Kim's POV
It's a beautiful Sunday morning as I step to the garden of the orphanage. I let my raven black hair fall over my shoulders, let my red skirt swirl around me and hum a song. Thinking about today. But not for long. Soon I just close my eyes and listen to the singing of the birds. I let the sun prickle my skin and just relax.

Oh and almost forgot my name is Kim. Kim Flux to be exact. I live in this orphanage called Black Rock lead by Ridgedog in this town called Yogs. It's a fairly simple life except for one detail. Every year 6 kids have to go to a experiment to see if they have what this laboratory "needs". I never thought much about it till I was chosen to go. My best friend Hanna is coming to. She is in the blue group. I'm in the purple with Rythian Ender.
These colors tell you what kind of experiment you have. There's the colors red, blue and purple.
But sadly today is the day I have to go.

"Kim", I hear a familiar voice say. It's Hanna waking me out of my daze. The stomps towards me with a unhappy face on, her long blond hair flowing around her.
"Kim where were you? I've been looking for you everywhere! Look you're not even dressed!"
"Look Hanna"
"No buts Kim! Ridge sent me to find me and if we come to late we'll both be introuble", she says heaving me to my feet.
"Ok relax Hanna", I say while she pushes me back into the orphanage to get ready. She slams the door shut and we both vanish into the orphanage.
