor hood when i got a text from my facebook saying it was your birthday and to come over and i was like we don't even live in the same country and your friend you live here and my sister wanted to meet the girl i have been talking to for the past couple months and i kinda wanted to also.." he trailed off he looked so cute in person not to mention his little sister was freaking adorable her light brown hair went to her mid back and her blue eyes sparkled as she smiled brightly. i couldn't say anything else i just hugged him. i wrapped my arms around his neck and i was on my toes because he was taller than me breathing in his scent and i loved the hug.

he put his arms around my waist hugging me back after his shock went down. "so your the girl my brother has been talking to?" "yes i am." i said squatting down to her size after i stopped hugging alex. "your pretty. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she yelled giving me a hug. i hugged her back. i stood up and looked at alex. no one in the party noticed what just happened which i was kinda glad for. but the guy i was talking to over the internet for so long is in my house giving me a gift for my birthday. "so your finally 16 pandacakes." he smirked. "yes i am mr. im not a pedo." "oh come on!" he said throwing his hands in the air making me giggle a little.

"i always liked your laugh pandacakes." i smiled looking up at him. "oh here we got you this for your birthday." he said handing me a pink pastel color box with a bright blue bow. i turned around to see my mom and cassy smiling there faces off and then turned around when they saw me look. "lets go up to my room." "ok." the little girl came up to me and put her hands in the air and i picked her up and went up the stairs to my room and as he came in i closed the door and locked it.

i set the little girl down on my bed and alex sat next to her. i sat in my desk chair and turned to face them. "wow i cant believe its you alex." "i know its been so long." "im glad i finally get to meet my new best friend." there was something in his eyes when i said best friend but it wasn't joy its was more like sadness....

ALEX P.O.V

i was delivering cookies to the neighbor hood when i was half way through my phone buzzed and Kelly said i had gotten a facebook message. i stopped and read it.

JESSIE: hey this is Jessie's friend cassy and i wanted to invite you to her birthday since i saw you lived in canada

ME: but i don't  know where she lives and we aren't even in the same country

JESSIE: she didn't tell you did she well we live in the same country and the same neighbor hood

my heart stopped for a second the girl i was talking to for months and i am starting to fall for lives in my neighbor hood!

ME: what house?

JESSIE: the house that is white and it should have balloons in front with a black truck

ME: ok i see it but what does she like i want to give her a gift

JESSIE: i don't know i mean im her best friend but just get her something heart felt she loves those things rather than last minute store bought stuff

ME: ok

i then took Kelly's hand and ran home. i put the cookies in the kitchen and ran to my room. i got her gift together and put it in a pink pastel color box with a bright blue ribbon because she said those were her favorite colors.  i did my hair like usual and put on a black button up shirt with a blue tie and black skinny jeans. i then got Kelly dressed in a pink and white dress with her black flats and her hair was down.

i then walked over to her house and rang the door bell. when she opened the door her face was pale like she saw a ghost and she stood frozen. "what are you doing here?!" she said shocked. so your the girl my brother has been talking to?" Kelly said to Jessie "yes i am."  Jessie said squatting down to Kelly's height."your pretty. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she yelled giving Jessie a hug. im glad Kelly likes Jessie. we went inside and no one seemed to notice any of this. i saw two people smiling lie a fool watching us. "so your finally 16 pandacakes." i said smirking. "yes i am mr. im not a pedo" "oh come on!" i said throwing my hands up in the air. she giggled a little and it brought a smile to my face. "i always liked your smile pandacakes." hearing her laugh makes me smile foolishly and made my heart melt.

 "oh here we got you this for your birthday." she grabbed the box and turned around and the people who kept staring at us turned away. "lets go up to my room." she said as Kelly walked up to her holding her hands up so Jessie could carry her. i rolled my eyes as Jessie's giving in. i knew she was a softy.  when we got up to her room it was  dark blue walls with a black tree in the corner white Christmas light on her head board on her day bed that had a pull out bed underneath for when people spend the night and her  sheets were light blue and black her pillows were purple blue and black with white. and she had a desk with a orange chair and a pink and blue bean bag chair in front of her flat screen tv.

i liked her room it was like emo mixed with normal maybe i would do this for Kelly just with her favorite colors. "wow i cant believe its you alex." "i know its been so long." "im glad i finally get to meet my new best friend." my heart broke in to millions tiny pieces that cant be fixed the words 'best friend' kept replaying in my head like a song stuck on replay. i meant nothing to her other than a FRIEND......
