Chapter Thirteen
~Y/N POV~
Since I'm still off work I thought I would give these numbers that Skye gave me. She was hesitant to give them to me but I got them in the end and texted all six different number. Not really sure of who was who but just copied and pasted the text so they all got the same message.
There was no need to text Hoseok since he was already here with me and knew of what was going on. In fact as nervous as I am Hoseok hasn't left my side all day since six of my exes with be showing up within the hour.
Skye and Soobin went out for dinner tonight to give us some space while Junwoo is working late. He doesn't even know I'm doing this but I know he wont be back from work until the early hours of the morning so it's all good. I'm not worried about Junwoo walking through that door to find six faces that he despises sitting in his living room.
Hoseok was in the kitchen making drinks while I was sitting on the couch trying to focus on the tv but it wasn't anything interesting and frankly nothing was going to distract me from my rushing thought and wonder what this outcome could be after this.
Mainly I just want closure for some of the break ups I had with few of them. It all affected me in some way through out my life so far so the least I could get is an explanation from some.
When the door bell rang I jumped up to my feet ready to get the door but Hoseok sped passed the living room door towards the front, waving me to sit down.
"Ill get it, you sit." Hoseok
I nod and sit down on Junwoo's single seater. The nerves crawling all over me almost overwhelming me the point I could be sick. Maybe this wasn't a good idea?
But when I heard Namjoon's voice I knew it was too late.
Although I cursed to myself when I heard not just two pairs of feet heading towards the living room but more than a couple. I only expected Namjoon and Hoseok to enter the living room but I was wrong. It seems all seven of them walked through that door, Hoseok leading the way and coming to sit by my side on the arm while the other six found random seat through out the living room, squeezing onto the long couch.
Although they all did greet me in their own way as they took up seats, either a little hello or a small wave. I mean I got a wave from Yoongi and I was surprised since I didn't think I would get anything from him.
Hoseok turned off the tv and the room just fell silent. I knew I should talk but I didn't know what to say. How do I even start?
But Hoseok placed his hand on my shoulder gently and offered me a reassuring smile. I patted his hand on my shoulder and took a deep breath. It was good to know that Hoseok was here to support me, out of all my exes here, Hoseok is still my rock and never left me or did wrong by me.
"So....To be honest I don't even know where to begin. This is so weird to have you all here but I thought it would be best to speak to you all at once to get this over and done with."
Each one of them nod at one another as if agreeing together.
"First I just want to ask how the heck did you all end up in the same place as I did? Do you all know each other?"
They all shared a look at one another, as if to see who would talk first but Jimin spoke first, holding up his hand.
"I wasn't meant to be there the other night. I was driving by in my car when I spotted Yoongi doing something he should of." Jimin
He squinted his eyes at Yoongi who sunk down on his seat to avoid Jimin's death glare from across the room. The two were sitting far away from each other. Jimin on the long couch while Yoongi was sitting on a bean bag Soobin took out earlier.
"What was he doing?"
"Drugs. Isnt that right Yoongi?" Jimin
Yoongi shrugged at the question directed to him and looked away avoiding everyone's gaze on him.
"I was having trouble with something." Yoongi
"Bull shit Yoongi. We've been over this before. You know to call me if you're having trouble." Jimin
"So you two kept in contact?"
I asked with a lump in my throat. Those two hated each other in school so why are they seemingly close now?
"Actually I'm a therapist Y/n. I help people with addiction and Yoongi just so happened to be one of my patients and you know when I saw him doing what he was, I had to stop him and that was when you all showed up in the alley." Jimin
I nod taking in that information but then settled my eyes on Namjoon and Jin sitting next to each other as if asking how they know one another. I remember seeing them both together at the club having drinks.
"Oh, er we didn't know each other Y/n. We just got talking at the club about our ex's and when we both figured out we shared the same ex that's when we saw you. That's all." Namjoon
"It's true Y/n. We had no idea." Jin
The two seemed like they were telling the truth so that thought of them possibly stalking me went out the window so content with their answer I just nodded with a soft hum and they seemed a little relieved that, that's' how I reacted and let out deep breaths out.
