I zoomed through the city using my motorcycle, passing red lights with the excuse of being an official agent working for the government.
The city's glowing lights lit up the night sky. The summer breeze seeping into my thick afro.
I'd enjoy it if I didn't have people to kill.
I had one thought and one thought only, put an end to the avengers. The thought racing through my head as the Avengers tower got closer and closer on the gps system built into the high-tech motorcycle.
~
I repeated the orders in my head.
Get in. Kill. Get out.
I prepared myself at the front door and walked in through the glass doors of the tower.
The lobby was futuristic with marble floors and glass windows. My eyes darted back and forth to find the security cameras.
Letting my power do the work, I send a wave of blue electricity secretively with my hand behind my back to the cameras to take them out.
Studying the amount of civilians in the lobby, I confidently walked towards the lady sitting at the front desk.
"Hello, do you have an appointment?" She asked, looking up at me.
I didn't rehearse what to do here.
Instead, I decided not to waste anytime.
"Hello? Miss? I said do you have an app-"
I cut her sentence off and grabbed her by the neck, lifting her up out of her desk with my left hand. Smirking at her pathetic attempt to free herself from my grasp I used my power to throw her limp body against the far wall to the left of me.
Screams break out and I use electricity to cut off the lights.
I hear my instructors voice through the earpiece.
"Well done. Elevator on your right, 93rd floor."
My plan was to catch the Avengers off duty during a party celebrating the return of those who were blipped.
I used my electricity to levitate me through the halls toward the elevator, killing anyone and anything in my way.
-
Making my way to the elevator, it was time to disguise. I acted as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent and pressed the elevator button. A woman with black hair pulled back into a neat bun and in black party dress was waiting for the elevator next to me.
I instantly recognised her as Agent Hill.
I felt her eyes, but I stared straight ahead waiting for the elevator, watching the floors go down.
We entered the elevator, and she broke the silence with a question.
"I haven't seen you around here before." She asked still facing the elevator door.
"Yeah. I got transferred here from an underground enterprise." I wasn't used to lying, and by the look on Hill's face I obviously wasn't good at it.
"Really? You know we at S.H.I.E.L.D study every file of every person that's ever walked through those front doors? Hiring an agent from an underground organisation is the last on our list."
Fuck. "Don't make this hard for me, Hill. I was really hoping you'd be one of the good ones. If only you weren't working for them."
Before she could reply, she received a phone call.
*Agent Hill, there's been a breach of security in the main entrance. Civilians report a female with blue electricity coming from her hands and bright blue eyes dressed in black combat gear. They reported her last heading for the elevators.*
She slowly turned her head to face me, but the elevator reached it's stop.
Smooth jazz filled the air along with the lingering smell of booze and expensive cologne. I looked at the crowd.
Agent Hill walked out of the Elevator and walked towards the crowd with Tony, Steve, and Rhodey and I walked the other way toward's the bar.
The mission could wait, why not mingle? I haven't done that in a while.
I took a seat on the stool and was greeted by Natasha.
"Hey, stranger. Literally, stranger. I haven't seen you here before."
She looked at me from the other side of the table where the drinks were, green eyes staring into my soul and right through my lie while placing a drink in front of me.
"I'm new. Transferred here. Us new agents get moved around a lot. I'm assuming you're black widow?"
I pushed the drink away, refusing.
"I'm 18."
"Well, newbie. Welcome to the team. Stuff gets hard so come visit me if you need anything." She winked before walking away to chat with Banner.
I got up from the stool and walked towards the nearest power source.
A lamp. It wasn't much, but it'll do.
It was time.
I used my electricity to cut the lights and slowly levitated over the crowd.
"Friday? What's going on." Tony looks around at the rest of the Avengers among the crowd.
An electronic voice responds back. "Sir, I'm trying to get the power back on. There's something, someone stopping it."
I spoke, revealing my appearance and my silence using my power to illuminate me from the crowd, the blue lighting coming from my hands creating an epiphany.
"Avengers. You may not know who I am, but you will."
