Yae said as she looked at Rick's hand with a bit of concern

Rick;yeah I guess your right about that but for now we'll relax
Rick said as he and yae enjoy their time away from the leagues and any one else's bullshit

(A tiny time skip)

After coming back from the beach Rick changed his shirt while Yae got into some more comfortable clothing

Rick laid on the couch that yae likes to use and he begins to close his eyes while Yae lays on top of him using him as a pillow

Yae;today was great don't you agree Rick
Yae asked as she relaxes

Rick just hummed in agreement as he slowly drifted to sleep and as that happens Yae caresses Rick's face gently as to not wake him up

Yae;he's like a sleeping wolf pup
Yae said as she looks at Rick as he sleeps

Yae noticed that Rick had been lost in thought sometimes and would jump at the slightest thing though it wasn't much but she has her concerns but for now she'll enjoy the moments they have in peace

(The next day)

Rick was walking through the forest just taking a simple stroll
Rick's mind; this is peaceful
Rick thought as he stops by a tree and enjoys the scenery

A voice said as Rick turned around to see his father or a image of him

Termui; of course I know how to, how did you think those images appeared since you had your first kill!
Termui said but Rick ignored him and continued to walk

Termui;your going to be like me a monster that only cares about destroying everything and everyone!
Termui said while laughing

Rick;than what about mom you know your wife was her death to your enjoyment
Rick said as he continues to walk

Termui grew angry as his aura was showing a little bit

Termui said with a bit of anger

Rick;no I will cause when you killed her I promised myself to be better than you to someday look for a better tomorrow

Termui said with more anger

Rick stopped as he stands on a cliff side showing the ocean and a great view of the island

Rick said as silence was all there was