"Y/n I didn't mean to cheat on you!" Taehyung
I sighed tilting my head to the side not surprised by his outburst. For weeks after our break up Taehyung kept begging me to come back to him until I got that transfer to work in a different building.
"I saw you fucking her with my own two eyes Taehyung."
Hoseok's grip on my shoulder tightened slightly as he always hated that Taehyung cheated on me and I witnessed it. Jin and Namjoon were no strangers to it as I told them about Taehyung when I was with him which explains the dark resented glares Taehyung was receiving from the duo right now.
"But I thought it was you!! I swear!! She looked just like you. I even think I was drugged, you have to believe me!" Taehyung
It's true, the girl he slept with did just dye her hair like mine that day but still it doesn't excuse his behaviour.
"What were you doing at the club Taehyung?"
Taehyung just stared at me in silence for a moment, bending over his lap and blinking before he cleared his throat.
"Just having some drinks with some work friends. When I came out the bathroom that's when I saw you." Taehyung
"I'm surprised I didn't see you in there, I was in the bathroom too." Hoseok
Taehyung glanced at him just to shrug innocently.
"And me! I just owned the club everyone was in. This is so weird." Jungkook
He sighs just to look around the room but ends up looking at me with a smile. His bunny smile coming back to view which hasn't changed a bit and it was nice to see again. It's been so long and it's comforting to see. Jungkook was my first love after all before any other man in this room.
But when his smile dropped I mentally prepared myself for what he was about to say next.
"But why did you stop contacting me Y/n?" Jungkook
I shook my head with disbelief and gasped,
"Me? You're the one that stopped answering my phone calls and letters."
"No, you never called me. You just stopped and I lost your number and I never got any letters from you either." Jungkook
"But I did send letters! Lots of them."
Jungkook's face formed a deep frown, eyes searching my face as if to check if I'm deceiving him in any way but I'm not. He's the one that stopped contacting me not the other way around.
"I take it you were with her all night?" Namjoon
He butted in, asking Hoseok directly. But Hoseok just chuckled and held his head high.
"I was and I've been with her ever since. I don't fuck her over like the rest of you." Hoseok
"Hey! I didn't fuck her over we just lost contact!" Jimin
Jungkook didn't say anything to protest as he was too busy staring off into space mumbling to himself in deep thought.
"Yeah sorry, you're right. It's just the other four assholes sitting in this room that hurt Y/n and she deserves more than that." Hoseok
Namjoon stood up from the couch, scowling at Hoseok with his fists balled up.
"Hey fuck you Hoseok!! At least we didn't fuck off for years!" Namjoon
"My sister was sick you asshole and Y/n understood that! Never once did we loose contact or even so much as fight because I have been there for Y/n for years even when she was with the three of you and when you hurt her. I was there to pick up the pieces!" Hoseok
Namjoon flinched forward as if ready to throw hands but jin grabbed Namjoon by the wrist and pulled him back down to sit.
"Don't make things worse Namjoon, we're here to make things right not make it worse." Jin
"What do you mean by that Jin?"
I asked him curiously and Jin just gave me a saddened look.
"We've all talked and none of us liked the way things ended so honestly we would like to make things right between us. In what ever way you'd like, whether it be as friends or whatever." Jin
I looked up at Hoseok when I thought of possibly making things right with them but Hoseok shrugged at me and leaned down to my ear.
"It would be up to you Y/n. What ever makes you happy." Hoseok
I nodded and shot him a smile. What can be the harm in being civil with them?
"Okay well I guess we can move forward. I think that would be best for us to move on with our lives and if you want to I can see about spending some time with you individually BUT only as friends. That's it."
I had to make sure that's what it was, just as friends nothing more than that. We're all adults now and older even if some of my exes here were adults like myself when we were in a relationship but again there should be no harm to it.
Or am I too forgiving?
